"Surrender? Hell, I just got here!" Marshal said, then cut the channel "Alright, deactivate the shields full power back to the remaining particle cannons, torpedoes and particle cannons target their weapons reactor, FIRE!" The shots flew at the enemy ship, eight torpedoes and multiple particle blasts. Meanwhile down at the boarders, a group of marines with body armor all over appeared, the only vulnerable part was their head, and they began shooting their high-powered-magnums and sniper rifles at the enemies

"Sir, we're surrounded!" The infantry man shouted, and looked at the Lieutenant. So far, they hadn't been hurt. The lieutenant looked at him like he was an idiot and sighed.

"No Duh! I can hear the rounds ricocheting! Alright men! LIGHT EM UP!" The lieutenant shouted, and dropped a few smoke grenades into the room. As soon as he did that, the flamer jumped in front and began laying down a surpressive fire. Literally. As soon as he began torching the men in front of him, the men began opening up with their weapons. 23mm rounds shot across the room, embedding themselves in the walls behind if they missed.

As Mentat's men started their short journey through the blizzard, he looked back at the thermal-energy based engineers. "Remind you of home boys?" He asked. The response he received was a chuckle from one or two.
"Good thing it's not too much like home. An akrid attack would decimate us right now. Especially a class G." The pilot responded.
"At least that would be more of a respectful death than those flying Class S ones! God forgive us if that happened." He chuckled in response.

A few miles away, the Coalition battle-cruiser Poseidon dropped out of warp, responding to reports of intense combat in the area and ready to stop it by whatever means necessary. Captaining the Poseidon was Captain Johnson, one of the youngest commanders in the Coalition. he was often considered a radical by the corrupted elements of the government, but most considered him a patriot, attempting to try and restore the Coalition as a beacon of peace and freedom throughout the galaxy. Unfortunately, the Mercenaries were making it almost impossible.

As the ship moved closer to the planet where the fighting was raging on, Johnson stood. "Give me a detailed scan of the area, now."

A Lieutenant Commander typed in a few commands. "Aye sir. Sensors detect several ships in orbit around the planet, engaged in a pretty fierce battle. We detect a large amount of wreckage, no doubt a destroyed ship along with impulse trails leading down to the Northern Pole of the planet."

"Tell me about the ships in orbit."

"Aye, the majority are the Mercenaries sir, however, this one ship seems to be handing their asses to them on a silver platter, however I can not identify the ship's factional stance. Something called HRA. All combatants are damaged."

Johnson nodded. "Hail the "HRA" ship. They don't seem to like the Mercenaries much." He allowed himself a small smile. "After all, the enemy of my enemy is my friend."

A ship came out of warp, it was much smaller than the others. It started heading for the polar caps.
"Men! Set up the beacon!" Mentat yelled at his engineers. They placed down an orange thin machine down in front of them.
"We are reading your signal."
"Bring us home." Mentat replied. Minutes later they boarded, and Mentat activated the radio. "This isn't over rats! Pilots! To E.D.N. III!"

"Sir, ship hailing us. We don't know what it is, but the information in the signal tells us its Coalition, and its a Battle Cruiser. That's about-" The Lieutenant said, and didn't finish his sentence. Arik managed to do that for him.

"Equivalent to a Destroyer, I know. Let them in. Its not a good time; I'm bugged halfway to hell and back, but I can talk," Arik replied, and stretched out his arms. There was so much going on with the fighting and such.

As he said that, the video and audio began playing, and he stopped it. Then he began to speak, standing up. The sheathed sword knocked against his thigh as he stood up, and his armor rattled. "This is General of the Army Arik Taranis of the HRA Empire, commanding the Battleship HRAS BS-1 Arrogance. How can I be of assistance?"

"This is Captain Johnson of the Coalition, commanding officer of the CSV Poseidon. I think the question is are you in need of assistance? Your vessels seems to have taken a fair amount of damage. If you like, my ship could join your in battle. After all, I have no love for the Mercenaries."

The ship prepared to enter warp, aimed towards a distant planet. Mentat paced around the ship, furious. "...new guns, new shields, everything! Well this time, no more Maliwan shields! Patholegon shields this time! NEVEC grade weapons! That NEVEC Echelon gun would do nicely, tear those idiots to shreds!" Mentat continued pacing. "Chef! Get me some tea, Irish if you will. Moakoena, get my spare punching bags."

"SEND THESE DEMONS BACK TO HELL!" marshal yelled, then more torpedoes and partcle blasts flew at the enemy ship's weapon's core, meanwhile down a few decks, the shoot out was still going, a few marines were killed but then a marine yelled "LET ME SHOW YA WHAT A REAL GERNADE IS!" and threw a frag gernade over

"No, I am not in... Immediate need of assistance, either. However, I would be most delighted if you could join me in glorious battle with these mercenaries. What say you?" Arik asked, and held off the reports for a bit. Then, finally, when he couldn't ignore them anymore, he muted himself. "What? What could you possibly want?"

"Incoming torpedoes! They've managed to get a few past the defenses! Incoming projectiles at... the front left..." The Lieutenant reported, and looked a little panicky. "They're going to hit!"

"PREPARE FOR IMPACT!" Arik shouted, holding onto the arm rests on the chair. There was no need, simply because of the ship's size. The torpedoes hit the shields, and a lot managed to detonate upon impact on the shields, weakening them greatly. Finally, they gave out, and a torpedo hit the armor, but was destroyed. "Get those shields up again! I want them fixed! Laser batteries, fire on the enemy torpedo bays. Seal them shut, completely. And wipe out their weapons systems! Get me online with the boarding party, now!"

The boarding party was in... not much of a rut. The Space Marines were doing fine. And now? The Death Korps were online. Their torpedoes opened, and out they went. In every squad of 20, there was two Heavy Stubbers, or men with a .50 caliber heavy machine gun, firing slug rounds. It was very heavy, but these men were prepared for that.

Every other one had .457 caliber Lasgun assault rifles in the shape of M1 Carbines, or SMGs. Two other men had flamers with them, and of course, there was one Sergeant with a chainsword and bolt pistol. They began moving to rendezvous with the Space Marines, and as such, began moving throughout the ship. But they didn't meet up with the Space Marines, oh no. They began moving towards the bridge.

"This is General Arik. Use the Mustard Gas Grenades. I repeat, use the Mustard Gas. Secure the ship at all costs. Bring the ship back to us unharmed. As much as you can, that is." Arik ordered, and the Sergeants of the Death Korps nodded and replied with a Yes Sir. "Duke! How's it going over there?"

"You kidding, sir? We're doing fine. GET THAT GRENADE OUT OF HERE!" Duke shouted, and fired off a few rounds. So far, none had been killed. Their armor was just that thick. In fact, it wasn't metal, really. It was Adamantite and a type of rock, but no one but them knew what it was. It was so old. A private kicked the frag grenade back, and took out one of his own. A high explosive fragmentation mustard gas grenade. It was big, and he tossed it over to the enemy marines with no remorse.

The gernades went off, killing most of the marines, and began running back, Marshal heard this, and got up "I will handle then, you have the bridge" marshal said, but then someone protested "from your stories when we were in prison, last time you did this you got captured!" marshal then smirked "yes, but this is not a large battle-field where a large amount of tanks corner you" marshal said, then walked off the bridge, but then someone grumbled "that was only two or three tanks" but then the whole ship shook "PORT TORPDO IS DOWN!" yelled a voice, "then fire particle cannons at there bridge" said Commander Yamato, "and fire some more mines, I have a plan"

Within minutes, the smaller ship landed in a desert region of E.D.N. III. Mentat walked over to a strange native, with a metallic helmet with a square face-guard, no shirt, and camo pants below his body tattoos. They exchanged words, money, and items, before Mentat followed him to a large run down space docking station.

"INCOMING!!" The Lietenant shouted, and the particle cannon discharges hit the edges of the bridge, at the armored part. The shields weren't on, so the armor took the bulk of the attack. The ship almost reeled, and the rounds melted the armor, spewing metal into the air. The pressure doors sealed, and the maintenance bots began repairing whatever damage had been done.

"FIRE AGAIN! I WANT THOSE WEAPONS DOWN! NOW!" Arik shouted, and slammed his fist on the controls in front of him. And no sooner had he said that than the four lasers fired again, recharged, and fired again. Over and over again, and they didn't stop unless the enemy was deweaponized.

And the boarding parties began pressing farther and farther inward, blasting apart any control they saw. One Death Korps squadron was ordered to proceed to the gun turrets, to destroy or capture them if possible. Anyone they saw was fired upon.

"The other torpedo port is down, Starboard particle cannon is down to 40% Efficiency!" yelled an officer, Yamato's fists tightened "Return the favor, Target those laser cannons FIRE AT WILL!" The particle blasts flew back at the enemy, Targeting their laser cannons. Marshal walked down and saw a squad, he had grey armor on, with red lines along it, Along with a symbol on it(1), Marshal smirked "So, who do I owe the pleasure?" He said, before putting on a helmet with a red visor on it, and then his suit made a strange noise,

"Lieutenant Duke Rogers, kid. And I am going to beat the crap out of you," Duke replied, and grabbed a sticky Krak (High Explosive Anti Tank) Grenade from his belt, unpinned it, and tossed it at Marshal. After he tossed it, he drew his sword, and jumped for cover. He wasn't stupid enough to attack a juggernaught head on after tossing a grenade.

No, instead, a Heavy Bolter unit walked up, and targeted Marshal. Aiming, he open fired with the Heavy Bolter, firing 30mm rounds across the room. If they detonated on the hull, they didn't care. Their suits could withstand the vacuum of space.

"Affirmative. We will help you take down these Mercenaries." Johnson said before ending communications.

"Go to Red Alert. Bring shields and weapons online. Accelerate to combat speed and open fire on the new Mercenary ship."

The slight vibrations of the deck shifted as the ship was surrounded in it's protective bubble. Each weapons port began to glow as they were bought online. Finally, the ship moved forward, it's impulse engine propelling to combat speed. Within the vessel, Security and non-essential personnel were arming themselves and began paroling the corridors or guarding the critical areas on the ship., standard protocol once Red Alert had been sounded.

As the Poseidon neared the newer ship, it's beam arrays flared and blue lances of focused energy shot forward to the target ship.

((Just in case: The ship under attack is Mentat's))

Mentat's ship's shield held back most of the attacks, reflecting others. The top opened, and a large barrel-nosed gun slowly rose out of it. Three small grips sprang out of it, and it moved till it was aimed at the attacking ship. The barrel opened three ways, until they reached the grips. A red glow started to form in the gun. Several hundred pieces of the gun started to move as they filled with a red glow. The entrance to the inner mechanisms of the gun opened, and an electronic buzz sound was heard in the area. The entire inner gun filled with the red glow, till nothing else about the gun was noticeable.
"...Fire!"
A red beam shot out, larger than the gun itself, it incinerated all the ammo shot into it, as it raced toward the enemy ship. The electronic buzzing was now an ambient deafening screech.
(The screech sounds like those bombs that Jango Fett set off in space in Star Wars)

"New ship incoming, sir!" The Lieutenant shouted, and clicked a few things, pressed a few buttons, and began typing out stuff. He was tracking the beam that the gun gave off. It was... new. Very new. Something they didn't have. "Sir, friendly projectiles were... destroyed. Completely!"

"Okay. Go head on with them. Leave the battleship alone for now. If need be, we can call in reinforcements. Actually, call in reinforcements. What do we have in the area?" Arik said, thinking for a moment. They needed to wipe out that new destroyer, but what would they use? Their destroyers? Perhaps... or a heavy cruiser.

"Two destroyers, one Super Heavy Carrier, 10 frigates, and one heavy cruiser, sir. The Destroyers Hauler and Huron, the Carrier Enterprise, and the Heavy Cruiser Mauler are the biggest of the 14."

"Get the Mauler in here. Make sure it comes out of warp close to the battleship. I want it to keep an eye on them. The other ships? Get them out of Warp, but far away from us. Keep them out of the battle if need be. No, wait... Open up a channel. Tell the ships to come out of warp now."

"Yes sir," The lieutenant said, and began opening a channel with all the participating ships. And out in space, two large Warp Holes opened up, the red energy shooting out the sides like lightning. Out of them came the 14 ships, large and powerful, bristling with guns and weaponry. A sight to see. The Mauler and 5 frigates began targeting the enemy battleship, locking on with their weapons, powering them up.

The Enterprise, Huron, and Hauler, along with their five escorts, began moving close to the planet, readying their bombardment weaponry. The massive double barreled 100 meter gun turrets on the Enterprise began locking onto the ground below, and the large anti ship weaponry began locking onto the new ship. Meanwhile, every other ship in that group locked on to the enemies.

"This is General Arik Taranis, one last time. You see that planet below us? Want to keep your troops alive? Surrender, and we will spare the men who evacuated. And your ship. Don't surrender, and we will wipe out your troops, and destroy your ship. You're outnumbered. Outgunned. What say you?"

"I'd say you read the numbers on the chart. We are the men who evacuated! This is NEVEC technology, stolen by a friend. NEVEC has destroyed whole planets with gear like this. Ships like yours won't be a problem. I'd say you surrender, and I won't have to use this gun again." Mentat said over the radio, the ships name appearing. 'Echelon M7'
