Kyle listened, knowing how it got ripped away from him in a second. How he missed it so much. How alone he felt... how alone he is... how alone Bernard is... He stopped again. "would you like to stay with me?" He asked out randomly

This was such a weird night.
"I- stay with you- like, in the apartment?" he asked just to clarify things. "Well- there's meat in the fridge that kinda needs to be eaten and it'll be a huge pain in the ass to get all the hundreds of books from my house to yours- it'd be easier if you came to my house. It's payed off and everything, no rent. It's a little small but it can probably fit two people. Is that okay...?"

"Dude, you saw my apartment. It is huge. You can have your own library in there and I own the apartment building. I can get movers to move your stuff in like an hour." he chuckled and playfully punched Bernard's shoulder.

"'Cause I'm going to be loud on the full moon- I get rabid, basically," he warned, rubbing his shoulder. "Ow. But so long as I don't get you evicted or something that's fine... I won't sell the house just so we have something to fall back on, just in case."

"I can't get evicted, again I own the hole building. Just no one knows I do. I rent out to people. You don't have to worry about a thing. and I can control you. I will get a kennel." He teased, "Just kidding."

He frowned slightly at the kennel. "I'm not easy to control. Hell, even I can't control myself. I just lock myself in a room or something and wait it out. But if you wanna do it, we can do it. I won't mind, I like company. I just never have any since I'm horrible at being social."

Kyle chuckled, "You are to much. Come on we are almost to the prison. As I see it as long as you can handle me drink and draining blood, I can handle you changing." He picked up a rock and started fiddling with it.

"Seems fair enough," Bernard said with a shrug, actually feeling quite happy about this turn of events. Kyle was starting to grow on him, and he was sorta glad he had met him by accident. "Just don't make me get rid of my argyle and we'll be good. I love those sweaters."

"You can wear what ever you want, except at parties." He laughed heading to the gate. a police man approached, "Kyle, how is it going? Hungry?" He looked older and tall in a police uniform.
"Very. Almost took out another girl at the club. Oh introductions. This is Bernard, Bernard this is Rick. He is a vamp too." Kyle chuckled.
Rick looked at him and whispered to Kyle, "He is werewolf?"
"Yea but he doesn't seem to mind Vampires all that much." Kyle patted his back.

Bernard had keen hearing, naturally, being a werewolf. He sniffed and ducked his head in a submissive posture, looking up at Rick with wide green eyes. He said 'werewolf' like he didn't like them all that much; not that he could blame him, the packs he'd met were real jerks.
"Hi," he said awkwardly in greeting, his shoulders hunched slightly as he studied the vampire.

Rick looked him over once again, "Well I am not to fond of Werewolves but any friend of Kyle is a friend of mine. Come on in." He waved them to follow into the prison. "I have three that are on death row you can have them."
"Oh joy. I am starving." Kyle tried to keep himself from running down ahead.

"I think I'll just stay out here," Bernard called after him. "I don't need humans, I just need red meat- I have that at home..."
Now he just felt awkward. He stuffed his hands I'm his pockets and leaned against a wall to wait, his ears pricked as he listened to his surroundings and looked around, able to see fairly well in the dark.

"Okay I will be just be a second." Kyle called out to him and headed down. The sound of some people talking could be heard by Bernard's ears.
"Who is he?"
"Don't worry about it." Rick said.
"Hello gentle men?" Kyle greeted as the sound of a metal door opened.
"hey why is allowed in? He isn't in uniform or anything? are you a detective? look I told your buddies already, she was already dead before I got there."
"Yea yea yea, shut up." Kyle answered before there was a scream and then nothing for a second.
"What the ---!!!!" Another voice sounded. "Hey hey! guard! Guard! Do something!" There was another scream and some one panicking as he yelled for help and then everything went silent.

Bernard was doing his best to tune it out, although it was difficult for him to do. He finally busied his ears by humming, what it was, he wasn't sure. But it was something to get his mind off what was happening in the corridor or whatever right now.

"That was great, thanks man." Kyle came up with Rick.
"Hey no problem. you provide me with a place to stay free, so this is the least I can do. Have a good night. It was very nice to meet you." Rick held out a hand to Bernard.

"Nice to meet you too," Bernard said with a nod of the head, shaking his hand warmly after a split second of hesitation, making sure he wasn't about to get punched in the gut. You never knew. "Good night."

"Good night." Rick smiled as Kyle and Bernard left. "There are three other Vampires in this town. In all 5. Me, Rick, Eva, Jacob and Patty. The only one you need to stay away from because she hates werewolves is Patty." Kyle told Bernard.

"Okay, I can do that," he told him, not recognizing any of the names. "I'll keep that in mind. Anybody else really hate werewolves that I should know about? Any hunters around here I should stay away from?"

"Two Vampire hunters, Charles and Tony. The work together. But they never have caught a vampire in their lives, so I would worry about it." Kyle walked into his apartment building. "So every Sunday, me and the rest of the vamps get together for cards. Patty does come but I think I can talk to her. I mean we mated once so I don't see why she can't calm her self."

"I can just chill in the corner and sleep or read a book or something," Bernard offered timidly, considering his options when Sunday rolled around. What day was it anyway? Friday? Saturday? Something like that.
