It is meant to take place in a modern superhero setting, but I'm willing to hear alternitives.
Omega is one of my oldest character and is meant to be my world's idea of superman and while I have a setting pre made for him im happy to make it more earth like or whatever else you may be interested in.

Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
Distant war may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat will likely be summarized, not played out in detail.
Romance isn't outright desired, but can happen if we decide the characters are perfect for each other. The romance won't be important to the overall plot.
