The Covenant military left from the facilities and forwarded to the rebel base to support the current forces there fighting the rebels.
The Covenant forces at the Rebel base were swarming the outpost, outnumbering the rebel troops they forced them to surrender and executed them where they were standing.
Shipmaster:"Forward all forces to a defensive position inside the outpost, make it look like there is no one in the base" he said furious with the lack of efficiency with his troops.

((3 warthogs and 2 mongooses, thats enough for 11 people mongooses would have the 2 people each and 2,2, and 3 for the warthogs))
Dante told them the numbers of people for each vehicle and had them choose who they were riding with as he climbed into his warthog, "thank you Briggs, apparently one of the space stations was destroyed..." He started the warthog as Briggs climbed in, "Gunsmoke, you tethered?"

Pike was scouting was with a group of UNSC Marines, 7 to be exact, patrolling an area were rebels had gone through many times, He was mainly waiting for orders, He was told to help the marines guard this location until he was given further orders, But he wanted something to do, He had heard of Escape pods launching and landing on the coms.... "Something wrong Spartan?" One of the Marines asked him, Pike realised he was lost in his own though, he nodded no, "Alright...Have you guys heard of the Escape pod launches?" The marine asked the other marines nodded "Rumors are the Covenant are response-" The marine was cut off by Pike "Rumors are only rumors" Pike said quickly, he did not like to talk for some odd reason, and when he had to he would say it fast and would get very annoyed if someone asked him to repeat himself, its one of the reasons he hates using the coms, "But...Be ready just in case they are here" Pike said quickly and plainly, Pike was however slightly worried about the Escape pods...And decide to use the coms "This is UNSC Spartan S847, Requesting the report on the situation..." he asked, He was worried, if the Covenant were here...and if they were sending standard invasion forces...The forces on reach could not hold this place without reinforcements...

((Some one may reply as HQ, Or some marine or Spartan Responding))

There was a second of static before there was an answer. "Spartan S847, this is HQ. Covenant forces have begun an assault on Reach. All units are being redirected." There was another moment of static. "A group of three drop pods landed three clicks to the north west of your position. Check them for survivors and return to base for a full debriefing."

Back at base Gunsmoke nodded that he was strapped in and Briggs gave out a war cry while the rest of the vehicles were filled with UNSC Marines, all ready for whatever came at them. Briggs looked at Dante. "Shall we have some fun?"

(maybe we could make a list of the posting orders, and when its someone's turn, they have like a day or two to reply until we skip there turn? Just a suggestion you do not need to use it)

Dante nodded and started the warthog. "You may want a seat belt yourself as well Briggs," he recommended putting on his own. Pulling up to the exit of the garage he would wait for the others to start up so he could lead the way out of the base,as they worked their way out of the base he once more established a comms line with the captain.

"acknowledged!" Pike said, and pulled out his Assault Rifle, "Lets get going marines there are drop-pods ahead, We are to search for survivors then head back to base for further instructions!" Pike said, then resumed his normal quite side, and began to run for the drop-pods

Covenant forces razed the enter base and left, as they fled the rebel base with their loot they past over what looked like to be a warthog with marines in it. The phantom didn't slow down but it did take notice of them. It began heading for the drop pods that had fell, the turrets opened up with grunts mounted to them. Inside the phantom were nothing but Elites and they held firepower to take down a tank in a couple of seconds.

Pike walked to the pods, keeping himself slightly ahead of the marines as they neared the drop-pods, He then saw the Phantom, and threw his hand up, which was the command to stop, Pike then took out his DMR and looked down the scope to spy on the elites, He knew that even if he caught them off guard, he could only take out one of the elites if he was lucky before they got to cover and began to retaliated, and instead, Decided to wait for the best moment to strike

The phantom moved on heading for the pods instead of attacking the warthog. After a few minutes a few other phantoms were flying not far behind the other phantom that was ahead of the rest and tried to keep up with it. As the phantoms grew closer to their destination they opened up their doors readying their plasma turrets to strike down on top of the pods.

((Alrighty, so is this going to keep going? personally i've been investing most of my time into developing a character im not sure im even going to use now, Sethalith. If this keeps going then i dont see why you couldn't join us Sorrow.

((There's another halo rp you all could join, i'm currently in it and so it someone else theres three people in it currently that could use the extra members. It's name is Halo earth wars rp I think
