Luell looked at him as he talked and nodded,"You're gods seem much more...well..."she just couldn't find the word,"I think I would prefer your gods to my own..."she said softly then looked forward, clasping her hands together behind her back.
"Your Greek gods are petty and narcissistic. Most of them anyways. Hera even threw her own son off a cliff just because he was ugly. I pity Hephaestus," Nomti shook his head, "I've met him once. I travelled with several of my brothers as an escort to Ptah, the god of invention. Hephaestus and Ptah were sharing plans for some new weapon. It will be several thousand human years in the making though, which is quite unfortunate."
Luell smiled a bit as he mentioned a personal friend of hers,"Yes, I agree with everything you say."she rubbed her arms,"Hephaestus actually made these for me."she pointed down to the golden anklets with small golden leaves dangling from them.
"That was kind," Nomti smiled at her, "He is a good god," Nomti noted and looked around, "This forest is beautiful."
Luell glanced back at him and smiled,"Then you understand why I lived here for so long?"she held out a hand and small bird swooped down, landing in her hand.
Nomti watched with a smile, "That's neat. I can summon mummies... And giant scorpions."
Her eyes widened and she tuned her head to look at him,"That's amazing!"she smiled widely as she stroked the birds feathers.
He thought for a moment, "Also I'm fire proof... That's a big plus..." he scratched one of his long, soft ears, " I can also summon scorpion men. They're like centaurs, but with lower halfs that are giant scorpions and they have scorpion claws instead of hands."
She looked to him in awe,"Oh if only I was fire proof..."she sighed sadly them smiled to him,"Those are quite the skills. Must be useful, do you often come intact with fire?"she asked.
"Actually, there isn't a lot of fire in Egypt. It's just really really hot," he shrugged, "Erebus has a lot of fire though."
Luell nodded,"Oh, I see."she smiled a bit and continued to walk. It took a while but eventually they could see a town off in the distance.
"There aren't many snakes here are there?" he asked suddenly and worriedly, "I-I really REALLY don't like snakes..."
Luell raised an eyebrow and shook her head,"No...not often at least. Perhaps maybe a few small garden snakes. I think thats what thye refer to them as..."she shrugged and smiled reassuringly.
"Okay... Good," he said and calmed down, "I just don't like big snakes."
Luell continued to smile and a transparent cloak could be seen for a just second before it disappeared,"I don't think large snakes are often here...usually near the water."
"How big can the snakes here get?"
Luell took a moment to think,"Well...it really depends on the area. If we were close to the water then perhaps we could see huge serpents but where we currently are only small snakes."
He shuddered a bit, "L-let's stay away from lakes then..."
The Nymph giggled softly and nodded with a smile,"Yes, we won't be going near any water for a while any ways."she glanced back at him, the smile still on her lips.
"Where is the underworld passage anyways?" he asked and looked around with his big ears twisting and flicking about and taking in each sound.
