Vladimir (played by HRA)

"Well we have something rather similar in our infantry holds here. We call them Space Marines at home, but there's many names for them. Commandos, special forces, anything, really. There's only a few legion out there, 10,000 each. Just a single company is a strain on resources, mainly because they're so... Well, you'll see. We spread them out on different ships, so there's always, at minimal, a platoon on the ship. But on carriers, super carriers, battleships and the like? Oh, that's where it gets crazy," Vladimir said, and put a hand on his comms, nodding at the captain. They knew what was going on.

"I hope you don't mind that we celebrate after the Dawn is repaired, then? As a sort of, rechristening of a ship, or perhaps, a pair? I'm sure we can do something to help your sister ship. Oh, it's the least I can do. You'd do the same if you were in my position, and after all, it's the right thing to do." Vladimir said, standing with his captain, and two guards. They were there just for ceremony, as Vlad pretty much trusted Luca with the safety. And he would make sure that they were safe, too. "Oh, you might want to see this, Luca. If you and your crew want to follow me, I think you'll like this. The Escorts are coming in, and the way they look is just phenomenal."

And it would be, too. There was an observation point, a second command center for underwater operations. It was set up like a sort of battleship/aircraft carrier set up, with a few gun turrets with lance, plasma, or projectile guns operating in front of it for protection, and the middle open for the landing of fighter craft. There was, of course, hundreds of anti aircraft guns, in a square pattern. On top was two double barreled 100mm cannons on each section, and the bottom two sections were quad barreled 45mm Lance guns. This observation point, however vulnerable, was the best place to be if you wanted a 360 view of the battlefield or space. Vlad often went up there, into a private observation deck when he wanted to be alone.
Robert (played by HvyArtillery)

Emergency lighting washed over the Liberator's bridge as medical personnel attended to his wounded sensors officer. Robert looked grim as he watched the Centurion. It had only been a few minutes into the battle and the fleet had already taken losses. The Centurion was firing all of it's weapons into the Earth fleet and ship after ship was being destroyed. Despite this, the fleet remained in formation, and dutifully fired shot after shot at their assigned portion of the Centurion's shield grid. the plan was that the fleet would concentrate fire on the Centurion's frontal shields. Eventually, with enough of a whooping, the shields would shutdown and the carrier's would launch they're fighter to slip inside the shield before the centurion could compensate for the holes in it's shielding and wreak havoc on it's defenses. This was the same plan used in the last battle against a Centurion and it had ended in a victory. Unfortunately, this Centurion was bigger, meaner, and angrier than the previous four, and Robert was beginning to doubt the fleet's capabilities in defeating it.

Robert was shook out of his train of thought when the officer manning the communication console called him.

"Sir?"

"What is it, Lieutenant?" Robert asked.

"Sir, the Fleet Admiral's flagship is sending out a distress signal."

"Is she damaged?" The Captain asked, concerned.

"That's the thing, sir. It's in near-perfect condition."

"Let's hear it."

The lieutenant fiddled around with the console until the recognizable voice of the Fleet Admiral was blaring through the speakers.

"... This is Fleet Admiral Philips to all sentient lifeforms of the galaxy. A Centurion invasion is underway, requesting any combat capable vessels to come to Primus IV to assist in the defense of the galaxy, I repeat, this is Fleet Admiral Philips..."

Robert grew even more grim. if the Fleet Admiral was reaching out to others to help in the battle, then he knew that the Centurion was too strong for humanity to fight it by itself. Despite this, Robert ordered the crew to fire everything they had at the Centurion. Hopefully, they may be able to hold back the Centurion until the rest of the galaxy was ready to respond.
