He smiled back at her and his wings abruptly expanded and enclosed around her, pulling her up to him, "Do you consider me a friend?"

Avalon nodded " yeah, your not dangerous i dont see why my dad dont like you" she said

He shrugged, but he wouldn't puzzle over it, "Maybe he thinks I'd be the one to take you away."

" i dont know" Avalon said with a sigh

"But I won't deny it," he chuckled as he settled back down to the ground, dispersing his wings.

Avalon return to her human form and smiled softly.

It had been at least a week and a half living in the mansion with Kava and his daughter, Avalon whom Nelìs grew very fond of. Although he was told to stay away by her father, he met with her everyday in the library or the garden. Sometimes he'd watch her sleep, but she didn't know that. Something was sparking between the two and was getting stronger every day.

Nelìs was in the library, waiting for Avalon to wake up and walk in like she always did. He chuckled at the thought of her croaky voice and disheveled hair in the morning, but he that she was gorgeous nonetheless.

Avalon rubbed her eyes walking into the lybrary " morning nilse" She said smiling happy as she walk over to him smileing brightly " how did you sleep?" she asked him

"Perfectly," he took her hand and brought it up to his lips, "and how about you, Avalon?"

" grate thanks" she said smiling happily " so what do you wish to do today?" she asked him with another flowless smile.

He hadn't exactly heard her question because his mind was elsewhere. He took in the beautiful smile displayed on her lips, wanting to feel then against his own and unintentionally, he began to lean in.

Avalon blinked " What are you doing?" she asked a bit confused.

He paused merely an inch away from her face and immediately stepped back, "I'm sorry. I.. Suppose I got carried away."

Avalon blushed a little, and brushed her hair away from her face. " i dont think my father would take to kindly if he found us kissing" she said looking away a bit.

He grinned at her shyness then sighed, "I don't think he would either, but... I think you should decide for yourself."

Avalon looked at him, she dident know what she wanted.. how she was feeling was new to her, she liked him.. alot, But how long would that last if her father found out.

Nelìs could see her confusion that was written clearly on her lovely face. She was struggling with the internal conflict of betraying her father and doing what she wanted.

"I just want you to be happy," Nelìs smiled at her gently.

Avalon looked at him with sad eyes " but i don't know what to do" she said looking down sadly.
