Hey guys! I'm gauging interest in Kala Ree, my new bonding RP. The playstyle is high fantasy, low tech. The main PC race, the Serra, are sort of like feline elves who dwell in treetop villages. Think "woodland technology:" lots of pulleys, ropes, bottles and cups crafted from carved wood or seed shells. They do use fire, but they rarely smith metal, instead opting to use trees, stone, and clay to craft their needs. There are also the massive griffon-like Kyrka who pair up with the Serra at birth, forming a mental connection called the bond.
If anyone is interested, feel free to ask questions here or on the forum. Everyone is welcome to join, even if you don't end up making a character. I'm sorta trying to relive my glory days of RP with this group, and I would be thrilled if we got a large turnout. If you join, you'll make a Serra character. You can then try to "bond" with one of the Kyrka chicks by interacting with the mother (played by me). I then choose who the chicks bond to, and after that, you get to play them as your own character. Does this sound up anyone's alley? Anyone interested in partaking, or have any suggestions? Let me know!

That sort of clothing doesn't fit the continuity, and the pic you drew is unfortunately not quiiite what Serra look like! They also can't have golden eyes. But you can submit an application on the forum and we can work it out there! Glad you're excited about the game!

i did not draw it i just found it. i can change the eyes but douse the picture really matter? becuse i'll be using him in other stuff to,
i was also going to do another page one for this and the other page for just what ever.

Wow, this does sound very interesting! Heck, I've been RPing for ten years & have never tried out a "bonding game". This seems like a refreshing RP. Just curious, have you developed any sort of plot line past the actual bonding?
I'm not sure if they were widespread or if it was just me and my group of friends! I dunno!
As for a plot beyond the bonding, yes! I have someone else lined up to play another adult Kyrka to help get things rolling too. I don't like giving away my plots early, but here's how it'll basically go: the bonding, some training/adjustment period with the baby Kyrka, and then the first big plot which will involve a little bit of strife in what is normally a very prosperous and peaceful place!
It'll be something pretty simple to start out with. I'll start by dropping hints on public threads for players to come and investigate!

This is a really awesome idea! Once I'm a little less sick I'll look into it in detail, but this sounds amazing!

Why did it take me so long to check this thread out? That sounds like an amazing idea, as well as a perfect opportunity to create a new character. Count me in, this sounds fantastic! In a few days I'll buy me some character slots so I can get a Serra going.
