Hotaru raises an eyebrow. "I don't think that name is within your best interest." Hotaru stares at Momo, perplexed. This child... She's too perky, Hota thought.
Hotaru's emerald green eyes flickred over to meet Leith's and she smiles, running her hand through her curly mass of inferno red hair.
Leith absentmindedly shifted his position, as he stuffed his cloak in the bag that loosely hung from his back. He glanced to Hotaru and smiled crookedly,"Hey there."he dropped his bag onto a neatby chair. Now, a large chain scythe could be seen on his back.
Hotaru smiled. "Hello... Is that your weapon of choice?" Hota smiles, and motions to his scythe.
Leith blinked and turned his head,"Yes."he pulled it from the straps that held it in place, grasping the small twin scythes on each end of the chain,"Very fun weapon."
Leith chuckled,"Well you haven'tseen me use it, besides this isn't the only weapon I have."he lowered his hands and smiled to her.
Hotaru leans forward, really only to be closer to Leith. "What other weapons do you have?" Hotaru had a hard time focusing on much else then Leith, including the conversation.
Leith returned his chain scythe to the restraints on his back then began to dig through his bag, setting a few ninja stars on the table, a dagger or two as well as a short as long the area from elbow to his fingers,"Some usual rogue stuff."he shrugged, looking back to her before he put everything away.
Leith shrugged with a chuckled,"Yes I suppose. I can duel weild swords as well but Itend to use the scythe or that smaller balde I had shown you."
Leith's eyes lit up as well,"I would love to."he grinned and took a step back to give her room.
"You think those are weapons," Dmitri rolled his eyes as he watched them discuss.
Leith looked to him,"Some do not have the skill to use as many weapons as you do. Sometime ssticking to one is the best, and the chain scythe happened to be my best."he said with a steady voice.
Hotaru reaches under the bottom of her cloak, and retrieves a small dagger. She grins proudly, and sets the weapon on the table, her eyes gleaming with playful mischief.
Already fighting the beginnings of a headache, Thalia gave Velan a look of long-suffering, as if to ask "Is this the best we can get? These gossipy young ones?" The Ranger offered his companion a slight shrug. Beggers couldn't be choosers, and these were the first volunteers they'd found in months. What choice did they have?
"I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm going to turn in early." Velan spoke up, making a show of stretching his arms above his head. "The Black Forest is no easy trek, and I want to be plenty rested." Miming a yawn (which turned partway into a real one), the man waved over his shoulder at the group as he headed for the stairs at the back of the inn, and the room he'd already paid for. "See the lot of you in the morning."

Leith glanced over to the ranger and nodded,"es, that's sounds like a good idea."he smiled a bit, his eyes tired,"I suppose I'll head off then as well. Good night Hatoru."he smiled and stroked her ear once more before he grabbed his back, slinging it over his shoulder,"Good night to everyone else as well."he waved slightly as he walked out of the inn.
