It was dawn and the sun had barely lit the sky or as much as he could see from his place under the skyscrapers. Still, even after his many visits to modern day, it had bothered him that he couldn't find a single star in the sky due to all the lights around.

There hadn't been much motion in the streets since it was so early, at least not yet.

Nelìs sipped the coffee he had made for himself as he walked down the sidewalk. A quest to Barnes & Nobles as he'd always done. Nothing was new to him anymore. He knew past, present, and future. What else was there to know? The answer came a few paces in front of him. It was a boy, a young lad which was strange. Those of his age never woke so early in this time.

Kenway walked quietly with his hands in the pockets of his dirty white jacket, it was clear he was eather homeless or had very little money. Pausing outside of a bakery, he licked his lips smelling the food coming out, but after cheeking his pickets he had no money so he sadly just continued on his way. as he was walking a car flew past him hitting a water puddle. Kenway quickly threw up his hands to block the water, but ended up freezing it. That's when he noised Nelis, the young boy turned and ran down an ally.

Nelìs froze briefly, not knowing if he should believe his eyes or not, but he had literally felt the boy perform the magic. He'd never seen anyone from the current time do such a thing.

"Excuse me!" He called after the boy knowing that the boy wouldn't have stopped anyway. Instead he allowed his body to break down into tiny miniscule particles, his coffee left to fall to the ground, and caught up to the boy, conforming back into his body to block his path.

Kenway slid to a stop and lost his balance ending up on his but " how did you... please don't hurt me!" he said putting his arms over his head, his golden eyes showing fear. Kenway had never seen anyone other than himself to strange things, and frankly it tarifyed him. He did not know weather this guy was going to hurt him or not.

Nelìs thought carefully towards his next words, "I'm not here to hurt you." He kneeled slowly before the boy lifting his hand to pull the moisture from the air and collecting the molecules to make a baseball sized sphere of water, "Just show me what you did earlier."

Kenway blinked and slowly touched the ball of water.. it froze almost instantly "most of the time i cant control it though" he said sighing softly looking down. he was still scared, and that was clear from his hand shaking slightly as he put it in his lap.

"... Come with me," the illusionist abruptly said rising to his feet and offered a hand out to the boy.

He wasn't exactly sure what he'd do with the young man yet,but for now he'd treat him to a meal. It was obvious the boy had been alone and without a home.

Kenway blinked hesitating for a moment, then took his hand and stood up. He looked down a bit not knowing what to said.. some of his white hair fell from under his hood into his eyes

Nelìs was unsure how the boy could wield magic. There had to be a mark somewhere on his body stating that he could perform it.

"How long have you been able to do that?" He asked, walking in the opposite direction than he had before. He noted the boy's nearly white hair and gold eyes. That wasn't deemed natural where they were, but Nelìs had encountered stranger things than just colors of one's hair or eyes. His was a blackish blue, but that couldn't be seen until the sun would rise.

" for most of my life.." he said srugging " i don't remember if i could before but the first time i ever remimber it happening was after a fell threw some ice when i was around five" he said yawning a little bit.

"Hm," he gave the boy a glance before stopping before an alley and walking into it. His hand pressed against a brick wall firmly until the wall became a road that led to a mansion behind tall metal gates, "Go in." With a grin he gestured toward the live image.

If anywhere he knew this was where the boy belonged for the time being.

Kenway blinked a few times in confusion, he walked foreword and paused for a moment before he walked on " how..." he said looking around looking very confused.

Nelìs followed behind him, "If you must know I'm a.. Wizard you could say." Though he didn't like the title 'wizard' he didn't know what else he'd prefer to call himself besides a Trait wielder,but he'd have to explain what it meant first.

" i kinda figured that out" Kenway said looking at him, he suddenly bit his lip and put a hand to his back between his shoulders, and the scar there felt like it was burning " ow, damn it" He said sighing.

Nelìs halted, "Something wrong?" He studied his expression carefully.

The boy seemed pained, but he didn't know the cause. Maybe there had been an injury..?

Kenway sighed " just this old injury on my back, its just a scar not but it sometimes burns like its on fire" he said sighing a bit

"I'll have a look at it when we're inside," as he stepped up to the gates they opened with a clank."There's also more things I'd like to share with you that are vital."

He pace had quickened toward the great double doors of his mansion.

Kenway nodded as he followed " alright" he said looking around " Where are we anyway?" he asked as he moved to walk next to him. looking at Nelis with curiosity in his eyes

As the doors opened to reveal Nelìs's butler, Gerald, he grinned, "We're in 1872, London."

Gerald who seemed to be around his forties stood before them, "May I take your coat lad?" The question was aimed at the boy.

Nelìs had already walked in to the large living room with a huge hearth and bearskin carpets, waiting for the boy to come in.

Kenway blinked but took it off, it was very dirty and ripped in many places.. the undershirt he had on was just as bad. With a shy smile at Gerald he joined Nelis in the room
