The rain had gotten worse as Star made her way down the darkened street. Her opal eyes slightly glowed as the water pasted them and hit the ground. Her clothes were soaked, but this couldn't stop her from finding the demon she had been chasing for hours now. Her body was aching from head to toe. The heeled boots seemed like a knife that stabbed into each foot as she ran down the sidewalk. "Stupid demon" She though as she came to a halt to catch her breath. "I may be half demon and human, but this is too much" She had previously fought the creature and taken a couple harsh wounds about her body. Since it was from a higher demon they took some time to heal.

Pulling her body forward she kept her pace at a walk since she could barely see anything in front of here. "This damn rain needs to stop" her mind yelled. Keeping her eyes peeled she couldn't seemed to find any trace of the escaped demon which seemed to be a now loss to her. The creature was fast, perhaps if she wasn't as harmed she could of kept up. Nevertheless she knew she had to give up for now and rest to give her body some time to heal.

Scanning about she found a small abused shed that had been abandoned. Entering it was a tad difficult seeing it was just bit enough to put a push mower and a few shelves into it, but it would have to do. Taking a seat she propped herself up against one of the back walls to rest.

Never piss the demon slayer off Zackary thought as he had fled down the streets,running through the pouring rain,it felt like hail raining down,even if he knew it wasent,all to escape the clutches of a demon hunter.His feet stung from ,the sprinting,from the running,from the walking,then running again.It felt as if someone had taken kerosine and a match and lit his feet ablaze,until all that was left was bone and ashes,it felt like that.He pressed his back against the wall of an alley,breathing heavily from all the running,everything around just looked hazy from the rain.He heard her footsteps,his breathing stopped for a moment,he heard the splashing of puddles as she walked by.Once he was almost sure she was gone he let out a breath he hadent realized he had been holding.He looked up at the sky,from the looks of the clouds the rain would last quite awhile longer.Drips of rain dripped from his hair and clothes,and raindrops ran down his face as he looked up in the clouds.One thought hit him. What if she finds me?

Closing her eyes Star hear the rain hitting the wooden roof that barely head the place together. It was peaceful for the moment and she seemed to enjoy it however she wasn't here to relax, but to kill a demon. Opening her opal eyes she looked down at her legs and then side to see the wounds had started to heal. "Good." She thought as she pulled herself to her feet. Patting the dirt off her backside she readjusted the holster that held her two twin pistols, Yin & Yang. Seeing that they were secured she slowly made her way to the entrance of the shed letting her eyes roam the darkness. "There not many places that he could hide." She mumbled looking up as she noticed the sky was starting to lighten up due to the sun starting to rise. However the rain was still going as strong as it had been for hours. After I find this demon then I will figure out the cause of this rain.

She then pushed herself back into the storm and jumped onto the roof of the nearest building to get a glance of the alleys. "Come out. Come out wherever you are..." She hummed to herself as she jumped from roof to roof.

After moments,minutes, he thought it was safe to leave the alley.He took his back off the wall and ventured back onto the sidewalk,back to walking,back to hiding,he figured she'd try to find him again,afterall,she seemed very determined to rid the world of him or something.His shoes splashed through puddles,him completly soaked,his hair not even looking red from the water pouring down on him.D*** it mothernature,of all days to make it rain.. he thought.Soon the morning would be here,but he knew it would have no effect on this rain anyhow.(mind semi blank moment.)

Glancing down as she jumped rooftop to rooftop Star caught glance of the demon boy. Thinks he can hide from me eh? She drew a pistol from her backside, however she didn't shot. The boy had entered into a large crowd of people that had appeared out of nowhere. "What the?" She muttered as she jumped onto another roof to get a better look.

After a moment she saw him emerge from the crowd and seemed to just be walking casually down the street. She pushed off the edge of the roof and landed a few feet away from him her heels making a loud thump as they hit the wet ground. "Give it up." She announced aiming her gun to the backside of his head. "There's nowhere else to hide."

((Just wing it lol add whatever you want there's really no plot just wanted to RP since I have very few that are interesting going on at the moment))

Zack walked through the crowd,but unsuprisingly,he had a little visitor awaiting him.He heard the thumb of her heels hit the wet ground.He looked over his shoulder at her,despite a gun being held to his head.“Back for more?” he asked.He looked at the gun pointed to his head then back at her.Can't have that,now can we? I'd rather survive today than die this morning..He made a shadow take her gun,the one that was pointed to his head,he aimed it at her.Reverse sequence as most people would say in this situation.

Star blinked as her gun had disappeared then as she looked up to see a shadow holding it in her direction she reached for her other. "Using your shadow tricks just make you seem even more weak." She said her tone a tad uneasy. He was an odd demon perhaps he was of a higher kind? She was unsure of what sort of demon he was if of any.

Slowly she pulled the other gun to aim it at the shadow form. Pulling the trigger it hit the edge of the gun it was holding making it fly off across the sidewalk behind her. However it didn't phase the form at all.

The shadow held the gun directed at her.Zack shrugged,and smirked a slight bit.“Depends on how one sees it.Some fear me for it,others arent afraid to take a chance with a shadow demon.”.Next he knew his gun went flying.Sadly in Stars direction Well that sucks...oh well. he thought.So there he stood,once again,soaking wet,and still getting soaking wet,with only his shadows as his only weapon.

Star aimed her second pistol at the shadow that was protecting the boy. "State your name and what sort od demon you are." She announced in the most demanding voice she had, which didn't seem to much counting she had a very shy like voice. The rain had slightly eased up, but only for a few minutes then it went back to pouring. Probably going to get a cold or something standing out in this mess.. Her mind groaned as she was now starting to hate the rain.

Zack didn't care if she shot the shadow about,plenty of other shadows in this world,and plenty inside himself.“I don't see why you'd give a dam* about that.” he said in a calm but bitter tone.“But hell.Zacks my name.What kind of demon you ask? Shadow.Your welcome for that semi useless information.” he said as a raindrop ran down his face,rain dripped from every inch of his hair,and his clothes drenched.He didn't seem to mind the rain though.

Nudging off the smartass-like tone Star lowered her pistol and made run for the other gun laying on the ground. As she darted past the boy she heard the clash of thunder coming from the shy above. Her hands met the small weapon as she stood aiming it at the shadow demon's figure. "Alright now Zack, Why are you here?" Though before the other could reply she felt a sudden pain in her lower side. What the?.. Looking down she saw a large gash into her pale flesh that now began to gush a tad of ruby blood onto the wet sidewalk. Turning her attention back to Zack she saw he hadn't lunged any sort of attack, but was just standing there hands in his pockets. Puzzled she used her free hand to hold the wound and the other still aimed at the male.

"What was that?!" She asked in a shocked tone.

He watched her, not attacking, yet.Like a magician waiting to reveal the trick that was up his sleeve.Wait until the crowd suspects nothing, then reveal the secret.When she asked her question, before he could respond, something caught his eye.The glimpse of ruby red blood, dripping onto the sidewalk, the female figures blood.He looked her in the eyes, well, with the one eye he could actually SEE with.He shrugged slightly, "no idea."

Growling slightly under her breath she cursed the demon. "So you didn't just now attack me eh?" She asked knowing the smarty would most likely give a rude reply like all the others. "Answer or I'll shoot you!" She hissed nudging her gun up to make him remember where it was aimed.

He didn't really care that she cursed, he didn't really care that she injured either.His eyes looked down at the gun, that was aimed at his chest, his heart.He looked her back in the eyes."No," he answered."I didn't attack.."

Glancing around the rain had made a dark colored fog that now covered most of the city making it almost impossible to see even a foot in front of you. "Dammit." She spat returning her gun to its holder. As she did she heard a sudden thump a few feet from the two. Turning she only saw a pair of golden eyes that was clearly visible through he fog. Quickly redrawing the weapon she aimed it at the eyes and fired.

Slowly the fog had lightened up showing nothing stood where the eyes were. Still holding the gun ready Star turned to Zack. "Did you see that?"

He was bored of this girl, oh so bored.But that changed when he heard the thump a few feet away.He looked in the dirction of the thump, but he couldn't see the cause for the fog.But he did see a figure, an outline.He looked at Star, as she shot towards the outine.He didn't waste shadows on it."Yeah, I seen it" he answered

Glaring at the idiot she swore. "Why didn't you go after it then?" She argued what seemed forever until in a mere moment she was in the air and then crashing hard against on of the building walls. Struggling to stand she cursed again looking up to see what the hell hit her. the creature was a good 9 feet tall, fat, and ugly like some sort of pig that had been hit with a bus or something.

"Didn't feel like it" he answered simply.Why help a threat.A why help an official enemy.Nuh uh, no way.He looked up at Star who was in airborn for a second then was thrown against a wall.He looked to see what had caused that but the creature picked him up and threw him against the wall.He hit the wall hard, and he ran down the wall to a sitting position on the ground.The back of his head had hit the wall.He shook his head and looked up seeing the ugly as **** creature.

Grunting the creature chuckled or what seemed to be some sort of laughter as it turned to face Zack. Leaning forward it darted toward him not giving him a moment to spare.

Star had stood as she was starting to heal mostly. Chanting a few odd sounding words she held out a hand as a long crystal sword formed there. Grabbing it she jumped toward the beast swinging the weapon to its back making it instantly split and blood flowed.

Just as the monster was about to attack Zack, he scattered to his feet, and dodged the attack, barely.He watched as Star slashed its back causing a gash, and blood to flow.But, this creature healed fast, not even seconds later, the wound was gone.A aura of shadows surrounded Zack, and he used that against the beast.He practically threw the beast into a building.It went through the brick....
