Zero ::: Out of the 4 gargoyles of protection that Lord Vyrox had created at the birth of all existence, Zero was the first and known among all expanses of the multiverse by any note worthy god or deity. Zero was the usual go-to gargoyle for any issues in the balance or violation to the Genesis Laws, written by Vyrox himself. What was it that made such an idolized figure among the creators go rogue though? That was something that for now only he truly knew, but surely there was a method to the batshit crazy gargoyles madness.
"Our foolish mistakes?! Curve your tongue, Deity! Vyrox wrote the Genesis Laws which we all abide too. It is up to him to decide whether or not they are to be tested, and at what costs other planets will suffer to do so." The mouthless gargoyle narrowed his eyes upon the appearance of Kariah, his voice radiating from the air itself when he spoke. A mysterious feat that had no real explanation. The words he spoke though were obviously enough contradicting in themselves. Here he seemed to praise Vyrox still for such balance in the multiverse, but here he was now also on the verge of breaking them. "Why dont you just sit back like last time and wait for this all to be done. I assure you this time there will be no tragedy. There is a difference between breaking the laws and knowingly bending them." The gargoyle, perched atop the a stone pillar very appropriately continued to play statue. No motion, no anything to identify life. There was just the glowing of white flames within his eyesockets which suggested a magical presence. No wonder many people suspected the gods to be crazy. They talked to statues!

Kariah wasn't unnerved by Zero's lifeless appearance like some would be, after all, she had seen to the birth of all the different kinds of life and plenty of them would be considered unnatural. In truth, she hadn't really expected Zero to back down and thus wasn't surprised when he hadn't. The real reason she had come wasn't to argue with him, but more to give him a warning.
At first she seemed rather amicable to what the gargoyle had said by purring, but then her felinesque eyes narrowed and she gave a warning iv a calm, bye precise tone. "Yet I happen to recall that everyone was so surprised at what had happened on Volcana. If I recall weren't you were the one who had to round up the wayward godling and arrange for his imprisonment in the underworld while I cared for the ruined planet. Well listen well, should the past repeat itself, I will not be lifting a paw to fix the damage. Instead I will leave the ruined planetary fragments to serve as a reminder as to why the rules shouldn't be toyed with."
She then disappeared in a flash of light to who knows where.
[She'll show up again in my next post, I just thought this would be a good meanwhile at Leon. Also i named the plant that was blown up Volcana and I said godling because he likely wasn't a mature god at the time.]

Zero:: There would be no real way of seeing it on his lifeless features, but the gargoyle was displeased by the goddesses disbelief in his ways. Then again he couldn't blame her. No one would be happy with what Zero was doing. He was on his on with this one, but its funy what faith can do so someone. Zero had faith in not only his plan, but in that unique male who had just woken up down the cliff side.
"What happened on Volcana was the result of some self righteous mortal getting ahead of himself once he was told his destiny! That is why the mortals know nothing of the Genesis Laws! I do not plan on telling this one of my plan like Vyrox experimented with on Volcana. He will know nothing of the laws or his future. The outcome is not what matters here in regards to his ascension! All that matters is how he reaches his destiny, unaided by the gods! So once the time comes that we see what he does with his power, we'll give you a call if things need cleaned up. Otherwise, we will have among us the first mortal born Genesis Guardian to have ever existed in the multiverse. A feat which Vyrox believes to be impossible."
The gargoyle remained where he was, watching then as Kariah vanished into a flash of light. Where she set did not matter to him, so long as she didn't get in the way of his work here with Leon. Things had only just begun and here he had Kariah breathing down his neck. He didn't expect this task to be an easy one. The further along he could get before Vyrox caught wind though the better.

Kariah had returned to her little Eden and watched as a Xerces Blue butterfly flitted by. It was a species that had been drive to extinction on it's homeworld and now was one of many species that existed only in her domain. These species may soon be joined by many others soon should the disaster repeat itself for no matter what Zero seemed to think, she had no intention of repairing the planet should it be destroyed. After all how else would he learn his lesson if she always fixed his mistakes?
However she would prefer if it didn't come to that in the first place and decided to give the mortal called Leon a nudge off the path that Zero was trying to steer him onto. After all, many potential disasters had been averted in the past with only a tiny bit of intervention by both gods and mortals. Besides she wasn't like some deities that believed violence to be the go to solution for problems, she should know as she ended up treating said gods when they ended up beating the crap out of each other.
Kariah closed her eyes and went to the business of locating Leon's soul, it was bright, but confused which was understandable considering the circumstances. She then let her warning flow directly to his mind to insure that it would be heard. "Return from whence you came. The path that you have been made to step on promises only great misery for you. Step off the path and find your own way in life." The voice that he heard was calm, clear and ethereal that would provide no explanation as to where it could come from. He might also have found it to be enchanting.

(Picking up from Leon's first post)
Not even knowing where to start Leon did the only sensable thing he could think of. Remaining there seated on the cliff side he just stared off into the wilderness, letting the buzzing in his head slowly subside now that he was starting to get most of his senses back in line. After reading that note from Zero he couldn't get it out of his head. "Just take my time... Take my time with what?" He sighed lightly, his black and gold eyes gazing over the horizon.
When the voice in his head came it certainly sounded like it manifested out of nowhere. Sweet and whimsical it may have been, but there was something about it that he greatly displeased. "I haven't been awake for more than 20 minutes in this world, and now I have voices telling me what to do?" His eyes narrowed as he looked around him, trying to find what may have been speaking to him. Leon was not a fan of authority. Even something as little as a voice telling him what to do. "Corrcect me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you're trying to give me a different path? That's pretty hypocritical seeing as I haven't even done anything here yet... And carving my own path would mean... Say **** you and ignore you. I like that option more. Thanks for the tip." No Leon didn't think he was crazy or talking to himself. He knew forces existed in the world and that someone was surely listening.
Taking a slow breath Leon let it out at equal pace. With a push he slid himself off the cliff edge, holding in his hand the black bag that his clothes had been given to him in. Free falling down the cliff face he narrowed his body, toes pointed down and his arms stretched to the side. After so far of falling usually ones speed increased, reaching terminal velocity. Leon slowed down though, the wind around him picking up and swirling underneath him rather violently. Not that you could see it, but the sounds of rushing gusts could be heard around him as the trees below at the forest floor rattled. Eventually descending down to the ground he landed softly and brushed himself off, a few leaves and loose blades of grass that had been caught in he winds having stuck to his body. "I guess I just walk..." He shook his head, setting forth then to what seemed to be nowhere at all.

Kariah just shook her head and let out a groan at the mortal's reaction. Why did some mortals have to be so stubborn? Well she wasn't about to give up easily, a lazy god is worth absolutely nothing after all. So she decided to try another tactic.
As Leon walked he would suddenly see the ground split in two beneath him with fire and lava spouting from the cracks. He would see the land around him burning in fire and frightened animals stampeding past. The air was filled with smoke, stinging his eyes and making him cough. Then suddenly he started to float up see that everything in his sight was a burning wasteland filled with bodies and not even the tiniest sign of life. Then he would flat up even higher until he see his planet all cover with charred earth instead of lush greenery. Finally he would watch his planet crack into pieces before violently shattering leaving nothing but planetary debris in it's place.
Then he would be back where he was, with the ground beneath him whole and perfect. What he had seen had been only a vision, a vision that had felt so real as he could still remember the feel of the intense heat on his skin.

It would be hard to deny the fact that he was sight seeing, but it was true that he was sight seeing. Who has never seen trees and bushes before though? Who was not familiar with a cloudy blue sky. It's not that Leon had never seen these things before, he just sure as hell could not remember them. Everything in his mind was fuzzy. Waking up here in a new world was just that. It was a new world and everything was interesting to him. At least until the vision struck his mind. Feeling like he had finally gotten his senses back together was nice but it was now shot back down. The world around him stirred and fell into ruin. The smells, the heat, the sights; everything was artificial and not of his own. What he was experiencing however seemed to spark something within his mind.
"Well now... That seems rather familiar..." He spoke to himself lightly as the vision went on. If the goddess playing with his mind could sense his feelings then she would surely sense the confusion from before fading away. An odd state of tranquility would befall him, almost ominously as the dreadful vision played on. The tranquility soon seemed to turn to anger though. A festering darkness pooled in his mind and would cloud the goddesses sight into his mind. Leon's temper scaled quickly, before the vision ended and the planet appeared to still be cracking. His head lowering down and eyes falling shut, Leon bent slightly at the knees while his arms tightened to his sides. In one swift motion he threw his arms out and stood himself up, his head throwing back now as eyes shot open. "I thought I told you to To Leave ME ALONE!" he shouted whilst doing this, the vision shattering as a cloud of black exploded around him. Expanding outward with a cry of rushing winds the trees and bushes all blew backwards, the ground uprooting slightly around him from the force. It was not just a blast though. Leaves turned black and were swept away as ash. The bark and branches petrified and crumbled. All around him a sudden death befell the woodlands leaving just a smokey patch of decay where the blast of cloud and winds reached. There were even the skeletal remains of some poor woodland critters that had helplessly been caught in the wake.
Falling to a single knee Leon caught himself but felt his stomach churn. Vomiting and empty stomach onto the dead ground under him, the sting of acid burnt his throat and left a vile taste in his mouth. "Well... That was a new one..." He whispered lightly to himself while looking upon the destruction he had just caused. Did he feel bad about it? Not at all. He was rather impressed actually. It seemed that there were some things he still remembered within the blur of his fuzzy memories.

[Oh dear...I am thinking that a possible romance is going down the drain at this rate.]
Kariah snarled in frustration and anger. What in heaven's name could zero see in this one?! He just destroyed a large patch of pristine habitat and it's poor creatures and felt not the slightest bit guilty about it. All she saw in him was the former mortal who was now imprisoned in the underworld. Zero was being so ridiculously stubborn and foolish about this whole matter, in fact she hoped that Vyrox punished him heavily for this affair.
That was it, she was done with the small interference. It was clear that this mortal was far too almighty and self absorbed for such things. No she decided that it would be best to meet him face to face.
Suddenly she was surrounded by bright light and her form started to change. Her powerful felineesque body grew slender and shorter. Her front paws grew smaller but her toes grew longer to form fingers as the ones on her back feet grew shorter. She slowly got up to stand solely on her back legs as her center of balance changed to support it. Her feline head grew shorter and smaller as her sharp teeth withered away into human ones. A waterfall of shimmery dark blue hair that fell down her back was one of the last things to appear before the light faded.
Where the great nekomata like goddess once stood was now a lovely young woman. Yet parts of her former body still remained. She still had the beautiful silver blue wings as well as the ears and two tails of the nekomata. Finally, Kariah still retained her intelligent silver cat eyes. The goddess was also wearing a lovely white lacy gown that was lightly decorated with silver thread and white crystals.
Feeling ready for her confrontation with Leon she disappeared from her planet and reappeared a few meters in front of Leon. What might surprise him however was what she did next. She bent down and gently picked up the skeleton of an unfortunate squirrel that was lying at her feet. She looked visibly saddened at the vast loss of life that Leon was responsible for and gently whispered. "So pointless.." She then finally looked at Leon and her sorrow had been replaced with a tired as well as a serious look.
"Why must Zero be so foolish and why must mortals be so blind? Barely have I repaired the damage from one disaster when one of the exact same threatens to destroy yet another world. Leon, why can't you understand that all I wish is to save you and your planet from ruin? I have no desire to force you down any particular path as I don't enjoy meddling in mortal affairs if I can avoid yet. All I wish is for you to avoid one path out of countless other ones. For if you insist on continuing down this road, it will not be just you who suffers, it will be everyone that lives on this planet. Lastly I bear one other warning. Should your choices lead to the destruction of your world, it will not be saved. If I must leave a planet in ruins in order to save several others from the same fate then I shall. I shall leave you to your thoughts, but do not misunderstand. If I must continue to be a thorn in your side for the sake of this world, then I shall do so. The choice is yours. "
She then bent down long enough to bury the squirrel by hand and then disappear. Leon would also notice that all of the skeletons had also buried themselves.
[Fyi, If Leon tries to attack her, then he will be thrown forcefully back by a powerful barrier. Also I imagine that this would be the perfect time for Zero to appear all pissed off at Kariah's world since that's where she went. I already have a delightful response in mind for him should he threaten violence. *mischievous grin*]

With the glimmer of light at her appearance, Leon covered his eyes with an arm in front of his face, lowering it down once the glow had faded. Gazing upon the goddess before him he just shook his head. At least she was here in the flesh now rather than playing games with his head from a distance. It was nice as well to see exactly who seemed so content with screwing with him so early into his arrival on this world. That was the part he was still so bent out of shape over. How is it that he could have just arrived but played such a role in this worlds fate? He had no desires to end the lives of this planet yet here this goddess was trying to steer him down the right path.
"I dont know who you think you are or who you believe you're saving by playing these games with me, but i assure you that if you keep at it this way I will gladly start killing people just in spite of your meddling in my life." Yes, it did appear that Leon could be a spiteful person. What do you expect from someone ripped from the shadowlands where they used to rule all and chaos was life. It was a good thing that Leon's memories were somehow suppressed or nullified. If this were the same tyrant from the shadowlands as before he probably wouldnt have made it this far without slaughtering the life on this world.
Zero:: "How ignorant are you, Kariah? I told you only minutes ago that i dont want anyone speaking of fate to him! You worry about the past repeating itself, yet here you are making the ONE mistake that cost everyone on Volcana their lives. You keep opening your mouth and you're the one who is going to get everyone killed! You Gods and Goddesses are all the same, wrapped up in your own power and desire to keep EVERYTHING in control the way you want it to be! Leave Leon alone to live his life, Kariah! Then we will see the true meaning of fate, and not this false image you and the others try forcing upon everyone!" The infamous gargoyle up atop on of the petrified trees seemed to have appeared from nowhere, somehow managing his weight on the fragile structure without breaking it.
Leon recognized the shape of Zero up in the tree there, back when he had dropped off the bag and swooped down from the cliff. It seemed thanks to Kariah that Leon would be meeting the Gargoyle sooner than expected. "So you must be Zero?" Leon made the obvious observation, just to get the gargoyles attention though. "How about you both shut up and just tell me what the hell is going on!? Im not a play toy for you gods, so what ever games you're playing ends now." Leon standing among the dead patch of forest still looked between the two of them, waiting for an answer.
Zero:: "Go ahead, Kariah. You've already done this much. Lets see if you are willing to break the laws and tell him..." Zero narrowed his eyes upon the goddess. In his fingers he held a small crystal, something that surely any god or goddess would recognize. How did Zero and the other Gargoyles keep gods and goddesses under control? That little crystal, of course. The power to harness and suppress power and thoughts from any of the high beings of the multiverse. A feat only possible by the gargoyles thanks to Vyrox's design.

Kariah didn't seem to be the slightest bit put off by Zero's arrival, instead she calmly turned to face him and replied to him in an equally calm voice. "Someone seems to be putting words into my mouth. Did I tell him what destiny YOU are trying to force him down? No I did not. I merely pointed out the almost guaranteed consequence of it. Was I the one who ripped him from his world and brought him here? No I was not. Was it my idea to attempt to push him down a path that your master already saw the results of? No it was not. How often have I interfered in the affairs of mortals? We both know the answer to that. Almost never, we both know that I prefer to let mortals tend to their own affairs unless my inaction would leave me neglectful of my own job. So your claim that I am too caught up in trying to keep everything in my control is completely groundless. I highly doubt your master would be happy if he knew what you were trying to do since he already believes it to be impossible! If anyone is guilty of trying to control anything here it would be YOU for starting this whole mess in the first place. If you hadn't started this, then I would still be on my planet resting after fixing Volcona."
She then turned to face Leon and said. "The one who is most deserving of your question is the one on the petrified tree. After all he is the one who bent the rules in order to bring you here in the first place. After Zero, you have already bent the laws, surely it shouldn't be that much harder to break what you have already bent? Or perhaps you finally see the foolishness of this business and are ready to send him back to his world? That way we can both stop interfering in his life and get back to our proper jobs."
Oh she hadn't overlooked that crystal, but she also knew that the crystals were very rarely used since the mere sight of one was almost always enough to get a god to back down. Of course they had never been used on her before, in fact this was the first tie she had ever been threatened with it. However, because of this she knew that Vyrox would want to investigate why it had happened which would leave Zero to explain why he was bending his own laws to try and accomplish something Vyrox himself believed to be impossible. She also knew that Zero knew that using the crystal on her would also mean telling on himself.
[I apologize if that last paragraph was me assuming too much, but it makes a lot of sense. Kariah ISN'T one to upset the balance so I can't imagine that crystal ever being used on her in the past. So obviously if something never happened before and was completely out of character for such a well behaved goddess to be subdued, he would want to look into it. It would also make an extremely valid reason for why Zero can't just force her out of the matter entirely which would end the rp.]

(oh, by all means, it makes perfect sense. Fair play indeed! lol)
Hearing the squabble going on between the two beings, Leon was certainly put off by it and feeling that Dreatathisian temper within him starting to boil up. His questions were not being answered and here the two gods were fighting among one another as if they had ownership rights of his life. "No one is going to be forcing me down any path! What ever consequences this world might face i dont care about. This is my life and its my choice what im going to do with it. So, if either of you have a problem with that, you can..."
Fwam!
Leon's words were cut off by a sharp pain to the back of his skull, the gargoyle having moved behind him and placed a palm to the back of his head. It was one hell of a palm strike. The mortal was out cold just like that, falling limp to the dead forest floor. Zero standing over top of him would be holding that same crystal still, only now it was glowing with a strange shimmer radiating off of Leon's unconscious body.
Zero: "Then allow me to explain to you what is going on, this way both of us can stay under the rule of law and keep Vyrox happy. Take a look at this..." Zero would hold up the now glowing crystal before pulling a second one out of the air, each of the two glowing with the same dark purple shimmer. Holding the two closer together a chain would form between them before the two crystals fused into one, making sure Kariah saw every bit of it. "The crystals only effect godlike beings. How do i know Vyrox is wrong and we wont have another incident like on Volcana? The crystals never effected that mortal like they do with him here." Zero held the crystal closer to Leon where the glowing intensified as the energy trapped tried to return to the host. Unable to though the crystal stayed in tact there in Zeros hand. "Send Leon home and stop this? This IS Leon's home. A destiny i am trying to force him down? This WAS his original fate, before the shadow lords abducted him years ago from here. Funny when you dont know what is going on, Kariah. Leon here is a mortal born essence of the Genesis, and if you dont believe me..." He paused and would toss her the crystal. Perfectly safe to the touch now that it already harnessed an essence, surely Kariah would recognize the power inside and that the crystal doesnt lie. It was attached to Leon, and apparently Zero had some sort of strange plan to go about awakening the Dreatathisian to his true path rather that just guiding him along. "...now that you're up to speed, how about i make a deal with you then? If you're so concerned with what will happen to this planet, go ahead and follow Leon along during his life here back home. See to it personally that what he does is natural to his fate and not guided by the gods... You can not discuss anything of his destiny with him! Or this all goes to waste and we Will end up with another Volcana." It did seem that the gargoyle knew what he was talking about after all, now that he wasnt angry and was just talking with Kariah instead. What do you expect from a stubborn ass gargoyle. He's a freaking rock!

Kariah listened to the gargoyle speak and was admittedly interested by how Leon reacted to the crystal. After all, the crystal was never meant to effect mortals. So with this new revelation in mind, she spoke thus. " First it was not a god or one of us who changed his destiny, Be it mortal or shadow lord, they change the destinies of others all the time and it is not our place to alter or prevent this.. However, I will admit that this piece of information about his reaction to the crystal has caught my interest. Very well. I shall agree to your terms on one condition. Should it become clear at any time that Leon is not capable of handling the destiny, that you will immediately deal with him before tragedy repeats itself."
She then lifted her right hand to her wing and pulled out a pinky nail sized iridescent blue scale from her wing. She brought the scale to her lips and kissed it causing it to glow with blue light. She gave both crystal and scale to Zero. "You should know that any promise I seal upon one of of my scales is bound onto me as long as the other party keeps their side of it. If it is agreeable to you, then all you have to do is briefly touch the scale to your mouth and the agreement is sealed."
{I got the idea for this since it would be a promise that is bound to her own body as the scale is a part of her body. Also it is the mouth that make a promise so I included their touch for symbolism. What do you think? Also should he seal the agreement, the scale will glow brighter and will immediately go inside Kariah's body thus enforcing the promise from within.}

Zero: Saw that his words had finally gotten through to the goddess and now they were on a more level ground for negotiating terms. So far it seemed well, listening to Kariah speak and then propose her own terms for the situation at hand. Zero had no room to fight with her though. If he could get her to play along this much then that was good enough for him. Anything that would keep Vyrox off his tail for as long as possible. "Ill take care of him should things fall out of hand. He was born with such potential for a reason. Im not just going to let him sit in the shadowlands and rot because some lord was greedy and kidnapped him because of his race." Zero took the scale from Kariah then, chuckling at the mentioning of touching it to his mouth. Damn gargoyle didnt have one. His mouth area was just a smooth surface of stone leaving his voice to just radiate from the air around him. Regardless, the gesture is what really mattered, touching the scale to the smooth stone and watching it glow. Letting it go to flow back into Kariah he was content enough to leave things as they were now. "Remember... no talking about gods, the genesis, or fate to him. We just have to let him live his life and ascend into his power. When he wakes up he will already have forgotten about meeting us here. Dont screw it up, Kariah." Zero with that took the Crystal that had harnessed Leon's energy and let it vanish into his palm. Flapping up into the air the gargoyle took off then, disappearing into the distance to let things play out from here now that maybe there was some control of the situation.
Leon eventually would wake again, his mind fuzzy like it was before back when he originally woke up. Good thing he had no idea what had just happened. "What... the hell?..." He stirred, his face coming up off the cold dead ground as his eyes fluttered open. Catching the light of the day he winced in pain, rolling onto his side as his eyes readjusted once more. All over again, like waking up from death. "...where am I?..." He was talking to himself mainly, not knowing that Kariah may have still been there.
(The land here is called Taz'Mantithis by the way. Never came up with what the world is called, but thats the continents name)

[Thanks for the info.]
Kariah was pleased to see that Zero had agreed to her condition and watched as he disappeared. She then was content to wait for Leon to wake up though he wouldn't know she was there when he did as she had gone completely invisible to all of his senses.
It was then that something...odd happened. Her silver eyes glazed over and the non-human parts of her body were enveloped in white light as they faded away. Her gown became a bit torn and dirty as if she had been running through the woods. Finally her silver eyes turned from feline to human and she became completely visible to the mortal world.
Then while her eyes lost the glaze to look like normal silver eyes, Kariah was still not the one in control of her body. Once Leon woke up, she approached him and said. "Excuse me? Do you know where we are? I was attacked by bandits while I was traveling to my grandfather's to celebrate his 60th birthday. My manservant ordered me to flee and I became hopelessly lost...Oh please forgive me for rambling on like that, where are my manners? My name is Retsuya Clyris."
She then curtsied to him and it was only then that Kariah awoke and became aware of what had happened. Completely dumbfounded as to why this had happened, she decided that she had no choice, as she had already promised not to interfere and altering his memory would be interference. On the outside she appeared perfectly calm not letting her great confusion appear at all.
[First off, I had a difficult time trying to figure out how to push Kariah closer to Leon since it would be boring if she was just a mere observer. So I came up with a cracked, but plausible idea. I decided that a future alternate version of Kariah had decided to play match maker since she had gotten together with Leon and wanted to help her past alternate self. So she possessed her other self and forced her into this predicament. It would also give an out should a romance not form at all. It also appears that i called it way too early then I said the possible romance was going down the drain. You'll have to forgive me there as I don't have much practice when it comes to rping with gods.
Moving on, I had a rather interesting idea for far off in the future. It's just an idea so feel free to veto it. I was thinking that if Leon and Kariah do get into a romantic relationship, that sometime during it, Leon gets his memory back about Kariah and Zero screwing with him. He gets pissed off at Kariah and they have a huge blow out. Meanwhile, the godling from before has escaped, managed to ambush a gargoyle and stole a very powerful crystal. He uses the crystal to beat up and even kills some gods leaving Kariah to heal them. However the godling caught wind of Leon's and Kariah's relationship, so he uses the crystal to kidnap her while she was tending to the other gods. The reason for this is he wants to spite his replacement. Leon hears what happened, realizes that he has been an idiot and goes to rescue her. Meanwhile the godling can do what he wants to her as long as he doesn't kill her or or do something that turns this into a rated R thread. Meanwhile I will post as a snarky Kariah occasionally, but I will also post as a powerful general that the evil godling got for himself. Oh and Kariah also realizes that she had been a moron during that blown out too. xD
Wow that was long, but what do you think?]

Still in the process of pushing himself up out of the dirt, Leon coughed to clear his throat of the dust and ash he had inhaled while laying there unconscious on the dead forest floor. With the sound of some prim and proper voice speaking to him he managed to squint an eye open, looking at the tattered and worn clothes of the woman before him speaking to him. Able to sit up onto his rear he placed a hand to his face and rubbed his eyes, still adjusting all over again, though he had no idea that this was all happening again. "Lady... Retsuya... who ever you are... Do I Look like im in any condition to be giving out information?" He managed to open his eyes some, shooting her a stare that sort of screamed 'duh', just so that she might see his point.
"I dont see any bandits so i guess you can relax..." Leon eventually pushed himself up onto his feet, brushing the mess of dirt and ash off his clothes once he was standing. His head spun a bit but not as bad as the first time. This was just a short KO unlike the first time Zero brought him here to Taz'Mantithis. "What world is this? Im not from around here..." Leon looked around, having no shame in announcing that he was from an alternate realm. Even though this woman before him seemed lost and confused, surely she knew what world they were on. Not that it really mattered. Leon had no idea what was going on. He would just have to make it up as he went along.
(Lol, it sounds pretty good. Having a direction would probably help keep things in line as we keep going. The idea sounds like it works, so we will play with it more once that time comes along. As for the content as we keep going, if we have to we can switch rooms and just label the forum as rated M, that way we can do what ever and wont get in trouble for it haha.)

{I am pretty sure it doesn't work like that, I think in the forums the max it can be is pg-13.}
Kariah was luckily a quick thinker which she knew was going to be important in this charade. She shrugged her shoulders at his question to her before replying with. "Well it's not like there is anyone else to ask. While I don't know why you are in that condition, there was still a chance, albeit a small one that you might know this area. Besides, at this point what did I have to lose by asking you? Even if you chose to kill me, it would be a swifter end then dying from eating something poisonous, starving or being killed by predators.
Kariah then realized that she felt rather self conscious about the way she looked right now. She almost never took on a complete human form before and it had been millennium since she had last done so. She didn't let herself dwell on that for long as Leon had asked her another question. Recognizing that what he had said would probably sound a bit crazy to a normal mortal, she tilted her head a bit in confusion before replying. "Not what this world....? This is Taz'Mantithis, tho I obviously can't give you any more then that as I am lost as well. It's like the blind leading the blind as some might say."
As this time, the sun was hanging low in the sky and it would be dark soon. This unfortunately meant that dangerous nocturnal predators would soon show up. Now normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but Leon had been bashed by zero at least twice in one day now as well as having a crystal used on him, so he obviously wasn't in the best condition for fighting powerful predators. She still thought that he would likely win any encounter, but it as a risk that really shouldn't be taken. After all, it would be a poor ending if he got overpowered by a predator on day one. So even though she wanted to find a way out of this mess, it was really in her best interest to play as "Lady Retsyuah" a bit longer.
So with this in mind she said. "It's getting late and there are sre to be a lot of dangerous nocturnal predators around her. I happened to find a cave a little ways back. Maybe we should take shelter in it until daybreak." While this idea would keep him safe until he could recover, there was a chance that he would be too stubborn to admit his own temporary weakness.

(Yeah, i had a conversation with Loki about it earlier. If we made a group and labeled it rated M, that would be fine. Otherwise it has to be private. Oh well, cross the bridge when it comes lol)
Did she make a point with her words? Yeah, a bit. To Leon though it was still a very silly reasoning. Natural instinct promoted an urge to survive, not get yourself killed of faster. Everyone had their own twists though, so he just figured that maybe she was a little crazy. Not that it mattered. If thats all someone thought of you then you must have been doing pretty good. What did people think of Leon? That would be an interesting one to hear about later! Leon just finished dusting himself off though, taking in a slow breath and letting it out even slower, trying to refocus though this blur of fuzz in his head. "Taz'Mantithis... I know that name..." He pondered the thought, trying to dig something up but unable to find anything.
With the mentioning of nightfall and a local cave, Leon looked around and then back to the woman before him, eying her up and down before nodding his head. "Yeah, i guess so. Lets go..." He gave a light smirk to her, his eyes weak and obviously showing his physical exhaustion. Well, he wasnt as much of an ass as originally thought perhaps. Miss Retsyuah here appeared to be as lost as he was, but in Leon's case he knew he could at least handle himself. If this girl was as prim and proper as she made herself look as of now then he had no faith in her ability to survive out here. A reasonable moral to protect her? It seemed that way, didnt it? Maybe there was hope in Leon yet now that his head was starting to slowly straighten out and he wasnt being nagged around by gods.

[Have any ideas of where this should go now? I don't really have anything at the moment.]
(We could jump scenes and go further into the future if you'd like. Doesn't matter to me)
{Hmm, how about we skip to the next morning. The two of them end up having the rotten luck to run into a military scientific convoy. One of the scientists in it is intrigued by Leon's eyes and the men are ordered to catch him for dissection. At the same time, the men like the idea of having a woman "around" if you know what I mean. Leon ends up "protecting" Kariah and himself. However the scientist attempts to shoot leon with a coma inducing dart. but Kariah sees this, manages to intercept the dart and then fakes being in a coma since it would raise questions if the drug had no effect on her. Meanwhile this whole thing plants a seed for the relationship for the two of them. Leon is struck by her taking a blow for him and Kariah is pleasantly surprised by his willingness to protect her.}
