"I'm gonna go out and wander," Alesana called over her shoulder as she stepped halfway out the door.
"Answer your phone!" her mom replied, nodding in her direction.
Sana shut the door gently and lifted herself to her toes, breathing deeply the evening air as she lifted her face to the sky and closed her eyes. She allowed herself a small smile. The air was slightly salty. Alesana and her parents were here, in this ocean-side city, for vacation, and she wasn't about to spend all her time at home.
She pulled her over-sized sweater closer around herself in attempt to ward off the chill of the humid air, glancing down at the ground. Patches of sand were at the edges of the path. With a quick laugh, she jumped forward and began to skip down the street, heading for the boardwalk.

Jordan sat on the bench facing the ocean as he joked around with his friends on the boardwalk, every moment he had he spent it working so this was the best time in a long time he was having with them.
"Dude seriously you have to call her, she wouldn't have given you her number if she didn't like you" Nick said to Jordan as the rest of his friends nodded.
Jordan looks at the time on his phone before jumping off the bench "Yea well from what I hear she likes a lot of guys we go to school with and excuse if I don't want to join the club" he says looking at Nick then at the ocean "Either way I have to have a life to have a girl and since I work non-stop that's never going to happen. Now I'll see you idiots tomorrow"
Jordan walks off waving his hand as he heads down the boardwalk "Be safe man, see later" Nick said thinking about how there neighborhood is. Walking down the boardwalk Jordan closes his eyes feeling the ocean air hit his face it was almost as if it was absent from his life until now, opening his eyes he sees a girl walking across the street making him stop dead in his tracks.

Gracefully, she skipped over a crack in the sidewalk and spun through the air, landing lightly on the pavement. She allowed herself a soft giggle, feeling silly and enjoying the sensation. She felt like a child again, a playful smile playing on her lips as she paused at an intersection. She looked up at the signs, then turned to cross the street on the tip of her left toe, imagining herself a ballerina.
She glanced at the opposite side of the street, and found a dark haired guy about her age looking in her direction.
Her smile turned uncertain and she faltered. Is he looking at me? she wondered. Sure that he wasn't she, glanced to her left and right, and did a quick 360 on her toe.
She was alone. Either he was focused on an aspect of a building, or he was looking at her, and somehow she doubted that the bland buildings would hold his gaze for so long.
The crossing light above changed to the white walking man, and she started her way across, less flamboyant now.
Her eyes never left the rather handsome boy, and once she alighted on the sidewalk across the street, she came to a stop.

Jordan continued to stare smiling at the girl as she did almost every ballerina move that was ever made only to see her stop just across the street from him staring him down. Snapping out of it he realizes that he was staring at her the entire time like some kind of stalker, after snapping out of his trance Jordan takes a deep breath and walks across the street towards the girl seeing her get cuter and cuter the closer he got.
Walking pass her trying not to seem like a freak he turns around steps just a couple of inches in front of her "I'm sorry I don't want to seem like a nut job or anything for that crazy glare I was giving you but I have never seen you around here, did you just move here" he said while smiling almost ear to ear.

Sana watches him walk over, curiosity growing. As he stops on front of her, she takes a surprised step back, letting out a soft gasp. Her breath hitches in her throat as he turns, his face only inches away. Damn.... she thinks, glancing over his features, blushing faint at his proximity.
She laughs softly at his words, offering him a warm smile, his voice falling pleasantly on her ears. "You're fine, no worries!" She flashes him a toothy smile. "Yup! We just finished unpacking today!"

Jordan exhales a sign of relief hearing those words come out of her mouth while also thinking how her voice was almost as beautiful as she is. Looking int her eyes he stops himself from getting into the trance again "You just moved here and your already roaming around at night in a unfamiliar place?, that's a little bold don't ya think I mean every new place is nice on the outside, but there's always something worst on the inside...trust me"
She raises an eyebrow curiously. It couldn't be too bad. Besides, she wasn't going out that far. "It's not yet dark," she comments, raising an eyebrow. "This doesn't look like such a bad place."
After a moment's hesitation, she adds, "and why should I trust you?", a playful smirk on her lips.
Now that he had voiced the warning, the doubts formed in her mind. Even though she was only here in this town for vacation, she could probably still find a way to get in trouble. And home wasn't even that far away, so it could follow her, if it really was that bad. Maybe he's right. .. she ponders. Keeping the smirk on her face, she tugs at her left sleeve. It was her nervous habit, the way some people bite their nails or twirl their hair.

Jordan smirk when he hears the question "Your right you just meet me and for all you know I'm the worst thing that's wrong with this place, but I can promise I'm not if that makes you feel better" he said smiling seeing the caution take over he face. Looking around Jordan could see that she was right the sun was still up a little and the best way to get someone to trust you was for them to get to know you.
"Alright how about I show you the best thing about this place, why once someone sees it they never want to leave" Jordon said backing away from her as he headed in the middle of the straight to croos to the other side "By the way my names Jordan Ash, but my friends just call me Ash"

She laughed at the remark. "If you're the worst, it can't be a bad place!"
The blonde girl fell in step behind him, watching him curiously. What was so great about this place? She'd visited many times, but never found anything especially interesting about it. Except maybe you, she commented to herself.
"Show the way, then, Ash!" she finally said, skipping forward a step so she was walking beside him. "My name's Alesana... or Sana, for short. Nice to meet cha!"

As Jordon cross the street with Sana next to him he walks near her, I thought the best part of this place was the ocean, until now he thought glancing every now and then Sanas way. Walking down the boardwalk Jordon starts walking backwards in order to have a conversation with Sana "So if you just got here and since its summer I'm guessing your here on vacation so what are you doing out here, I thought vacations were a time for families to get closer or something"
Walking beside him, she could hear the faint wash of the water against the sand on the nearby beach. The soft, repetitive sound lulled her into a sort of trance, freeing her mind to wander. Occasionally, she glanced over at Ash.
His speech made her jump slightly as she walked. Alesana hadn't expected him to speak. She raised an eyebrow at his manner of walking, but nodded along with his words.
"Yeah, we're here for vacation." She shrugged in response to his question. "Maybe, but I do like to be alone sometimes... and parents can be a bore, you know?" She flashed him a quick, slightly nervous smile. Their family vacations were never about bonding. It was more about her parents getting to rest and sleep. Sana was usually left to her own devices.
"You might wanna be careful, you know. You could crash into something..."

Jordan falls back on to the boardwalk floor slipping on something he thought was only done in the movies, a banana peel "Never thought I would see the day someone falls from a banana peel and especially never thought it would be me" he said laughing while standing back up "That was kind of your fault by the way you could have told me"
Continuing the walk down the boardwalk Jordan walks beside Sana "You mentioned parents, yea I kind of get where your coming from with that except I have a parent not parents, my dads been outta the picture for awhile but my moms can be just as boring as the two parents" he said smiling "Even though she is boring at times she taught me how to spot a nice girl"

Sana burst out laughing at his fall, stopping as she doubled over. "I didn't see it!" She protests as he get up, sticking her tongue out at him. "Should'a been walking in the right direction!"
She frowns slightly as he tells her about his family, biting her lip gently. That really sucks... I can't imagine growing up without dad... , she thought.
At his last words, she blushes, too flustered to form any kind of intelligible words, even those that were just in her mind.

Watching her blush Jordan smiles again like he did when first spoke to Sana, it was ear to ear. Seeing the sun about to set on the ocean he looks down the boardwalk to see that they were almost there but they would have to move a little faster if they wanted to see it better, "We're going to have to move a little faster so I'm going to grab your hand" Jordan says grabbing Sanas hand and pulling her towards an abandon building on the water.
As Jordan opens the factory doors making sure no one saw them he closes the moment they were both in "This place use to be a waterworks factory they closed it down couple years back so I use this as a place to get away...just stay close" he says heading up the stairs hearing Sana behind him. Heading into the old bosses office Jordan grabs Sanas hand and gently places her to a couch in the middle of the room "Alright people think that the best place to see a sunset is on the pier but that's crap" he said pulling the sheet off the giant window reviling the sunset with almost every color you could imagine coming off of it "This....is where to watch the sunset"

She blinked, letting out a soft squeak as Ash took her hand, stumbling slightly at first as she matched his pace. She let him lead, barely glancing to the sides, still managing to notice that this wasn't the best side of town. she gripped his hand a little tighter, feeling slightly scared.
She raised an eyebrow curiously as he told her about the place. "It seems like a great place for it." She falls lightly on the couch, coughing as dust puffed up. As Ash opened the curtain, her breath catching in her throat. She raised her hand, placing it on her chest, amazed by the sight. "I-it's beautiful," she gasped.

Jordan looks at the sunset even though hes seen it a least a hundred times it was always beautiful each time he saw it. Sitting near Sana on the couch he stares at her seeing how she can barley take her eyes off the sunset herself "Told you, this is the only thing that keeps people coming back for more" he says smiling at her ass he sees her blush.
"So....you already know I really like you and the way my life is right now I have no idea when I'll e seeing you again so, can I see you again?" Jordan says waiting for her answer as his heart started beating more and more.

She nods, a blissful smile on her lips. I could stay here... just for this, she mused, convinced she could stay for the Sunsets. It really was absolutely beautiful.
His sudden words took her by surprise, and she was so shocked that she missed everything he said after. She sat there, speechless, for a bit, unable to believe what he was saying. "Y-you like me?" she asked finally, tearing her startled gaze away from the sunset and transferring it to him.
