(Sounds like way too much planning lol. Sorry, I'm just not a fan at plotting things out so directly. I don't know how you want to proceed but all the planning sort of kills my buzz towards the rp. I tend to just go with the flow of things usually but I'm not picking too much of that up right now.)
[Oh I see, I didn't know. I'm just a bit reluctant to do something spontaneous without my partner's permission because I don't want to make it seem like I am controlling the rp.]
(Lol it's all good. My author profile actually has my rping info in it. But yeah, I think of RPs as you would expect real life to be. Can't just plan everything. Never know what's going to happen. So on so forth. I like when all players bring something to the rp that make it unique)
[All right, tho if I do post something that you don't like. Please let me know.]
Kariah led him to a cave that she happened to know was in the area. It was a bit of a ways off so the death from Leon's earlier outburst had been left behind. The goddess knew that the area would eventually grow back since she had secretly removed most of the harmful energy which would allow for the area to heal itself with time.
It took them about a half hour to make it to the cav, by at which time was sun had set even lower into the sky. The entrance of the cave was covered with hanging moss which helped to show how little in had been disturbed. "I checked it out earlier and I didn't see any obvious signs of animal activity like tracks and dung. Of course, I'm not very experienced at this sort of thing so I could have missed something."
Yet she seemed confident enough as she entered the cave before him and started moving some rocks around in the back to make a smoother and more comfortable patch of earth. It was an action that would at least show him that she wasn't going to act like a spoiled princess on him despite her once nice clothing and proper manners. It seemed that the Retsyuah girl had at least some sense when it came to the situation. Tho how much comfort it would be to the Dreatathisian hybrid was unknown.

As they traveled it would be seen upon Leon's features that he was physically and mentally exhausted. What ever had happened to him to land him here in this world had obviously taken its toll, the hybrid nearly slugging along as they traveled to the cave Kariah had spotted during her retreat from the bandits. When they arrived however Leon seemed to have no issue with pushing on and entering the cave regardless of risk of animal life within. He brushed the moss aside and stepped in, his eyes quickly adjusting to the low light conditions. By adjust, it was more like immediately seeing the inner depths of the cave crystal clear regardless of lighting conditions. Those odd eyes of his certainly had some sort of trait to them that was helping. "Its clear..." He reassured Kariah's guess, seeing no signs of life around or traces of it being there for some time.
Watching her rearrange some of the stones and such, it was nice to know he wouldnt have to be pampering some princess along the way. He wasnt just going to ditch her in the woods for that would be wrong. For some reason he had some sort of strange moral guidance though his personality suggested a dark persona. Probably something you wouldnt want to complain about though. "If things on this world are how they should be then nothing will be disturbing us tonight..." Leon found himself a spot off to the side of the cave, the rocks forming a shallow groove for him to hop up into and cradle back against. It rolled his back into a comfortable arch to lay in, stripping off his cloak and shirt, tucking them in next to him. He would be in just his pants and that was it, those golden hues of his even with the lack of light still noticeable in the dark of the cave. He clearly had no desire to make a fire or anything. What did he mean though by 'if the world was how it should be?' Well, if Kariah knew a thing or two about the Dreatathisian's, that would be a good enough start to know that they were once upon a time the most feared predators in the land. No one would know for sure though if other wildlife still recognized the scent or presence of one of these ancient beings now a day though. "Do you need anything for tonight, or are you content with just being able to sleep? I really need to rest..." He would ask her before trying to actually clock out for the night, his voice within the shadows strangely soothing to the ears. Almost natural, as if his voice was what darkness's voice would be if it had one.

Kariah wasn't surprised by his entering the cave regardless of risk, in fact she would have been surprised if he hadn't. She had actually known that the cave was empty since she still retained her godly senses, but she had to play the part of an ordinary human who wouldn't have known that. "Well you're pretty brave huh...oh wait, I don't think you ever told me your name, so is there anything that I should call you?"
Kariah had almost messed up there and said Leon even tho "Lady Retsuyah" couldn't have known his name. Luckily she had managed to pause mid-sentence before any incriminating sounds were made. It had been a luck time since she had last gone undercover and it was clear that time had made her rusty when it came to this sort of thing. So with that near fatal mistake in mind, she chose her next words very carefully. "As they should be? Huh? Did you read about my world from where you came from somehow?" There that was a reasonable and plausible question to what he had said.
Then as she finished preparing a place to sleep, he asked her a question. “Well, do you have a knife I could borrow? I would like to cut off some of this skirt so I could move easier. I’m afraid they just don’t make gowns with mobility in mind.” At the moment she really wished she could use her claws, but knew that it was completely out of the question.

Leon hadnt been paying full attention when she mentioned him being brave, or when she was asking for his name. He had caught the tail end of the question, turning to give her a light gaze from over his shoulder with a puzzled expression. "Huh?..oh... its... Leon..." His voice was soft, putting together what she was asking and giving as simple as an answer as it came. He looked away then, walking into the cave and continuing all he was. The exhaustion was clear but so long as there was anything to do or take care of before actually settling though he would try to see to it.
He didnt know anything specifically about this world, but the nature of the world he did know implied that any and all were fearful of his race. The Dreatathisian was a species long forgotten by most but still very powerful in the mind of those who remember. If this world was like any other would be in regards to his presence then yes, they would be safe indeed in the cave from wildlife that dared to wander inside. "I know nothing about this place. Most creatures learn very quickly though to keep their distance..." He didnt share exactly what he meant by that. His blood was something that he didnt discuss very openly at all. Most suspected his eyes to be from that shadowy power he obviously possessed, so no questions were further asked of them usually. "Not a knife, but something similar..." He hopped down from the rock ledge he was resting upon, walking over to her. His hand hung at his side and had a noticeably sharp set of nails to them, black and shadowy almost. Not quite like that before a few moments ago if she had noticed. "Just tell me where to cut..." He took a knee down next to her, taking a look at the fabric.

Kariah decided to let him remain vague about why creatures would want to keep their distance. After all, she already knew the answer so there was nothing to gain by pushing him further. So she made it clear that she wasn't going to ask any more about it. "Umm ok, I'll just take your word for it..."
When he offered to cut her dress with his newly acquired claws, she traced a line along the gown about 3/4s of a foot above where the ragged end was. She then traced a line a bit past her knee on each side of her to make a slit to further improve her mobility. As she showed him where to cut she said. "I could have sworn that you didn't have claws...well it has been a traumatic time for me...maybe I overlooked them..." Yet she didn't sound quite convinced with her words which was understandable.
When he moved his hands to cut the cloth a bit past the knee, she blushed and shyly said. "My apologiezes, I'm just not used to men touching me that....high up. " Then in an attempt to change the topic she said. "Do you think it would be a good idea to cut the cloth into strips for use as wet rags or bandages. My grandfather said that he once had to cut up an old blanket to use as bandages after he had been left lost and wounded on the battlefield after a large battle."

Leon didnt mean to be so vague and lackluster with his response. He was honestly just tired and his head was still a blur. After a night of sleep he would surely be in better shape than he was now. He was still perfectly content with helping Kariah out here with her mobility problem though. "Everyone has their gifts. Some more unique than others..." He started talking with her as he watched the areas she pointed out. Beginning to cut into the fabric his nails slid through with ease, hardly snagging and not making a single ripping noise as each strand of fiber was finely sliced rather than torn. "Ill tell you about everything tomorrow after i rest. Im not exactly human, and i dont remember this world... so i guess i need someone to know a bit about me. Might help in the long run..." He smirked lightly, shaking his head as his hands trailed up her dress. He had to be under it to cut how he was instructed, his hand brushing her thigh lightly before starting into the fabric again. It was unintentional, but he did see her blush and hear how she reacted. "Sorry. Just dont think about it as me touching you." He reassured her in a sense, finishing with his cuts.
After finishing Leon had stood back up, the loose fabric he had cut off her dress in his hand. Her suggestion about cutting up some rags wasnt a bad idea. It never hurt to have a rag on hand. As simple as they usually were it was mostly useful in the end. "Yeah, they wouldnt hurt." He nodded, beginning to slit the fabrics apart then into strips or hand sized segments. Once he was finished he sat the rags down next to her, his fingers rolling up into a fist before relaxing again. Just like that the nails were gone, his hand looking perfectly normal. Those eyes of his never changed though. "Need anything else, or are you ready to get some sleep?" He would hop back up onto his perch, toss golden hues of his staring right through the dark of the cave at her. They were ominous, but at the same time, like his voice was, almost soothing and natural to be here in the shadows.

Retsyuah listened silently and then nodded before saying. "Everyone needs someone to confide in. For me it was my maid... but she's gone now. I could be your confidant and you could be mine." That wasn't actually a complete lie as Kariah did have a maid confident once. Of course the maid hadn't been hers as she had no need of one, but she sometimes visited this one when her work permitted it. That maid had been one of the very very few who hadn't demanded that she use her powers for her benefit. Of course the maid had died a long time ago since mortals simply didn't live very long and she knew better then to interfere with the woman's soul aside from making sure it arrived to the underworld safely where it would meet judgment. She also wasn't lying about her willingness to be his confidant, but she did lie about allowing him to be her's. After all, she wasn't about to talk about godly matters since that would ruin the test.
Kariah then managed to ease her blushing which had also been real as she had never allowed anyone to touch her in an intimate human place before. She had never seen the need for such touching to occur before after all. After he finished turning the cut cloth into more useful things, she said. "No, let's get some sleep as we are going to need it....and thank you."
She then rolled over and made a show of trying to get comfortable before slowly allowing herself to fall asleep. After all it wouldn't make much sense for a prim girl to easily fall asleep in such condition. Now even tho her body was asleep, her mind was very much awake and thinking over the day's events. She would also instantly awake should even the slightest threat come her way.

The idea of confiding in someone seemed strange to Leon. It sounded weak, though logically he knew it was no such thing. Mental release was important and well needed to many people. Call it pride though that kept him from talking about himself that much. Once back up and cradled into his perch, Leon let his black and gold eyes close shut, hearing Kariah's words about being each others confident. "...we'll see..." He spoke lightly. Clearly he had a lot of social issues. The whole 'mr.dark man' thing wasnt just an act like it was for most people in some strange attempt to be cool. Leon seriously had some issues! It would all be told with time though if others found out about them openly.
"...your welcome."
Nothing more was said other than those last two words from Leon. That night he fell asleep rather quickly as his body was more willing to give up than his mind was. He needed the rest and took it as soon as it was clear it was time to sleep. The night passing, the stars above fading, the sun rising. A full undisturbed cycle perhaps? Leon wouldnt know personally until he woke up some odd time later. How late into the day had he slept? He had no idea. Perhaps he had been asleep for days, letting his body recuperate. Highly doubtful though. Waking up was easy, those dark eyes snapping open almost instantly, not having to adjust and clear out some morning haze like most people had after sleeping. Swinging his legs off from the perch he dropped down to the cavern floor below him and took a look around. Stretching after being standing the sound of popping joins filled the cavern, his body stiff but loosening up after resting and feeling much better now actually. He would look to Kariah then if she were still there in the cave. "Morning..." He greeted her, if she was awake.

Kariah had heard his words, but didn't reply as she was sleeping and didn't want to reveal that she could hear him despite it. The night then went by without incident and she was the first to wake from sleep by around an hour.
Rather then just stay in the cave and wait for Leon to wake up, she went outside to do something productive instead. As she walked, she was careful to mark the trees in some way to leave a trail for her to follow back. Some skewered leaves, broken branches placed at odd angles, peeled bark to name a few of the things she did. She didn't actually need a trail to follow back as there was no risk of her getting lost, but it would look suspicious if she was able to find her way back without such things.
The goddess managed to find a bunch of edible berries with no trouble, but was careful to pick some mildly poisonous ones since Leon would likely be suspicious if she had complete success with such foraging. She then managed to return to the cave and sort the berries just in time for Leon to wake up. "Good morning, I managed to find some berries...not sure if they are all edible though since I had to go by memory. so I guess the best thing to do would only eat one berry at a time till we figure out which ones are safe to eat."
Kariah then deliberately picked up one of the poisonous ones with the intention of eating it and then pretending to be a bit sick a little afterwards since the thing wouldn't actually make her sick. It was to be yet another show put on for Leon's benefit.
[She'll start making mistakes once their relationship has developed a bit. You know, people do stupid things when they are in love.]

It was probably a good thing that Leon didnt know about the ruse that was going on here. If he knew he was being led along by some goddess just pretending to be part of humanity he wouldnt have the best of reactions to it. With the return of Kariah and the display of berries though he listened to her rather foolish idea of testing out berries. When she went to eat one he did nothing to stop her. The display of her being sick was mostly what he was looking for, shaking his head at her 'illness.' "With an approach like that you'll get yourself killed out here. Besides... there's a difference between what is poisonous to you and me..." Disregarding the goddess factor, there was a difference between Leon and Regular Humans in regards to poison. Reaching down he plucked up a few of the berries, taking out all the poisonous ones and sorting them into his other hand. Was he familiar with the worlds plants and such? No, but his instincts were still good enough to be able to tell the safety of natural substances. "Here... before you puke all over the place..." He sat all the safe berries back down for her, popping a few of the poisonous ones into his own mouth and eating them. It wouldnt be without any effect, but after a slight churn of his stomach from the toxins in the berries he was completely fine, his body adjusting to what he was eating leaving him able to eat the rest of them with no issue.
"What direction are we going to travel in? I dont know the land, so your guess would be better than mine..." Leon walked towards the mouth of the cave and leaned against the stone wall, eating a few more of the berries there in his hand. After sleeping he had forgotten about the fact that he told Kariah he would explain a bit about himself to her. He was just more concerned with figuring out this world at the moment. If she asked him though he would probably remember. "We should probably find some water too..." He added on, gazing across the forest ahead of him there outside the cave. He had not a clue where to begin, let alone what sort of world this was outside of the woodlands. It was certainly going to be a long and interesting road ahead of them.

Kariah turned a little green and then laid down making it clear that she had managed to poison herself. She did however manage to speak. "Well I don't have any experience in roughing it out in the wilderness, so what can you expect?" She then gave a sickly laugh and said. "Oh if my grandfather could see me right now he would be rolling his eyes and having a right fit. He'd first give me a scolding that I would never forget before finally teaching me how to not make that mistake again. Luckily I only ate one and I have felt worse so I should be ok."
Kariah did remember what Leon said he would do in the morning, but decided it would be best to wait until she was "well" before asking about it. Instead when he mentioned water, she said. "Well at the farthest I went while looking for food, I think I heard a river. I didn't investigate because I didn't want to go too far from the cave alone. As for the direction well, I heard that if you follow a river, you will eventually find civilization. Tho perhaps we should gather what supplies we can before setting out. After all, we don't know what is beyond the woodland."

(Sorry for such a delay. RL called and I haven't been focusing on rp much lol)
Looking at her Leon gave a light squint of his eyes at her sickly appearance. She seemed almost too relaxed with the idea that she just poisoned herself. Here she was telling him she had no woodland experience but still managed to handle poisonous foods with a rather positive manner. Most people would probably be panicking over the risk of death after all. He chose not to say anything about it though, looking back out the mouth of the cave and into he woods. He would quell his suspicion of her for now. Leon was lacking memories, not his common intelligence. He knew well that others with power like himself existed. This woman here though had managed well to give a human impression on him though, and that was probably saving her from disturbing any of Leon's inner hatred that boiled beneath the surface. Painfully complicated creatures the Dreatathians were. Leon being the first human mix as well, that just twisted everything.
"I would have thought you know what's outside of these woods?" Her words confused him now. If she lives here then she would have never claimed to have been lost and helpless, or lacking woodland ability. If she didn't know what was outside of the woods then where did she come from? His arms down at his side, Leon half turned to face Kariah, the angle hiding one of his hands which now had his claws formed back upon his fingertips. He made no move towards her but there was a slight discomfort building within him about this 'helpless' female. "Care to clarify for me?... I'm a bit lost on where you're from..." There was certainly a static in the air around them, the tension high as those ominous eyes of his rested upon the 'sickly' Kariah.
(There we go. Add some tension to it lol)

Kariah could sense that he was getting suspicious of her, but she wasn't too worried as she had a few cards left to play. She slowly allowed her body to regain it's "health" since her poisoning would have been minor since she had only eaten one berry.
When her turned to question her, she had an answer all ready for him. "I'm a lady. Do you really think nobles would waste their time educating their daughters when they will be married off to powerful men for the good of the family? Why would a lady need an education when her most important job to to bear sons for her husband. She doesn't need an education for that. Women are taught how to make pretty things, look pretty and be loyal to their men. I was never taught what was outside the walls of Ingara, nor do I even know the name of this forest. I would like to know more about the world around me, but I never really had much of a chance to do so." There was some anger in her voice, but it wasn't directed at Leon, instead it was directed more to herself, but she didn't look like she wanted any pity which was probably a good thing. The anger however wasn't fake as she was frustrated with herself for even getting into such a ridiculous situation in the first place. Despite the rant, she had chosen the city name with care, Ingara was a healthy city with a large wall and a relatively large noble population.
Kariah took a deep breath and then spoke in a much calmer voice. "Sorry for that little rant, it's just that I am worried about dying out here, but I also know that freaking out about it isn't going to help in the slightest. I wish that I had an idea of what to do out here, but I don't. I am trying to be calm about this whole mess, but it's not the easiest thing to do."
Maybe his suspicion was justified, maybe it wasnt. Who knew? Leon was a strange creature and the nature of the Dreatathisian would be enough to justify any actions really. Any mood swings, angry lash outs, violent behaviors, and the solitary nature could all be attributed towards that one species within him. "...I guess its all just weird to me... all the ladies i have ever met would have put me on my ass by now and have tried to remove my head from my shoulders... maybe its just a difference in culture..." He was speaking more of other Dreatathisian's, not culture. She wouldnt know that though, if she were just human, but he didnt know that. This was one hell of a twisted loop!
"Dont apologize. Everyone is entitled to their feelings. Its the one thing anyone has that make them different from others. Without them you're nothing but an empty shell of what others try to make of you..." He had a number of philosophical thoughts up in that head of his. If only she knew the truth behind what he just said though. Before Zero ripped Leon to this world here, Leon was a Tyrant of the Shadow realms. He enslaved souls, stripped them of their self's, and turned everything in the land into the hollow remnants he wished to see. With this new mind he seemed to have since he got to this world though things were different for him. There was possibly hope for him! Something which Zero had claimed to have seen. "We should get moving... are you ready to go?" He asked her, still standing at the mouth of the cave, looking back at her now as he waited.

Kariah knew what Leon meant when he said "culture." However she wasn't about to reveal that she knew that since there was no way for a human to know that. Heck twisted loop was an understatement when it came to this mess. Instead she said, ".....you must have met some really aggressive ladies then. I haven't ever met a lady like that." Yet another lie, as there were a couple female gods that were like this....unfortunately. No one really liked having to deal with them either, so that job was often forced onto the gargoyles, something that probably only made the rift between the two even worse.
As to his talk about feelings, she said. "That may be true, but men seem to prefer their women to be empty shells that don't think for themselves. They are supposed to let the men do all the thinking and make all the decisions. It's very frustrating, but actually talking about it only makes things worse, so I guess the bottle broke on you."
Kariah then got up and brushed her skirt free of loose dirt before saying. "I'm feeling better now, so yes I'm ready to go. Here, I'll show you where I heard the water." With that she took the lead.
