The hoildays are over. It's a new year. To file taxes and work on your new year's resolutions if you have any.I deal with them by making new beginnings. Plus I gotta a lot going on this year. So how do you cope with the blahs.
The most common thing I usually get told, to help my mood no matter the time of year, is: Do something you find fun.
What if that doesn't work anymore?
Even though a lot of my friends have a busy rl, I find if I can snag one of them when they have some free time, they can brighten my mood even for just a short period.
Take my newest friend Gena Windstarr. We could just be having a normal/random conversation, and things pop up between us to make it more interesting.
Example being: I told her I was listening to Aqua's Barbie Girl song (shush, no judging). She introduced me to two other song's of theirs and I love them like she does. Well. One song is titled: Lollipop (Candyman). I was listening to it when writing a smut scene with Gena, and then I post her OOC going: I'm listening to Lollipop (Candyman) and now keep thinking of Alucard as Gena's (She has an OC named Gena) Candyman. I then took part of the lyrics and changed them to fit our characters.
Gena will also just out of the blue say things that make me laugh aloud.
When Krispy is on, she makes me laugh with her creativeness and being a master sneak. Because she will put stuff down for an rp response that I don't see coming.
Just last night she did so. She rp's James Moriarty, and in our rp world he's married to my lycan assassin (don't ask, long story, but it works). Anyways. James get's blamed for a LOT of stuff when it comes to family and friends. And last night he was blamed for hacking into another of my OC's things, and interrupting Thomas's (my other OC) time with his girl friend. Harper (James's wife) got peeved off at James. Krispy then puts in response that it was James's sister (an OC of Krispy's, and Thomas's girl friend) Rebecka who hacked Thomas's stuff to find out what he was up to cause he was acting weird.
I laughed when I read that. I didn't expect it nor did I see it coming.
Demi-San combat's my blahness when he is just himself and supporting me how he can. Be it giving me virtual hugs, sending silly smiley faces, or just saying something that just makes me go: OMG! DEMI!
So for the most part for me, it's who's available of my friends, how they are doing, and what mischief we can get into simply by talking.
I've also spent a great deal of time (not lately though) watching so much routines by my favorite comic's that I can probably come close (not really) to reciting parts if not the whole routine.
My go to comedic's are: Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias, Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Robin Williams.
I don't care how many times I've watched something from them, I will re-watch them over and over.
