Natalia sat quietly in a street corner, a dirty sheet covering her body and nothing else. She couldn't even find a man's toga to wear.
The poor shark/fix girl watched silently as the humans and luckier anthros walked about the market place with no care in the world.
A passing Hoplites noticed her staring and jabbed her with the butt of his spear, "Keep to yourself, heathen," the soldier laughed at her then walked off, leaving Natalia curled up in a tight ball, her face hidden.
She hated Athens.

Aries walked along the streets of his once home grumbling to himself, Who were the other to ban him? He was "Acting out" "Needed to learn Humility"
So what if he liked the thrill of the fight?
He found him self standing at a corner looking around at all of the people, When a man Ran into him with out apologizing he kept walking. Aries grit his teeth and Quickly started walking again before he could turn and fight the man. as we was walking he noticed a soldier laughing at a curled up ball, No it was anthros. His eyes narrowed as he watched the man.

The soldier walked away, leaving Natalia crying in a tiny ball of tan and light brown fur, her body heaving with sobs.

Aries took his shirt off and started across the street to the small figure in a ball. Once he came to her he knelt down and held out the shirt to her.

"Here little one take this."

She whimpered curled up even tighter when the large man approached her. She expected him to hit her after finishing his sentence but she looked up in surprise when he did not, "S-sir?" she asked, confused. Why would he be giving her this unless it was some sort of trick and he called for the guards saying she had attacked him and took his shirt? It had happened before.
She nervously reached out to it though and gently grabbed the fabric. She dropped the sheet that was around her, revealing her naked body and then put the shirt on and wrapped herself up again, "Thank you, sir..." she bowed deeply to him.

Aries looked down at the girl and nodded. Then he looked down the street at The man who had acted that way to her, He turned back to the girl
"stay here until I call for you"
Aries walked down the street after the man, he Shortly caught up to him and graves the man pushing him agents the wall
"Now cone girl"

She did as she was told, her head hanging low and ears drooping, not daring to look up at anyone as she approached Aries.
"What is the meaning of this?" the guard asked with a growl as he was lifted and he kicked against Aries' grip. The other guards that were with him all pointed their spears at the god.

"Why did you heart this little one as though it was her fault?"
Aries looked around at the other men smiling he knew there spears would cut him but as he is immortal his wounds would heal and he would be fine
"You will apologize and give the child some food as she is a person just as you or face my wrath"

"She is no more valuable than a stray dog is. She needs to learn her place and keep her head down without expecting anything. She doesn't deserve it, the filthy cross breed," the guard spat in Natalia's direction, "Not out me down or face the law!"

Aries laughed with pleasure smirking "the law? You think a peasant like you can put justice onto the likes of me?* ARIES threwg the man across the street with ease as he looked at the other solders "I am the law I am Aries. The God of War

The guards all backed away immediately and bowed respectfully to him.
"Our apologies, Lord Ares. What is it you want us to do?"

"The child gets food a heart meal and well fitting clothes to suit her, " he looked over at the man he had thrown smiling! he gets punished like the heathen he is, little one is that fair to you? Food and clothes? Would you like anything else"

"D-don't hurt the guard," she asked Aries, "He... He was only doing his job..." she whimpered then nodded, "yes... I-I would appreciate that very much."

Aries nodded at her "very well don't hurt him banish him to cleaning chamber pot or something like, will you be alright from here child or shall I accompany you to be sure they fallow through"

"No... Let him go, just let him go. He's a soldier..." Natalia shook her head the looked up at her new savior, "M-may I please stay with you?" she asked with a shy whimper.

Aries raised and eyebrow before he sighed he turned back to the solder "think twice before you act boy next time it won't end well you owe this child your life" ARIES began walking he paused to turn back "are you coming child?"

She quickly followed behind Aries, keeping as close as she could to him.

ARIES turned into a tavern and grabbed a table for him and the girl "bar maid!"

An older woman came up to them, "Yes? What can I get you, sir?" she asked as she straitened her peplos (ancient greek women's clothing ), "A steak for you and some slop for your slave?"

Aries looked up at the woman before he leaned back in his chair "just two stakes... for the girl I'll have a pint"
