There has been an increase in monsters. Mages call it a blessing, while others call it a curse. When the problem only grew, there was a small group that specialed in hunting these monsters. People just call the Monster Hunters or Slayers. They can hunt these monsters safely with the weapons they have, and their certain traits in their Genes. They will use weapons, like swords guns to help them take down monsters and the people to take them down. However, not only monsters will have a bounty on their heads.

Magic may be accepted as truth but is not common. It might be harnessed only by specific beings. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones.
Industrial revolution
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
Romance is desired but not required, and will balance evenly with other plot.
Details: Character sheets & strict mechanics, concise post-length, long-term RP partner preferred. Will be played with a large group of players.
