Apprehensively she approached the large mammal, glancing between it and Kyle to confirm that it was safe. Without giving herself the opportunity to think and change her mind she stroked its smooth back, smiling at the feel.
"Wow," she breathed heavily as if she'd been holding in her breath.

"Can I ask you something? Personal." He moved a bit closer to her still touching the whale. He scratched the whales tongue as it opened its mouth some..
Iveth pried her eyes away from the whale to meet his, unsure of how personal the question would be, but she decided to take it in case it would prove to be important later on, "Um.. Yeah. Anything."
Kyle smiled, "how far do you want this relationship to go? Would ever allow me to turn you? Would you have my children? Could you love a vampire? A killer of the living." He looked deep into Her eyes.
She was taken aback by all the sudden questions, not even being able to answer them internally. She pondered over it a moment, thinking of the gym, her friends, people she worked with that she may have to leave behind. Especially if she became a vampire. She'd outlive them all, but also there was him. The first guy she ever let in or even got as far as knowing her name and he happened to be a vampire of all people. She couldn't imagine going through an infinite life alone. It sounded devastating. On top of that, being hunted, having to kill to survive.. And he didn't even choose to live that way.
Iveth stared down into the water, thinking of the best possible answer. This was no 'I guess' situation. She had to be sure.. With a moment of intent thought, she brought her eyes to meet his again, not a glint of hesitance to be seen, "Yes.. Yes, I can."

Kyle stared at her for a long moment, he leaned in and wrapped his arms around her. He got close to her neck and breathed deeply, "right now?" He whispered kissing her neck and then softly pushing on her skin with his fangs, not hard enough to draw any blood but enough to show they were sharp.
Her hands slid up his shoulders, no longer focused on covering herself and gripped them tightly. She'd breathed shakily awaiting expectant pain, but also because she was about to begin a new life and she was a bit nervous. Her eyes closed when she felt his fangs grazing against her neck, turning her head to give him more access, "Yeah.."
"He pulled away. I don't think you are ready. Can you look me in the eyes and seriously tell me you are ready to NEVER see the sun again? Feel it's warmth fill you when you feel cold, to watch a sun rise or sun set? To walk though a field of flowers, seeing them all in bloom? I haven't seen a real flower open and sparking with life in almost 80 years. No more picnics, morning runs, summer days. Pool parties, or sun tans." Kyle stared at her while he explained.
The prominence was evident in his tone as he reminded her of the events she would be without. Yes, she'd miss it all, but if he was turned without warning of how his never-ending life would be, not knowing what to expect out of being a vampire, what makes him think she couldn't handle it? He told her how it was going to be, whether it was as bad as it sounded or not. She has a choice unlike he did which meant there was one thing that was holding him back.
"Are you afraid I would hate you if you made me like you..?"
"Are you afraid I would hate you if you made me like you..?"
Kyle looked at her with serious eyes glowing in the moon light, "could you take a life? A person, with family, friends, hopes and dream. Could you end their life so you can survive? Some one child,
Some ones lover, someone's father or mother. Can you do it?"

Her past, before joining the crew and the gym, had flooded over her mind. She'd held a gun and used it whether she liked it or not. This wasn't going to be a job this time though. It would actually be necessary.
Iveth turned her gaze down for a brief moment then brought them back up to him, firm and hardened and she nodded, content with her decision.

Kyle thought not sure if he was ready to change someone. He had never done it before, and to her... He was about to say something when an arrow flew from the shore and almost hitting Kyle. He looked to see a tall mid-forties man in a long black coat with a cross bow in his hands. "Oh no... A hunter..." He grabbed her hand and started swimming down.
Iveth didn't have time to observe who shot the arrow before she was pulled under, thankfully sucking in a breath. She looked to Kyle through the dark water, trying to read what he was going to do next.
Kyle swam through the dark water and came up on shore around some rocks. "Keep quiet here, hide. I will get out clothing and then we will book it away from here." He smiled and kissed her. "Shh"
Her face flushed a bit and nodded, "Careful, those arrows can poke your eye out." She whispered with a small grin before leaning back against the rock quietly, listening for the hunter that wasn't too far away. 'It's about time my life got a bit more daring again' she thought, keeping still in the cool water.
Kyle snuck around quickly grabbing the clothing. He slipped on his and gathered hers as the hunter scanned the water.
The sound of a loaded gun sound at the back of Iveth's head then the cold metal touch led it, "don't move. You will not be harmed." The sound came from a young 20 year old looking man with bright eyes and a fit structure.

Iveth's body immediately stiffened at the sound, even before he spoke. She was stunned that she didn't hear him as he approached, especially when the speed he had to make it from the beach to behind the boulder. The position wasn't alien to her, she'd dealt with worse, but not with someone who was probably more skilled than she. She really had no chance defending herself against him at the moment though her mind scrambled through the many possible ways she could swiftly disarm him.
In failure to come up with anything, she decided to listen to his instruction, but he never said she had to be quiet, "KYLE!!"

The older man on the beach turned to The sound of Iveth's scream. Kyle was hiding and he jump a bit from the sound. 'No no no.' He cursed himself in his head. "Come out vampire. Or we will shoot your mate." The one with gun voiced. Kyle sighed, he didn't want to see Iveth hurt. He stood up and walked out into the open. The man with the cross bow raised it ready to fire and the man with the gun made Iveth move out to stand next to his partner.
"So you guys hunt in packs now? Seems a bit unfair." Kyle joked but with a serious dark look.

She hissed at the man as he pushed her over to the other with the crossbow. Her eyes shot up to Kyle who was in the worst position possible.. Or not. She was completely naked standing between two armed men, but it was also an opportune moment. Though she said nothing she met his eyes, flickering them towards the man with the crossbow signaling Kyle that she was going to do something risky, but worth a shot.
As the man raised the weapon her body responded immediately. Her elbow struck the side of his head and she adroitly disarmed him of his crossbow, aiming the weapon towards him. Without taking her eyes off the hunter she threatened the other one, "Put the gun down or I shoot. I'll tell you beforehand that I don't bluff."

Kyle saw both of them taking thier eyes off him and to Iveth. He quickly ran and slammed his foot in a kick into the man with the Gun back. There was a loud crack and the man screamed and started bleeding from his mouth.
"Bernard!" The older man yelled in Panic. Kyle bared his fangs leaning down and grabbing the man's hair and about to bite, "no! Don't! He is in enough pain! Please spare my son!" The man cried.
