Very recently, there had been a slight commotion in a church of a small town. There had been a large meteor, or what originally seemed like a meteor, that fell just over a week ago, but had shown to be a chiseled, unconscious male with very large wings.
The church had gotten a hold of the mysterious man, desperately questioning him about anything that had lead him to this odd turn of events and falls, and he seemed to answer them all no problem...
Though he was confined to the church grounds, which he didn't seem to mind... Now he sits in the garden outside, watching the town with a small smile, watching all the carts and caravans that passed through, giving off a bright holy aura to those that were able to sense such things.
He took in a deep breath through his nose, smelling the earth around him... he enjoyed this place.";

Word spread quickly, like it always did when something big happened. But that was NOT the reason Eevi was traveling through this town. It just happened to be en route, and her cards had told her that she should continue it.
She, of course, was skeptical. Churches often made bogus news in order to draw attention to themselves. And this seemed so far fetched that she had no choice to believe this was the same thing.
A man... falling out of the sky... with wings? She laughed at the idea every time she thought of it.
But, to be honest, her feet were tired from the walk, and she was more than ready for a good sleep. And thank the Gods, this town had an inn.
Even purchasing her room for the night, people were asking if she had come to see the angel. Apparently, the inn had seen a lot of traveler's doing just that, and rooms were scarce.
"No," she'd say bluntly, annoyed with the talk. What gullible idiots, she thought.
The room was small, with the basics in it. At least she was thankful enough for that. Immediately, she went to brush her hair, applying oils to it to make each strand shine. She was a woman, after all, she she was a little vain about her looks.
She looked to her coin, and frowned. She had enough for some food, but she would have to perform in the inn if she would hope to have enough when she left. That may be difficult though, seeing as this town was hell bent of believing in angels and such.
Sighing, she took what she had and made her way out to find food.
Of course, on the way, she'd pass the church. Curiosity be damned, she decided to peek over the hedge rows, along with a few other people, just to see what all the fuss was about.

The male's still sitting in the middle of the garden, despite a priest or two trying to get him to come back inside with all the commotion. He shook his head, "I could just leave the church, that'd be nicer-" they suddenly began telling him that that wasn't smart, making him sigh, mumbling something about hating churches as he stood and went to talk with the people, looking over at Eevi with a kind smile, going over to her specifically with a kind smile.
Eevi saw the man, and for a brief moment, she was stunned. He really was an angel... She shook her head though, realizing it was all a trick. Probably some prop the church had been working on for a long time. She frowned as he approached, all the while people muttering about him coming so close.
"Don't think I am falling for your trickery," she huffed, not returning his smile. "It will only be a matter of time before these people learn the truth."

He blinked at her and frowned a bit, putting out a hand, pulling back the draped sleeve that was over his arm, long past his hand, back to his elbow, "This is how you introduce yourselves, right? Shaking hands?" He smiles, "My names Triberion."
Eevi was a little taken aback. He didn't seem bothered at all that she didn't believe in the churches lies. She looked at him hand, and then back up to him. The gesture brought a blush to her cheeks because... well he was handsome after all. But she huffed again, turning on her heel, and walking away.
"How dare he!" she said to herself, as she made her way down the main road. "Trying to... convince me..." Though, she wasn't sure if he was actually trying to convince her of anything. She was just irritated nonetheless.

The male instantly frowned as she turned and slumped his shoulders with a quiet, "Oh..." He was a very social creature, being turned down wasn't exactly one of his favorite things to happen socially.
But after a few moments he decided to try and get himself to move on from it, so he went back to conversating, but after so long, decided to go back inside the church... for whatever reason that might be, who knows.

Bread and stew... what else but the most common food would she be able to afford? She ate it begrudgingly, listening to the gossip around her, as people talked about the angel, and how God MUST be real, and whatever else they had to say at the time. Already in a bad mood, Eevi slammed her fist down on the table, and stood up abruptly.
"Okay! That is it! I'm not going to let those cultists get away with this. Brainwashing people!"
She stormed out onto the main road again, straight for the church. It didn't take long, before the doors flew open and she swiftly walked in, shouting, "Enough of your lies! I know full and well that man is not an angel!" She threw her hands on her hips and frowned at everyone in her sights.

Triberion wasn't anywhere to be seen, so he must either be in the basement below or out in the garden... either way, he's a bit sad that someone didn't want to meet him...
One of the novice priests simply gave the girl a pitiful smile, "He's a gift from God, what is there to deny? He's crashed here, we need to relish him!"

"Oh, please!" Eevi said, walking up to the man and getting right into his face. "I know this whole business, I used to be like you. Don't think I don't know for a second what you are trying to pull. If you are so sure he is a gift from God, then bring him here! I'll prove you wrong..."
The priest blinks and backs up slightly at her, being a bit intimidated, "He-He went to the basement... said, said he needed to be alone...." He shakes his head, "If you want to bring upon his holy wrath, feel free to disturb, but you would be the cause of his anger, SOLELY."
Eevi rolled her eyes. "Such a push over..." she said, pushing past him and making her way downstairs quickly, going two steps at a time. "Okay, Tribet, or whatever your name is. The jig is up!"
"Triberion," comes a quiet voice of correction. The man's currently sitting in his corner, loving on a rather large rat, almost the size of a small cat, not seeming to mind the few bites he's gotten from it before he was able to hold it without too much trouble. He looked up to her after a moment, "But thank you for trying to get my name right." He smiles a bit.
"Oh, don't you even try it with that nice guy attitude. Take those wings off and go up there and tell them the truth!" The rat was disgusting, and it further proved in her mind that this guy was a fake. No heavenly being would love on something so filthy.
The man frowned and set the rat on his shoulder, almost like a bird, then walks over to her, standing just a bit under a foot taller than her, then turns so he had his back to her, "Please, do try and pull them off... I have nothing to hide."
She didn't hesitate a moment, when he told her to pull them. She did, hesitate however, when they did not pull off. "What the --" she started, tugging a bit harder. After a few more moments, she took a few steps back, purely bewildered.
"Okay, what's the deal?" she asked, frowning.
"Okay, what's the deal?" she asked, frowning.
When she tugged harder he flinched with an, "Okay, not THAT hard, jeez..." He rubbed at his shoulder as best as he could as he turned to face her, "I'm not lying... they just don't want to ask what I'm actually doing here so they assume what I am..." He shakes his head, "Fallen angel, at your service."
"They don't ask..." she started, before shaking her head. "No, no, wait a minute! Even if what are you saying were true, so you are a fallen angel, those bigots up there think you were sent from God?" She chuckled a bit. What a complex ruse you are playing at." She didn't believe him, per say, but she could play along with his little game. She had a feeling the idiots upstairs were actually being played by this man.
"Okay, so what do you want out of this?" she asked, resting her hand on her hip.
"Okay, so what do you want out of this?" she asked, resting her hand on her hip.
He frowns, shrugs a bit, "I guess you could say I was sent from God... just not in the sense that they think I am..." she rubs at the back of his neck, "I just... I just wanna find my Responsibility..."
"Your -- what?" she asked, frowning a bit. Okay, maybe this guy was just crazy. He really believed he was an Angel... Not that the wings and the odd hair color might be a dead giveaway. "Well, in any case, you can't stay here and expect to find your whatever. So you should probably leave."
