"This is London. 1873," he smiled, looking over at her, "It's where I live."

" wow" Avalon said looking around.

"How old are you anyway?" He asked with hiss head tilted to the side.

" 23" Avalon said looking at him " Im Avalon by the way" she said with a smile

"Nelìs," he grinned as he held a hand out to her.

Avalon shook his hand " its nice to meet you, i dont see why my father dont trust you. You seem nice to me" she said

"He thinks I can't control my talent. I can, but if I let go at the slightest things could turn bad," he stated, folding his arms over his chest as the room returned to being the simple library it was before.

" im the same way" Avalon said " some things i still cant fully master.. even with my fathers help" she said sighing looking down a little " hes very over potective of me"

"Well you're twenty three," he looked over at her, "you should be on your own now. I'm only twenty four."

" i know.. but.. hes to protective of me to let me go" she said sitting down " i love my father an all.. but keeping me locked up like im still a little kid is not right" she said

Out side the door Kava fround lisoning to the conversation.

He sat down beside her, "I suppose I could relate.. If I had a beautiful daughter I'd be protective of her too, but it's good to experience the world seeing what you should stay away from and where you should be."

Feeling bad for the girl he tried to formulate a solution, "Have you ever asked him about it?"

" he wont lison to me.. he just always saiz i'm to fragile to be out in the world." she said

"Are you?" he asked jokingly although he very much knew what she would say.

"Well.. Healing magic dont work on my.. my powers cancle them out.. the only person who is able to heal me if im badly hurt is my father" she said

"Which power of yours cancels it out?" He tilted his head. He'd used his talent many times to heal himself, but he's never heard of someone's 'canceling out' before.

my own healing powers.. they wont alow anyone but my father to heal me oddly" she said

The young lad thought a moment before slowly opening his mouth to speak, "Not to make your father seem like a bad man, but.. Has it ever crossed your mind that maybe.. he took your access to those powers? Because he doesn't want you to leave?"

" I.. dont know.. i dought he would ever do that" she said sighing a little looking down a bit sad looking

Nelìs sighed then smiled at her, "Well don't think too hard. Wouldn't want you to worry." He stood up, helping her stand as well, "I'll leave you to your reading.. For now." With that he kissed her cheek lightly, books in hand and walked through a wall.

Avalon blushed softly after he left.


Kava shook his head and sighed walking off to his studdy
