Tobias walked into the woods. his father had told him these woods were enchanted. as he walked into them he began to finger his pointed ear. he wasn't nervous after all, he was doing this for the human king. the humans were ine of his people's enemies, but if he succeeded in his quest then they would sign a treaty. he just hoped his bow and magic were enough.
Mundane? What's that? Magic permeates every part of the setting. Almost everyone has access to strong magic.
Iron age
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
Romance isn't outright desired, but can happen if we decide the characters are perfect for each other. The romance won't be important to the overall plot.
Details: Occasional dice use, paragraphs required, long-term RP partner preferred. Will be played with a large group of players.

come right in. did I explain ok? if I didn't here's the start of the story ( I don't make big plots cuz I know how much characters can go away from the plot.):
the elves and humans have been fighting for a while but now a new enemy has arrived and sent them into a dissaray. they havent been able to find out what kind of enemy this is. however they still haven't been able to sign a treaty because the new enemy has begun to destroy all of the routes that the messengers would take. Tobias is meant to bring a letter to arthur, king of the humans. he was told by the council of elders from the elves. on the way I'm hoping that as he goes he will meet more people.
all elves are born with a single type of magic that they can do really well, but they must still work on it or it will fade away to nothingness before the age of 10. Tobias has worked day and night on his. they are also born with extreme proficiency in a single weapon, but again it can fade, and again Tobias has worked day and night on his.
humans aren't born with much for power or strength but they are more versatile and their abilities don't fade as quickly. they can learn all sorts of magic, although it will be weaker than an elf's. they can also learn all sorts of weaponry, but again can't get as strong.
all in all elves are concentrates and powerful ( unless u pm me and we talk) and humans are versatile but slightly weaker.

I think it will be in forums so people can continue to join us. we can start now, just I would like others to join as we go along. we don't have to wait for them but I'm prolly gonna let anybody that wants to join and has a good character to join in.
