Bernard made an unhappy grumbling sound, sitting down again and morphing back into a wolf. His tail wagged slowly and he put his head on Kyle's lap, looking up at him with those great big green puppy dog eyes of his. It was easier to comfort somebody in this form, since a wolf was fluffier and more pettable than a human. Humans were more cumbersome, with arms and things in the way of getting a good hug in. A wolf was easier to handle, really, so long as you weren't frightened by wolves.
"Thanks" he petted Bernard and groaned in pain feeling dizzy. "I just need sleep."
Dimitri patted his back. "Sorry out hang out was cut
Short. Call me when you are feeling batter.
"Will do. Take care." Kyle whispered.
"Nice to meet you Bernard, take care of this pain." Dimitri petted Bernard.

Bernard dipped his head in something of a nod, nuzzling his hand warmly with his nose. He then jumped up on the couch and curled himself into a fuzzy ball of warmth, his head resting on Kyle's lap as he sighed and closed his eyes.
Dimitri left and Kyle fell asleep every once in a while wincing in pain.
When Bernard woke up next, he was even more exhausted than he had been when he had fallen asleep. He was getting into the icky part of the week when he felt like doing absolutely nothing and didn't like being bothered by anybody. Already in a somewhat bad mood, he hopped off the couch, stretched, and fell over again in a furry puddle on the floor, too tired to try to walk any farther.
He hated the week of the full moon.
He hated the week of the full moon.
Kyle was awoken quick the the burn on his skin. "Ahhhhhhhh!!!" Everything hurt and be couldn't get up to close the windows. "BERNARD! PLEASE CLOSE THE WINDOWS!!! IT BURNS!!!" He felt like he was going to die.
With a startled snarl Bernard bolted upright, popping back into his human form and closing the windows with a fumbling hand. He could hardly do it himself from lack of energy; when he had closed the windows he slumped back to the floor with a groaning sigh, his glasses askew and his limbs splayed in odd directions like he had gotten kicked in the back.
He was tired and was already starting to doze off again. This week would probably be the only time he'd ever try to bite Kyle if he annoyed him too much.

Kyle shuttered and wrapped himself up, "thank you" he said in a painful voice. He had burns all over him like he had just been in a fire. He felt it hard to move and felt even worse now. "Bernard, could you fetch me a glass of blood. I feel horrid." He said with his eyes closed.
Bernard lethargically forced his own eyes open, letting out an unsettling growl.
"But the fridge is so far away," he protested, extending a hand toward it like he could pull it to him using the Force.

Kyle groaned, "why are you acting like a jerk?" Opened his eyes a bit irritated.
Sluggishly he added up the days to the full moon in his head, frowning as he did so. "Four days to the full moon...? Something like that. I'm always a jerk in this time period, thank you very much."
He sighed, letting out another growl and staggered to his feet, trying not to fall on his face again.

"Well so you know, you act like a woman on her period. It is like a count down till it is over." He teased. "Do you see my cell anywhere?"
He snarled bad-temperedly in his direction, looking around for a moment before finding the cell phone and tossing it over to him. The movement exhausting him, he stumbled back to a corner and fell over, curling into a little ball of green sweater and blue jeans.
The naps never helped with his tiredness, but he could literally do nothing else when he got this tired. The day of the full moon itself was like he had drank an entire bottle of Niquil drowsy formula. This would change once the full moon was over, of course, but until then he was tired and cranky and every so often nauseous. All werewolves handled this week differently, and for Bernard he was always sleepy and the thought of food made him want to puke his guts out. That made him all the more ravenous when the day finally did roll around.
He couldn't win. Kyle had taken on a headache, in his opinion.

Kyle rolled his eyes. He was more expecting dangerous crazy wolf to deal with not lazy cranky one. He felt some what disappointed and also some what relived. He was in no mood to fight and he quickly fell back to sleep.
He would get the dangerous, crazy werewolf in a few days, he shouldn't worry about that. That would come as soon as the sun went down a couple of days from now.
But until then he'd get the lazy, cranky werewolf that was a little easier to deal with but not by much. This was the period when he was prone to snapping and biting the most besides the actual full moon night, since he was tired and cranky and didn't like to be bothered. Normally he was alone and at home during this time so it didn't matter if he was cranky and snappish, but now that he was actually staying with someone besides himself they'd both have to be careful.
Bernard woke up another couple of hours later and changed position there in his corner, once more starting to drift off. He was a rather boring werewolf but at least he wasn't raiding the fridge yet.

Kyle slept through till night. When he awoke he still felt horrid. He decided to just lay there until he felt better. He started thinking about his friend back when he was just changed. How he would disappear for about a week sometimes. He now knew why. He missed his home.
Bernard was staring intently at the tennis ball in his wolf form, wanting to go get it to chew on it but too tired to actually move. He almost felt like he was teething again, the way his fangs itched and needed to bite into something. He'd prefer not to bite Kyle so he needed the ball. True, he'd probably end up destroying it, but it was better than destroying the couch.
He pawed at the ball, which was pointless since it was on the other side of the room, and he let out a frustrated growl. He hated moving at this point.

Kyle got up slowly and kicked the ball to Barnard and then laid back on the couch starting to sleep once again. "You remind me of Jess." He said with his eyes closed.
He trapped the ball with his paws before it could roll away again and quickly sank his fangs into it, closing his eyes as the relief came. He let out a small sigh and looked up at Kyle questioningly, still chewing at the ball to have something to do.
"My dog when I was human. She was one of my best friends..." There was sadness in his voice, "I... At the beginning it was hard to control myself. I drained her... It was awful..."
