Kyle opened his door to his room. Entering was a large apartment. It had a living room and a kitchen connected and a door to his bed room. He turned on a rather dim lamp. "I don't like a lot of light" He pointed to where the windows should be but instead they were covered up with thick black curtains. The living room was well kept with a couch and a nice looking rug. no Tv though. The kitchen it could be seen the stove was never used only the refrigerator was being used which one could guess what was in there. "I would offer you a drink but I only have wine and...well you know. Wait I have water too but it isn't cold." Kyle walked into the kitchen.
"I'm fine, thanks," Bernard called after him, mysteriously finding himself huddled in a corner tugging at his undershirt collar. He should be halfway around the block right about now, saying hello to the grocer and taking the loop that'd take him home. Waiting for him would be some book- either Mary Shelley or Ray Bradbury, he couldn't remember which- and he'd read until it was either morning or he fell asleep. Instead he was here in an apartment with a vampire who seemed determined to get him to go to a party, something Bernard hadn't been to since he was nine.
He considered hurling himself out a window but then again he might not die instantly upon hitting the ground so he decided against it.

"suit your self" He smiled taking a cup and pour what was unmistakably blood. the smell filled the air as he took a sip happily. "so good, I would prefer from a girl right now but I need some now if I am going to make it thought not going crazy dancing with all that warm blood around me tonight." He drank again and then started looking at Barnard, thinking of how he could fix his appearance.
Bernard wisely chose to ignore everything in that sentence except for the word 'dancing'. They were going to be dancing? Perhaps a long, drawn out death by window wouldn't be so bad after all. Or perhaps he could break the glass and stab himself with the shards?
The poor thing danced like an idiot. He wasn't coordinated, he wasn't fluid, he normally ended up kicking himself with his large feet. He couldn't dance to save his currently miserable life. Dancing was out of the question, unless the definition of dancing somehow now allowed for sitting in the corner nursing a glass of root beer.

"I got it." He went to the bed room and came out with a white button up and black pants. He got some siccors and a comb. "Lets fix your hair first, it is a mess." He pulled Barnard to the couch and sat him down and started cutting.
"Wait- what're you- no," he managed to get out weakly before he froze out of paranoia that if he made any other movement or sound or even breathed the vampire would skip him. The tawny brownish red fluff was thick and a little scruffy around the edges, but it wasn't too bad- it was soft to the touch, a bit like a wolf's coat.
"Just a little, puppy. Just so I can style it some, now sit down!" Kyle pouted not pleased. He drank again to calm himself. He breathed and licked his fangs some.
Bernard sighed, his shoulders slumping as he let the vampire do whatever he pleased. He didn't really care at this point so long as he didn't cut an ear off.
To think that he could be curled up with a warm drink and a novel right now...

Kyle cut his hair a bit and then started to style it. "Okay good, now get undressed and put these on" He took another drink and waited.
"But this is my favorite sweater," he stated halfheartedly, inspecting the clothes with a cautious sniff. He wasn't exactly positive arguing would work. "Are these even my size?"
"If they are a little to big we can work with it. Okay? And that sweatshirt is fine for the library not the club. Get dressed." Kyle finished off his glass and started fixing his hair some.
"Fine," he sighed, padding off to the bedroom and still sniffing the clothes like a dog that had found something interesting in the garbage. He came out a few minutes later, finishing tucking the shirt in the pants out of force of habit. He adjusted his glasses and ran a hand through his hair (or what was left of it, at least) to mess it up a little the way he normally had it.
"Happy now?" he asked, spreading his arms and raising an eyebrow. It was a little big on him, yes, but it was manageable. He was almost kinda attractive now, what with his big green puppy dog eyes and his odd hair, except for the fact that he was still incredibly shy. That would take a lot of work to get over that.

Kyle looked over him, "okay" he went over and rolled up the sleeves and undid two buttons and untucked his shirt. He fixed his hair a bit. "There, girls love guys who show skin and look like they are ready for fun." He put a gold chain around Barnard's neck, "that's a gift. Lets go." He headed out happily.
Bernard followed him like a lost puppy, fingering the gold cautiously. Good, no silver- if there was silver then they'd have some problems.
He tried to come up with a way to say that he wasn't ready for fun and his idea of fun was reading a book and watching marshmallow peeps float in coffee (he would do it in hot chocolate but he seemed to have a bad reaction to chocolate, sadly), but there was really no way to say it without sounding like a total dork. Then again, what else was new?
He didn't feel like himself, really. He was itching for his green argyle sweater and was fingering the edge of the shirt in an OCD way, resisting the urge to tuck it in again. He was a bit of a goody-two-shoes that way.
This was going to be interesting, if not utterly terrifying.

As they walked down the street Kyle smiled happily, but it faded when he saw a man trying to rob a woman. He sighed, "hold on." He walked by and grabbed the man by his hair, "go home miss, everything is okay now." She thanked him and ran off scared.
The mugger yelled in pain and stabbed Kyle with his knife. Kyle seemed unfazed, and pulled him into an alleyway. There was a yell and everything went silent. The smell of blood filled the air.

Bernard sniffed, looking after the woman and turning his attention to the alley. He sighed, his longer than normal canines visible for a moment in the dim light of the street lamp.
He didn't particularly care that the man had been killed- he was obviously bad and he could've ended up killing someone had Kyle not intervened. Bernard would've helped too but it seemed like the vampire had it under control...
He was more concerned with the fact that Kyle himself had gotten stabbed and he wasn't sure if that would effect the guy's health or not. He knew if he had gotten stabbed he'd be in a lot of trouble, but he wasn't sure since this guy was a different species than him.
He wasn't sure of a lot of things right now.

Kyle came out and licked his fingers and lips witch had a bit of blood on them. "Okay let get to that party." He pulled the knife out and frowned at his ripped pullover. "I love this outfit. I hope I can find someone to sew this for me." He threw the knife into the ally way. "Good looks like suicide." He headed down the street again, "Hey Pup relax. The girls wont bite." He chuckled seeing how tense Barnard looked.
Bernard opened his mouth to say that he could actually sew quite well, then decided against it at the last minute and closed it again, thinking.
"I'm not good with people," he warned as he followed Kyle. "Seriously. I like 'em and all but I don't socialize well with 'em."

"We will get a we drinks in you, I think you will be fine after that. You need to loosen up, you are a werewolf. Which means you a social creature." He walked up to a club door and started in, music banging from inside. The bouncer didn't even dare touch Kyle and let him through but stopped Barnard, "nope" He simply said. Kyle turned around hearing the bouncer, even though the music was very loud. "Hey hey hey, he is with me." Kyle crossed his arms and glared at the man. "mt apologizes Mr. Ryker, he may pass." The bouncer looked scared and let Barnard though. Inside music was loud and their were people every where. A group of three girls passed and waved, "Hi Kyle" They all said together and giggled. "Hello girls" He winked at them, he smiled and turned to Barnard, "This is my new Friend, Barnard. It would mean a lot to me if you guys showed him how fun dancing was."
Bernard had been perfectly willing to slink away when the bouncer had said no, but sadly he let him pass after Kyle told him he was with him. The loud music was causing an uncomfortable feeling in his head, his sensitive wolf hearing feeling blown. Sometimes if it hit a high note he had to resist the urge to start howling like he had heard a dog whistle.
He was not in his element, and he couldn't help but gulp at the sight of the three girls- not one, not two, but three. He hit his limit at one.
He started to turn to Kyle for help before remembering the cruel man was the one who had dragged him here in the first place. He was on his own.
A drink was starting to become appetizing despite the fact he hated alcohol. Maybe he could break the glass when he finished it and gouge his heart out.
