Ok", he said as a guardian flew out to set the papers. He turned to his fourth form and flew into the castle, he turned all the steam into hot hair, "if I turned that much water into hot steam then someone would have gotten burnt", he said as he activated the spell.

The tower glowed a bright red with five lines on each side of the papers. The tower became hot then. The lines formed larva and turned the insides into a burning kettle.

He flew out and went in to get pavol flyiing down to kuroi, "done. Let's go. If they know what's good they won't use water and let it cool by itself. The spell Tobi chose was indeed a good one"

The corners of her mouth lifted at the sight of the red tower. Those left inside where surely fried now. Something nagged at her from deep within though, a specter haunting this very moment.

" I agree. We can return for fun after Yuuma is tended too" Crimson streaked her fur when she draped him over her back. Darkness held him fast. Pavol was taken gingerly within her teeth to avoid his blood freak out later. She looked back as she passed through a portal that led to Yuuma's room in the castle.

His room also had bookshelves but it differed from Shinigami's with a place to study astrology, herbal garden, and a crafting area. The boy was set in a chair before she approached the bed and layed Yuuma down. She was a dark blur as she rushed to the herbal area; taking her human form along the way. There she filled a bowl with water and looked over the herbs he had worked with.

He looked around the room and walked over to Yuuma, "so he's been studying medicine. Looks like something he would do. Sol do you understand details of Yuuma curse. I've seen him fly around but in dreams but he wasn't attacked so why so soon"

" The nature of his curse is purely punishment" Sol stated as he manifested by Pavol. " It has been devouring his body since the curse was given. When he exerts energy in large amounts it hastens the effects"

A ball of mixed herbs was grabbed along with the bowl before Kuroi returned. She set them on the nightstand then pulled a cloth from one of the drawers. " Note the lack of wounds on her" Sol said as she turned to clean the blood. " She was wounded in that tower. Yuuma must of used his power to get them out. The cost is before you"

Well he didn't have to do that", he said taking off the cloak and a magic circle appeared around Yuuma. The magic circle to hide his presence unativated, "I'm getting the curse undone. If I can't...never mind I'm doing it. Averin, books on curses please and how to free them. I don't want Tobi scathing the place finding them"

The last of the blood was cleaned up when the circle appeared. She placed the cloth in the bowl, turning the water red. A few books rose through the nightstand and stacked themselves by the bowl. One book, black metal cover with purple runes in a circle sat on top. Kuroi was fast to snatch it away. " Those are mine, Averin!"

" Don't bother..." Sol said as he looked towards the side with regrets. " The curse is not recorded because it's Luminary magic. Glira and her mother were furious when his parents left the city. She crafted it to cease killing him if they returned. Death would destroy the curse but..." The memory of that day was still fresh even 16 years later. Their joint anger poured into a single curse that tore the night apart " Would you bare her wrath as a mortal?"

Death huh, so it's that easy", he said as the circle changed then he took off his shirt, "I'm going to get sweaty after this. Sol, Tobi, and kuroi, I will remove his soul. Get it and hold it down. It would linger around since he's unconscious", he said walking to Yuuma as green treads appeared on his hands, "most use one, but I'm a master", he said as twenty treads appeared from his body and latched unto yuuma, "this method fishes out his soul. I will pull it out when it's caught. Kuroi, when they get his soul, the curse will misbehave and that's when your sealing magic comes in. I will do the killing and healing. Yes averin sorry about this but could you find a book on ways to stop the heart temporary. I can do it but I love have he instructions there to look at it to ignore"

" My lady crafted a poison to put one into state of false death. It shall stop his heart for a time "
Kuroi swung her arm towards the ghost. " Just get it" Her hair was blown to the side when he left the room. She had separated and rejoined a few souls before. Different methods were used but the soul always needed time to settle back in.

The lunar pendant gave off a soft light when she touched it. A second was crafted which she dropped into the water with Yuuma's blood. By now Sol had wandered to the other side of the bed. " You sure you can handle the curse?" He said.

" We all have this which is why we will succeed" She looked up at Sol with a confident grin. " O-of course..." He said bowing his head.
A bottle was lowered before her face when she looked towards Shinigami. She snatched it from the air, pulled cork out with her teeth, and rested a finger over the opening. " I believe we are ready"

Ok then", he said as his mana flowed out in the room. The poison floated towards yuuma and stayed closed to his skin, "Tobi, now", he said pulling out Yuuma soul completely out of his body. Tobi caught the soul as it was floating about. The poison entered Yuuma body and he waited for it to take effect.

In 15 seconds the soul took the shape of a dragon and Yuuma's breath and heart grew still. The tail of the dragon remained connected to him showing he was still alive.

" An illusion of death is no good. You must kill him" Sol reached for the connecting strand only be slapped by Kuroi. The light of Yuuma's soul made her eyes appear as blue flames. " I know that" She said reaching into the bowl to remove the pendant. The once silver moon had been infused with his blood which drew the soul to it when she passed it through.

His life was now tied to the pendant and his body dead. Darkness closed around them leaving the soul to be the only light source. " The night was split and I obtained memories beyond my time. What is closest to the night will share that fate while another will gain memories beyond their time" Sol warned as he reached out to touch Yuuma at the collar bone.

Kuroi's eyes grew wide at what he said. She would share the fate or at worst her heart but it was too late. The moment he touched Yuuma, the curse erupted from his body. Two dark and fiery peacocks burst forth to slice through them. Their feathers were blades soaked in the blood they had fed on for years. One made note of the soul and turned to try and steal it back. The other lashed out at Shinigami and Kuroi.

Tobi", he shouted out as the curses were thrown to the wall by a massive amount of mana. They were strangled and beaten down. Seven seconds later lines began to appear on them binding then to the wall. He tore out a paper from his notebook and revealed a binding spell on it, "he owns me a lot for this", he said as the spell activated and began to pull the curses inside, "Tobi is a spirit that's stuck with me since childhood. A couple of weak curses won't stand a chance against him especially when they are in his zone", he said as one was sealed in the paper and the other was next, "averin prepare a bottle"

His zone? Was the book always Tobi's place? An empty bottle was slid before Shinigami's feet. Before he could do anything with it, Kuroi fell to her knees and used her blood to write a spell on the tag. It crept through the glass, creaking like ice, before fading away.

" It won't interfere...but it will help" She said and turned to Yuuma. The blood moon was placed around his neck before her own powers could claim the soul. She smiled when she saw the soul reattach to its body.

Fingers spread to the floor, more souls flowed into her and revealed where the damage was made. Spirits scattered the moment she closed her hand. She forced herself to stand and watched Shinigami. Would he gain the random memories or someone else? " What does he owe you for this?"

He wouldn't tell me", he said as the second curse was trapped and he rolled up the paper and put it in the bottle then coveted it up, "ok, please put this sonewhere where it won't attack anyone around it and kill us all", he said giving the bottle to kuroi and picked up his shirt, "when will the poison be gone"

He had done what she thought he would. The runes in the glass lit up to burn a seal between the lid and bottle. " I have just the place" She tossed the bottle up to catch it by the neck.

The limp she held walking towards the door caused concern to Averin. He snatched the bottle from her and floated ahead. " I shall hide it. You need to take care of yourself"
She waved her hand to wish him away and kept walking. " The poison shall wear off in one day. Just enough to move a body. I'm sure you would appreciate a bath after that. I shall show you where they are when I return " The bottle was pulled away when she reached for it again. " Averin! He asked me to hide it!"

" That he did." The ghost touched the wall and sent his magic through the castle to light it up again. A trail of purplish blood ran from the edge of the bed to Kuroi's feet. She looked over her shoulder at Shinigami, eyes wide and trembling, before bolting out the door. The last sight was her sliding once only to recover and run.

She's going to live that perfect goddess attitude to the end", he said then looked to sol, "it would be awkward to leave it be so take care of your son.", he said then turned into a flash of light and followed kuroi, "she knows she's too injured to outrun me right Tobi", he said looking over to see a guardian following, "ok follow the trace of blood would be a good solution", he said stopping, "averin, where's she going?", he asked as his body went back to its normal form, "it would suffice if I had a sheik cut"

" Very well. Tend to what you must" Sol faded away as he vanished out the door.

Averin followed behind, keeping the bottle in his hands. " The living don't change overnight. She shall learn to be comfortable with imperfection in time." The blood trail abruptly ended with a few shadows swirling at its end. They grew still and faded away shortly after. " She may have gone to her heart, the baths to clean up, or one of her many secret thinking places"

Her heart then. Somewhere she wouldn't let me know about. Are you sure she didn't go to her room. That's where I would go", he said looking around the bottle to try and make out averin, "guess I still can't see them "

He chuckled at the response before turning to the wall. " She is an enigma to many. Her room is..." Runes were carved into the wall and activated to open a portal. A bitter wind poured from it then fell still.

" I give you a choice" He said as he carved a new set of runes. " The first portal leads to her heart. This one shall lead to what she considers her room. Both of us may be wrong" The second portal opened with the last rune in place. The sweet scent of rain wafted from it.

Ok let's go to her heart then", he said going in the first portal. He noticed he hadn't worn his short yet then put it on

The place where her heart was kept was a void. Though the heart gave off light, it offered no security from the darkness. The curse's damage showed with a split in the heart. Ethereal blood dripped below at a steady pace. A most unsettling presence clawed at the very air. Dark ice grew with each step forward to create an elegant yet deadly cage. Magic flowed through the ice to briefly reveal runes. if one could read them they would find the real danger had yet to be seen.

Purplish blood trailed of into the darkness. Voices could be heard but fell silent when the ice grew with a final statement. " I understand...go" A flood of blood rush towards them, circling at a surprising speed before heading to the heart. Blade claws were formed to hold it and the blood continued to solidify until a large, crimson dragon stood over it. Horns, claws, and spikes were all gleaming blades fit for drawing blood.

Averin shifted between the dragon and Shinigami. " Vaulkar, where has she gone?"
The blood dragon only grinned and turned his attention to Shinigami. " That's her secret. What isn't a secret is her overconfidence"
