Cassie laughed as she dodged the police's stun guns, flipping off walls and other things. She didn't bother using her sword because the policemen were too slow, or maybe she was just too fast. Cassie narrowly missed another gun and quickly got bored playing with the police. She bolted down the street, towards the richer neighborhood, and looked for a place to hide. Something caught her eye by a narrow alleyway to her right, catching her attention. This gave the police the perfect chance to get her.

"Hey!! Watch it!!" Cassie yelled as a female officer tackled her to the ground and threw her sword across the road. "Don't screw up my sword!! It cost allot of money!" Cassie continued screaming, oblivious to the people poking their heads out of their windows. The female officer put cuffs on Cassie and reached for her radio on her shoulder to call for a wagon. This city had no cars, only wagons and horses. For some odd reason only certain electronics work, like cellphones, lights, plumbing, AC, etc. There were no cars, trucks, T.v's, handheld gaming consoles or anything else like that in this huge city.

Cassie relaxed on the ground, positive she wasn't going to get out of this one unless she wanted to shock herself. Sighing, she laid her head against the uneven cobblestone street and waited to be taken to the prison, again. I've been there how many times now.... 8 I think.. They might make me a permanent member this time. But, that old coot deserved to have his fruit exploded, and it was funny.

"hey " a voice called from above as Cassie was held to the ground by cops " what do you think you're doing" it called again. The cops immediately looked up and around till they saw a girl sitting on a fire escape. she had short white hair, a nose ring and an eyebrow ring that were visible, she also wore all black except for her white jacket that stood out. " Stay out of this, Its none of your concern" Called one of the cops.The girl then tilted her head at the cop and jumped down 4 stories from the fire escape to the ground, nearly giving cops heart attacks. " well i guess you are right, but i must protest what you're doing here, i mean that fruit vendor did deserve to have his fruit blow up" she said shrugging and looking down at cassies " right he was a total jerk and he was bribing people to not squeal about where he gets his fruit from." she said looking back at the cop "What are you talking about" one of the cops asked getting quite annoyed " i meeeaan , he steals his fruit from old lady nina's orchards and sells them as his own... i mean if that doesnt get you to wanna blow up his fruit what should. and besides what not blown up can go back to mrs.nina" she said as she cracked her knuckles. the cops now were considering what the girl said and as the considered they totaly forgot about cassie and even let go of her givening her an escape route.

Cassie took this opportunity to get up and run towards a man hole. "Thanks!" Cassie yelled over her shoulder as she stomped on the ground, causing the manhole cover to fly into the air. She hopped down the hole, zapping the cuffs off of her wrists painfully. "YOUCH I HATE METAL." She cried but kept running. She knew she was going to meet the girl again sometime, if she didn't follow Cassie down the manhole.

The girl smiled as cassie escaped the girl smiled as the cops tried to chase her, but she interfered. She side kicked one of the cops in the jaw throwing him into the other cop tossing them in the wall she the smiled sweetly " hope we don't meet again" she said as she picked up the man hole cover "oh and don't' forget to investigate that fruit vendor guys kay" the girl then raised the man hole cover over her head then jumped into the hole closing it with the cover very tightly so the cops couldn't re-open it. once down there she laughed to her self as she heard the cops cursing loudly

Cassie heard the manhole cover slam behind her as the tunnel was submerged in darkness again. Sighing, she ripped of her sleeve and stuck it on a piece of driftwood in the sewer. She snapped hhher fingers and the cloth caught fire instantly, bringing light back. "Let there be light." She said with a smile as she waited for the girl that saved her life.

Misaki fell down and landed on her feet in the fire lit tunnel "hey there " she said with a smile " that was a close one huh" She continued as she cracked her knuckles and neck " by the way , i'm Misaki Tao and you are"

"Yeah..." Cassie commented. "You can call me Cassie when we aren't around cops. When we are, Call me Thunder." Cassie replied, stretching a bit. "So, why did you help me?" Cassie asked out of the blue.

misaki squatted to wear she could look directly into the fire " because you didn't deserve what they were doing , its the fruit vender who should have been treated like that" she said as she slowly put her hands out to warm them with the fire. " besides i would have done the same thing you did"

"Well, it was fun blowing it up...." Cassie laughed, lighting another piece of driftwood and handing it to the girl. Cassie looked the girl over with the corner of her eye and watched her movements, suspicious of everyone she meets now.

misaki took the wood from cassie and starred at its glow " you don't have to look so suspisous of me , if i was going to harm you i would have done it already , im not one to dillydally" she said as she glanced up at cassie
