Many of my favourites have already made this list but I would like to add:

- The Shop Around The Corner (the original version of You've Got Mail)

- Bringing Up Baby (for a healthy dose of shenanigans with your romance)

- Blind Date (2015) A French film that is worth watching even for those who hate romantic movies. It is as much a commentary on social structures and expectations as it is a love story.
