I just joined this site today and looking to shake off the RPing dust and jump right into it. As the title suggests, I’m looking for active RPs that have this idea in mind. Basically a Fantasy Comedy Horror. If there aren’t any available at the moment, would anyone be interested in exploring my own concept?
A small group of adventurers are sent on a king’s errand to investigate odd happenings throughout the land. Magic is very low key in this world as it was outlawed centuries ago, reserved only for the most qualified of wizards. The character I’ve yet to create will be one of those types, likely the king’s very own magical advisor. Truth be told, the king was getting pretty irritated with the wizard, so he made up this quest just to get him out of the castle. The wizard, however, has taken this task rather seriously, and has formed a special group to investigate these occurrences for the good of the kingdom. Unbeknownst to all parties involved, an actual supernatural threat has unearthed itself from an ancient library, and is hellbent on reeking havoc across the land!
Looking for 2-3 easygoing active players that can post concise and engaging paragraphs. I’d like for this to be a lighthearted story with a lot of action and adventure, with some minor scary moments sprinkled in. If this is something that interests you, please message me privately so we can discuss further! I’ll update this thread as soon as I figure out how to create my wizard character on here.

You know what, this sounds promising. Count me in! But where would we RP this?
Thanks everyone for showing interest! I might have to hold off on this idea for now, as I have something else more thoroughly planned. I'll be sure to keep you posted
