Tyron cursed as he slammed his fist onto the desk, making his officers slightly recoil. They'd never seen him so upset. "They want me to do WHAT?"
The messenger however, didn't recoil. "The Etharan empire needs you to assault and occupy the planet known as Ios-7. It is of vital importance that the Nibarrans are driven out."
"And if I refuse?" Tyron inquired. He may be a privateer for the Etharan empire, but he had the right to refuse.
"Then I will be forced to tell you that you will officially be cut off from imperial supply lines." he stiffly remarked.
Tyron stared hard at the man. Being cut off from Imperial supply lines meant that he would have to supply at standalone stations, which wasn't worth much. He would basically be forced out of the system.
"Fine. I'll do it."
"Have a good day, captain." with that, the envoy left.

As you read in that short introduction, we're going to take over a planet! :'D
How I planned to do this? quite simply, in fact. The roles will be divided. There will be a pilot, a trooper and a TAC-trooper role open. They will form a squad. The pilot is originally piloting them and five others into a secure area for a secret mission, but their ship will be taken down. Only the three characters joining in will survive the crash landing and undertake their mission.

I will be fulfilling the role of 'dungeonmaster' or whatever you want to call it in a sci-fi RP. The character I will play is Tyron, captain of the fleet. As a squad, you can call him any time during the RP to ask/recieve orders, or to notify of an unexpected situation. Furthermore I will be controlling the fleet as well as the defence force. I will create situations for your characters to get through, as well as provide support whenever the squad needs it.

Now, if you read through all that, feel free to leave a reply and let me know what you think about this idea/if you'd like to do it. Any of your sci-fi characters will do. Preferably human as it is more common in the fleet, but one alien race among the squad won't hurt. Any questions, ask away any time ^^

I suppose you could, but try and keep yourself to the gear written down on this page. Just scroll down for a bit and click the image button to get examples.

Concerning classes:

Trooper: regular assault. assault rifle, normal armor and what not, your usual soldier.
Pilot: light armor and shotguns. Only character that will be able to use possibly available aircraft
TAC-trooper: special force. Sniper rifle and stealth are core, submachine gun if necessary

I like the idea and i would like to join this RP but I'm not really sure if my character would fit.

It could be, if of course you change its looks to the uniforms of Tyron's fleet for the duration of the RP. Also, I doubt he would fit the role of TAC trooper if only bec ause of the sheer weight and the natural noise that would cause (TAC troopers are highly based on stealth)

I wouldn't mind changing Zepttyl's clothing but I'm not sure if i could do much about the stealth problem. I will be creating another character soon but it will also be an android. Although i have to mention that not all of them are that noisy.

it's more about the general noise of environment, seeing as they step on branches, leaves, or just the ground would make enough sound. You could of course make a stealth based android I suppose, if you were planning on creating a character for this

I already have an old character i think would suit this RP but i would need some time to put together his profile (i could do it now but i will have to go offline soon). So I'm not sure if there's enough time for me to do this?

i'm between the Tac trooper and the trooper, i may go TAC trooper

This seems like a really cool idea. If the pilot position if open, I've got a sci-fi pilot character, Wren Tain, who I could use. She's more of a fighter pilot, but It wouldn't be too much of a change to have her fly an assault shuttle or whatever.

I guess her weapons would be a pistol and a shotgun? Plus whatever aircraft she can get her hands on.

Yup, wren and tyron have been in an rp before. Wren will fly a dropship for this occasion

So pilot is taken then. So it's between exaala and dontbetrippin to decide who goes trooper/TAC trooper

I would prefer TAC but honestly I'm ok with ether.

I'm going for TAC, i feel that's more my thing than the whole guns blazing mumbo

Well, is there any positions open for a villainous character? Or someone who either helps you from the shadows or tries to stop you?

Since I'm the one setting up traps and ambushes, a villanous character would kinda interfere with the concept of game master I'm afraid
