What is this woman's problem?! Hotaru thinks. Her gaze irritated Hotaru, and her body language reeked of arrogance. smiles sweetly. "Excuse me, but would you like to stop staring at me before I shove your eyes down your throat so you can watch me claw you from inside?"

Leith looked over as he felt much tension in the air,"This is quite something."he walked over until he stood besides the Paladin,"Care to explain what is going on?"he asked with an amused expression as he watched the two women ho looked ready to pounce on each other.

"Really that wasn't evwn considered a threat..." Momoko thought, and ignored what Hataru said.

Momoko stood up straight and starred at Thaila "there is one thing I have to ask of you, have you seen a demon around the city the city? There have been various killings of people being killed by being gashed in the back." Momoko crossed her arms thinking "there hasn't been a logical explanation for all the mysterious kills, but I'm surw its a demon, or a illegal reincarnation."

Hotaru smirked and turned her attention to Leith, for no particular reason than to calm herself. And the sight of the crimson haired stranger was helping none.

"When I know, I'll be sure to clue you in." Thalia muttered to Leith under her breath. When the redhead turned to address her, though, the Paladin straightened up. "Unfortunately, no, I haven't seen any demon, though I have heard of such killings." The woman frowned. As much as she disliked the other at the moment, her moral code requested that she speak the truth. "A young mother was killed in this down one week ago....the month before that, it was the three boys in Issactown. Even before that, a young couple was found dead just inside the outer walls of the Crystal City." The Paladin's jaw worked itself in a momentary show of frustration. She hated to harp on the failure of the City Guard, even if it was by her own admission. "Whatever being you may be tracking seems to be headed east."

((Heading to dinner soon. If I disappear, I'll be back in an hour or so.))

Momoko crossed her arms trying to think. "Hmm... these are the same killings, the local guards were talking about, bit they said something about ot going north." Momoko mumbled, and crossed her arms. Momoko frowned "this is going to be difficult..." Momoko mumbled.

The longer Hotaru stared at Leith, the more she noticed. She eyes Leith, a small smile playing across her face. The rouge was handsome if nothing else.

Leith glanced to the neko, an eyebrow raised slightly as he noticed her staring at him for a particular amount of time. He offered a polite smile before his grey eyes flickered forward.

Momoko looked over at Leith, and walked in his direction. "Do you might know something?" Momoko asked politely and smiling at Leith.

Hotaru's smile shifted to a full on grin. She even considered approaching him, but decided against it. She would let him come to her.

Leith blinked and his eyes shifted to the girl with red hair in front of him,"About these killings?"he took a moment to think, running a hand slowly through his hair out of habit,"I have heard of such things, such as the demon is more of a...changeling so it will be difficult to find."he shrugged.

Momoko starred down "fufufufu..." Momoko mumbled feeling a little bit irritated, no one knew where it was. Momoko looked up at Leith and smiled "thank you very much!" Momoko said cheerfully

Leith nodded politely,"I'm sorry I do not have more information but my mind has been focused on other things."his eyes glance dto the neko as he noticed a grin, the corners of his mouth twitching up in a smile.

Momoko glanced over at the neko and smiled. "I believe we got off on.the wrong foot, my name is Momoko, if you don't want to gibe your name away it's fine!" Momok said smiling and standing up straight, snd lifting up her hand.

Hotaru ignores Momoko's extended hand completely, and stares at Leith. "My name is Hotaru Kemon. I come from a clan of nekos, but my clan was destroyed. Pleased to meet you." Hotatu pulls back her hood, to reveal her face, which was beautiful, yet distinctly feline. Blood red tiger stripes adorn her cheeks, for head, and cat ears,as well as a few piercings on her left ear. "You may call me Hota."

Leith slipped next to her with curious eyes and lightly touched her soft cat ears,"Well aren't you something lovely. Hiding such beauty, it's a crime."he teased then pulled his hand back, a smile plastered to his charming face.

Momoko dropped her hand, and walked over towards Hota. "You may call my Momo if you like!" Momoko said cheerfully, abd smiled, "born in hell raised on earth, you remind me of tighers!" Momoko leaned in forward "gosh I'm stupid..." Momoko thought.

Hotaru smiles, and flicks her ear playfully. "Sometimes one is noticed by someone they wish hadn't. This... Is not one of those times." Hotaru flashes an impish fanged grin.

Hotaru smiles, her mood instantly improved by Leith's flirting. "Alright then Momo."
