Alright, I've noticed how awesome some users profiles look with pictures and for some reason I'm having an annoying amount of trouble simply adding some to my own! It would be incredibly helpful if someone could help me understand how to do it. Thanks!
Whenever you find a picture, right click it and press 'copy', make sure you don't press 'copy link'. And you probably know, but be sure to add the [url][/url] and you're set. For Youtube just copy the link and use '[youtube]
Alright, I've tried it a few times now but whenever I try to paste it never gives me the option. This is seriously starting to bug me ughhh
Computer. I right click it, it says copy image so I click it then when I try to paste it it doesn't give me the option. Then when I click the little picture icon at the top of where you edit your profile text it try to paste it to the little url thingy that pops up, still doesn't let me paste.
It doesn't even let me do other options *sigh* Either I'm horrible with computers or my computer just doesn't give an option. Oh well.
Ok. So.. Hmm.. Press the picture button then highlight where it says undefined and right click and see if paste comes up.
I tried doing something like that already *flips table* Screw it! >3<
Perfect!
I swear, by Voldemorts non-existent nose....I will figure out how to add pictures!!!!

You need to press "Copy Image URL" for this to work, actually. Copying the image will copy the picture literally, and you need the URL. Then use this code:
Code:
[img]Your Image URL Here[/img]
I think your instructions are backward, SpilledInk!
If the picture is already uploaded to an image storage site like flickr, right click the image and choose "Copy image URL"
Then on your RPR profile, when editing a text widget, click the picture icon in the edit bar -- it's between U and the link button, and looks like so:
You'll then paste the URL in and click "OK".
The result will be something that looks like so:
If you choose "copy image" rather than "Copy image URL", what you are copying is the pixel information. That can be pasted into an image editing program, but not a browser.
Of course, please don't do this with images that don't belong to you or with images that the artist has not given you specific permission to use. Just because something shows up in a Google image search does not mean that it is free to use!
