The plot is extremely flexible, new characters and players are easy to introduce on a constant basis, and there are plenty of roles for everybody!

Drop into a world of utter fantasy, chaotic politics, and a government on the verge of a civil war. Participate in varying factions around the magical world of Lye, each with an interest all their own.

Elementals - The five rulers of Lye, each having a different motive, different allegiances, and different schemes in place to try and rob the other four of their power.

Inmates - A group torn between utter neutrality, their firm loyalty toward Theo, or their absolute hatred for him.

The Scarred Crystal Rebels - Terrorist group opposed to all forms of government, against all the elementals, Theo included.

Citizens - Largely neutral, but swimming with various spies, accomplices, and varying allegiances.

I'm interested, but I have some questions.

1. What species are are allowed? You didn't clarify on that.

2. Why are scholar only male? Will there be any female only roles?

3. Does an elemental HAVE to try and steal power from the other four? Or can there be 1-2 neutral ones?

4. Exactly what kind of land is Lye? Can you describe it?


I'm rather tempted to make a Lightning/Storm elemental, but I kinda need to have those questions answered before I could make a character.

It is an island, that much is certain. Perhaps it is like Deadman Wonderland. In any case, I have not done a prison-esque roleplay and the plot does seem to be rather sound, so I may send a character to become an inmate.

A lot of that information is on Theo's actual site, but I am constantly finding things I've missed, so every little bit helps. I won't make ya' search though, so...!

1. All species are allowed, but only those that would naturally be found in an earth setting. If that makes any sense: Reptiles, mammals, and things of that nature. I just wouldn't want to see any aliens or strange abominations roaming around without a proper reason for them to exist.

2. The society is kind of old fashioned in some regards, typically meaning that males will have a slightly higher standing than females on most occasions. Scholars are an important role in the society because they're the only ones capable of fully controlling the various magical elements of the world without having them from birth - therefor, it has been restricted to males.

Roles are just a guideline and I would welcome any further role ideas, like if you should come up with a reasonable role for only a female to fill.

3. No, an elemental doesn't have to try and steal power, they can be neutral, but they still have to interact with the other four accordingly. They are officials of Lye and won't be able to ignore a power struggle - the elementals are largely there to balance the nation.

4. You'll have to look at Theo's site for this one, because that page is rather lengthy, but can still do with more information should there be any further questions.

Quick edit: Theo is the current electrical elemental, therefor the only others available would fire, water, earth, and wind!

Well, we would love to have you. Nothing has started just yet, as you probably noticed, but I'm sure things will get underway very shortly!

Could I reserve the wind elemental? I would get started on it now, except I was a giant glutton and drank so much ice water that I gave myself a stomachache. *Shakes fist at 90 degree weather* I'll get started later tonight when my tummy isn't mad at me anymore. >.<

Of course! I was actually afraid some people might be a little timid toward playing an elemental. Show me wha'cha can do and I'll make sure it's held for ya' until that point.

Quick edit! Elementals, just in case this detail was overlooked, will have to have eyes akin to their element! You can be creative with it!

I ended up deciding that I wanted the water elemental as the character I ended up making in my head wound up fitting that element more.
