There are certain kids with extraordinary abilities and powers. However, these Kids have been put in wars when they turn 8. One kid has been reportedly gone missing, with the Ability to 'Overwrite.' However, when you find said kid in the worse part of the small town, with his eyes pleading for him not to get caught and bleeding out. However, once you learn that the kid has been treated as a weapon. It's then up to you to see if you can find the humanity in the kid and if you can stop the cycle.However there are multiple obstacles in this journey.
Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.
Iron age
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
Romance is desired but not required, and will balance evenly with other plot.
