The Saltspite overturned and it didn't concern Abdel but did make him even vengeance. So once his slaughter of the Brixham crew continued he did something that surprised even some of the vampires of his crew. He shouted very loudly in an old ancient tongue, "VIN MORR REEK" at first nothing happened. But then 6 ethereal tentacles shot up from the sea near the Calypso Knave and wrapped itself around the ship slowly breaking it apart.

Nightmare had seen enough. "Lightningbolt Execution." Six gigantic lightning bolts shocked the tentacles, causing them to ungrapple the ship. "Captain, I can get us out of here, but it'll be to the volcano island."

The Brixham med were fighting with immense skill. An advanced alchemist began transmuting and aiding his fellow crewmen in battle. The wood of the Saltspite's deck reformed itself and began impaling Saltspite soldiers and holding them in place. Living or not.

Abdel's second in command was with him as they saw the Calypso Knave trying to escape. But their planning was halted by the reformation of the Saltspite and this furthered his rage which increased his chance of harming both the Saltspite and Brixham's crew. He began a massive magical build-up which made his glow a bright purple before he released his attack. He has cast the pit of shades. This stationary vortex was behind the Brixham crew and it began to suck the crew towards doing massive damage to the crew manpower and morale.

Nightmare's eyes turned gray. "Thou shalt not harm the innocent." He lifted his hands in the air as he levitated up as well. "Nightmare Realm" He threw what looked to be a dark cloud of spirits at the captain of the ship. The attack landed, surrounding the captain in his greatest fear, buying Nightmare enough time to cast a counterspell to the vortex problem. He summoned a magic barrier to cover the vortex, hopefully buying the other ship enough time to get out of there. As Abdel became surrounded by the power of the Nightmare Realm, he would remember the legends about Nightmare and his crew, an unstoppable team of arcane magicians with powers beyond mankind. "Captain, I shall request to teleport the other ship to our location, if you approve of my idea."

A messenger pigeon had been released by the captain of Brixham. No doubt with a message for the main country. The alchemist performed more and formed a giant spike on the hull of Brixham. Once free of the vortex the ship rammed into Saltspite head-on.

Nightmare shook his head in anger. "No! Get out of here! Get out while you still can!" As soon as the ship rammed into the enemy ship, the cloud faltered and withered away. "Twisting nether! You ruined my commandment!" He looked at the captain, pleadingly. "They won't relent at all. We have to get out of here now!"

Abdel was only under the spell for a few seconds until it was broken by the Saltspite making him confused about what happened than anything else. So he had to end this debacle once in for all. He ordered his second in command to do what he has to do. So his second in command raised his hands and green energy was released as the dead of the Brixham and those that the Saltspite has lost on the Brixham were suddenly were raised, got up and attacked the Brixham's living crew members.

Nightmare sensed a great energy of undead magic. "You really think you can school me in undead magic?" He lifted up his hand and released several beams of white magical energy that went theough each and every individual undead creature on both ships. "Purge" They suddenly began dying, becoming obsolete to anyone. "I'm going over there Captain."

The alchemist on the Brixham was working couple to true and see his allies through. They still had plenty of men left. The Hermorran patrol ship wasn’t going down without a fight, and a good one at that. Unlike The Green Serpent the Hermorrans were more prepared, more skilled, and overall more ready for the clash in arms

As the fight was happening heating to a high point the west a few vampire patrols spotted the battle and went to reinforce their allies around seven light frigates came by attacking the Calypso Knave while two of seven broke off and fired at The Brixham with each frigate having 25 guns on each side firing into the ship exposing the black powder on the inside.

Nightmare scowled. He waved his hands around to summon several stakes to go through the vampire hearts surrounding his ship.

The captain of Brixham scowled. “Send another message. There are multiple enemy ships. We could be facing a possible invasion as most, or just attacks on merchant ships at least.” His second in command nodded and prepared another bird with a new letter. No more than a few minutes later did it take off towards Hermorra.

This was troubling. The presence of so many enemy ships in the waters between Hermorra and Atheria was never a good sign. Especially now that Brixham was being attacked by multiple. “Turn this ship around and retreat!” The captain called. He wasn’t going to endanger his men’s lives for the sake of pride.

When the patrol frigates arrived many of the vampires and these ships seemed to fly the flags of the "Crismon Barons". A mercenary group that came from Lahmia. So the commander of this task forced named Anshul Kruber asked his quartermaster, "Henry, what is the situation that I am looking at." With Henry replying, " The Saltspite seems to have taken heavy damage but it seems we came just in time to rescue them and magic seems to play a major role but our runes can negate any magic effect that tries to go anywhere near our ships but it does leave us magicless, sir." Kruber nodded and seemed to like those odds as he had the rest of the five ships chase the Calypso Knave off the battlefield.

The Brixham began to flee and pull away from Saltspite. It’s sails filled with wind as it began to gain distance against the enemy ships. The alchemist on board was transmuting to spread materials and fix any bad damage to the ship.

Captain Abdel and his crew jumped aboard their allyship as the Brixham left. Abdel was looked at the Saltspite as multiple spikes came out of it, was slightly tilting one way but the sails, mast, and hull were barely intact. So in return for a lot of gold, Kruber was to ferry and transport the Saltspite back to Lahmia which made Abdel sigh. Once he returns back to the Kingdom of Shyish and explains himself to Nagash but if not him than Arkhan The Black which did want to face.

Meanwhile... Luthor Harkon was having a ball as he raided many convoys of ship cashing in over 2,500,000 in gold alone in a single day alone. Luthor was doing these because it provided adventure, fun, and laughs to him. Even though Nagash gave him a mission to find and capture Kuro and Nightmare for treason, Luthor decided to do it later and have a bit of fun and upgrade his ship and expand the crew. So here was now in a large bar in a major port-city known as Marinsburg. This City-State was known to be one of the largest single city-states with a large economy from trade that passes through it. So Luthor was getting his ship to expand even further and was recruiting living crew members to be less conspicuous to everybody abroad.

Felix wondered if things were okay on deck. She wasn’t allowed out anyways so she stayed inside the room with worries plaguing her thoughts. ‘Why aren’t I dead yet?’ She wondered with a semi-grim expression. ‘Jeez all this is straight out of a story book.’

Luthor was speaking with a couple of young boys hungry for adventure and the three boys kind of reminded him of his young self. They were naive but strong, weak but enduring. So after he recruited them he had to wait a week for expansion of the ship to be finished and he knows how.

He has gotten a couple of vampires' subordinates to come with him as the group left the city to head more inland to hunt for sport and find some treasure that someone may have left out.
