He sighed, "you were suppose to laugh" he pouted, "well how was your date?" Kyle went to the kitchen. open the fridge and took out a bottle of blood and started drink it like a bottle of beer.
"Oh- sorry. It was great, she seems to like me," he told him with a shrug, taking a few other things out from the box he had brought and looking them over. "But I think the full moon is this week, when I was on my way back here I was getting exhausted."
"Full moon huh? sound like fun. I am always stronger on a full moon." he laughed, "can I ask you a few questions?" Kyle took a big drink
He was about to point out that he hated the full moon and it was a real pain in the butt when Kyle asked about questions.
"Umm, sure," he replied, straightening a book on the shelf in an OCD fashion, watching the vampire out of the corner of his eye. "Fire away."

"Do you go full wolf boy? How does it work? Do you become like a wild beast? What is the best think I can do? Kennel?" Kyle started messing with his hair.
"Yeah, I morph into a complete wolf, I'll show you that in a minute. As soon as the sun goes down I'm gone and my wolf genes take over, and after maybe two minutes I'm fully transformed and completely insane. Just lock me in an empty room or something and don't let me out until the sun comes up, because that's when I morph back and get my senses back. Until then I'm pretty much like a rabid wolf." Just to show Kyle what to expect, he morphed into a wolf there in front of him. He was a bit on the smaller side of the wolf spectrum, his coat sleek and glossy and the same color as his hair. His eyes were still the same as when he had been a human and he wagged his tail slightly at the vampire. He bared his fangs just to show him what they were like when he was fully morphed- like a normal wolf's, maybe a little sharper and cleaner- before rolling over on his back like he wanted a belly rub, his thick furred tail thumping on the carpet.
Kyle laughed, "I'm not petting you, I am more of a cat person." He teased, "Well can you do any tricks? Quick! Play dead!" He chuckled playfully.
Bernard looked rather put off for a moment before flopping over, sprawled and stiff like he had been shot. He stayed that way for a moment before popping back up and attacking Kyle with a playful growl. The werewolf chewed on his hand but didn't break the skin, leaving a few little imprints but nothing more. He had learned how to play nice.
"Hey now, no dog slobber." Kyle laughed and pushed him on the gound playfully restling too. "So tonight I am having a friend over is that cool? He doesn't mind werewolf as long as you don't attack him. He is a cool guy. I told him about you, he texted me today and want to share a cup of red with me. He lives two stories down. oh I should mention we have about six other vampires living in the apartment complex. I told you to bewear of Lucy. Oh and we have a ghoul. He lives in the basement. Kind of funny really." Kyle pinned Bernard down and growled as well.
He nipped at his nose, his tail thumping slightly against the carpet before he changed back into a human, lying there on his back and adjusting his glasses and shirt collar, since they always went a little askew during a change.
"Yeah, that's fine," he said as he looked up at him from his position on the floor. "As long as he doesn't attack me I'll be fine. I'm pretty non-violent, in case you couldn't tell."

"Awesome" He yawned and started to stand, suddenly he fell over and screamed in pain, grabbing his chest.
Bernard scrabbled over to him, his green eyes now wide in panic. "Kyle- Kyle, that's wrong- Kyle?" He sniffed at the vampire worriedly, trying to smell if something was off. But he could normally tell if someone was sick earlier with his acute sense of smell, so he was pretty clueless as to what was going on.
Kyle screamed again, before calming down still grabbing his chest. "owowowowow" he breathed hard. He took a deep breath and started coughing. "This hasn't *cough* happened for a long *cough* time now. not for at least twenty years."
The werewolf nuzzled him worriedly, not sure what to make of this situation. "What's wrong, Kyle? What's happening? Should I be doing something or what? What?"
"See a vampire's heart doesn't work anymore but sometimes mine tries to work again. I don't know why but it hurts a lot." Kyle patted Bernard's head, "Thanks for worrying about me."
"Oh." Bernard sighed and curled up on the floor again, tucking his hands underneath him. He looked up with those luminous green eyes, not lifting his head at all. He looked a lot like a dog when he did that- he had a lot of the same mannerisms.
"So you're okay then?"
"So you're okay then?"
"I don't know. I always hope that one of those will some day turn me human again. With any luck." he sighed and watched Bernard, "I feel like a got a new puppy." He teased.
"With luck... At least you're trying. I have no hope. I was born this way and I'm gonna stay this way till I die." He raised an eyebrow at Kyle's comment, a faint trace of a smile flitting across his face. "Yeah... Don't say that."
"If I threw a ball would you go get it?" He chuckled going to a drawer and pull out a tennis ball. "I play the night tournaments every month."
"I probably would," he admitted sheepishly, his bright green gaze locking onto the ball. "It's my instinct to chase things, especially little round things that bounce."
