The world is no longer the same everyone is gone....moaning and groaning can be heard every step you take. A little girl's family is killed infront of her. She's killed next. Our world has been taken over with what we fear the most zombies.
It was just another day for all of us we all were fine and everyone was happy until we saw it.
It was just walking funny limping and growling. No one knew what to make of it until it bit one of us.
The more it ate the more it spread it's disease. A disease there was no cure for.
Everyone was frightened and scared. The government couldn't save us no one could so we all defended for ourselves. Killing each other and them.
We called them Zombies. Beings of which when killed as a human come back alive to eat us.
That's not the worse thing about it.
Some are huge! Some are runners, some just limp and some crawl
We can't defeat them, we can only live past them or they live past us.
There could be hope...if we created the cure....a man has it....some man in a bunker alone....
though it has been years I doubt that man is still alive.....
Will we all die and become one of them? Or will we have our cure and survive.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
Romance is slightly desired, but the overall plot is more important.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred. Will be played with a small group of players.
