Jane Faren wandered the cobblestone street her black hair flowing elegantly from the wind. Spinning her knife in her hand over and over again. She was traveling to the market. To sell a Sapphire amulet she discovered in the woods, she figured she could get a nice amount of gold for such a stupendous item. She continued to walk down the street until she heard the live chatter of the market faintly in the distance. She sped her pace eager to sell this item she so luckily stumbled upon. As she made her way to the market, two men followed her pace from closely behind. After a few more steps she spun around still clenching the bone dagger she had in her hand. "What do you want." She growled through gritted teeth, she knew what they want, she just didn't want to say. One man eyes the amulet resting loosely around her neck, the other examined the weapons I wear, along with the clothing. The clothing does look similar to royalty, crafted with fine silk and cotton. It's red with gold trimming made it irresistible to the eye. It dropped down to about knee height revealing the plain brown sandals she wore.

"I sure do like that amulet." The shorter man eyed it greedily a frantic sparkle in his eye.

"Where does a girl like you acquire such a dazzling dress an marvelous pieces of weaponry?" A large hand stretched out to touch the silk dress. As he did he grabbed it and yanked her close to him. "This will go easy or the hard way. Just give us the amulet and dress and we will be on our way. Smirking Jane in hinges the dress an threw it at the man. Under the dress she wore regular brown garments.

"Good girl, now the amulet." He stuck out a hand and featured her closer.

"Over my dead body." She spoke loud and confident, yet she was trembling and scared. She gulped hoping the men wouldn't notice. The men both glanced at each other and smiled.

"That could be gladly arranged." The short lunges at Jane. In shock she stood still, but at the last second she sidestepped and dodged the attacker. The second one was fast, he made his hand into fist and connected it to Jane's ribs. Knocking the wind out of her Jane quickly reacted. She sidestepped another lunge from the other man and brought her knee into his stomach. He groaned then snarled revealing perfectly white teeth filed to a point. He bounded after her connecting his head with her abdomen running her into an empty cart.

"Just give us the amulet pretty and no one gets hurt." The tall one approached her slowly and cautiously. Jane regained balance of the world then liked upward at the snarling beast sending him sprawling backwards and falling over. The tall man ducked a chucked piece of wood from Jane. But her next hit was accurate. Her right fist connected with his jaw leaving him slightly dazed but alert. He swung sloppily at her. She dodged each one then rammed her body into the side of his knocking him over. Triumphantly smiled made her way to the market. But in a split second the beast was on her snarling, foaming at the mouth. His eyes turned red from the hazel they had been before. The black hood fell backwards revealing catlike features. In absolute terror Jane tried to wriggle herself out of the situation but to know avail. She screamed help but her mouth was quickly covered by a large furry hand. She started sobbing, then flailing her arms and legs around trying to kick away the creature. The beast just dig its claws deeper. The taller man stood up wiping away blood from his lip.

"Why couldn't you just give us the amulet! None of this would have happened." He smirked tracing his fingers around her face gently. Jane sobbed harder, but her sobs her partly muffled from the hand. "So much beauty, such a shame no one will ever see it again." The man smiled again wider revealing normal teeth. But his tongue flickered like a snake, the tongue licked her cheek then retracted into the man mouth. Jane struggled and got an arm free and hit the animal in the side of the face then kicked it off of her. From adrenaline she pulled a knife on the snake but was knocked again to the ground. But this time from the snake like man. "Listen missy! Give us the amulet or some unpleasant things are going to happen here. Jane just spit in the mans face. Frowning the man let go and walks away. "All yours Beast." Jane looked to her side, the beast stood on his legs and towered over her on the ground staring greedily at the Amulet and weapons.

"Your world is about to be a lot of pain." One of his claws dug into Jane's shoulder then the other. He sat on her legs grinning. Her then turned into human. He had dark brown hair an fitting features. He would be handsome if he wasn't trying to kill her, and worse. He traced a finger along Janes shoulder's. "A lot of pain." Grinning he pulled out a knife and trace her collet bone and hem of her tunic with it, then slowly went down from her neck. "Say goodbye."";
"Honestly, men these days are so disgusting. I almost feel insulted by your behavior."a growl came from the shadows in a nearby dark alleyway. A pair of bright grey eyes could be seen intently on the man pinning the woman down,"It is a lovely amulet, but in such hands it's worth nothing."the Rogue stepped from the shadows. He looked annoyed as he ran a hand through his deep blue, short hair. The Rogue took a step towards them, keeping his left foot in the shadows behind him.

The Rogue let out a deep sigh, glancing to the unknown lady being pinned down. He shot her a slight smile before he reached a hand back. A chain could be heard clinking together as he pulled a chain scythe from his back,"Come here. Lets have a chat."the small scythe that hung from the left side of the chain shot forward, quickly wrapping around the feline man's neck. He grabbed the chain,taking a stance to allow him grip before he yanked the chain back, forcing him towards the Rogue.

A small grin played on his lips and his eyes flickered to the man with the rather long tongue, his eyes shone with both amusement and annoyance. He glanced back over to her before he took a step back into the shadows. The cahin disappeared and a hand reached from the shadow of the snake, yanking his head back into the solid ground.

Astonished, Jane lay gawking on the gravel path. She noticed she was staring at the man who just appeared from the darkness of a nearby alleyway. She searched herself for all of her belongings. She still had them all. She got to her hands and knees then stood up. Her shirt fell loosely down. She quickly held it still before it revealed anything too private. "T-thank you." She searched frantically for a shirt. She ran over to the dress, or what was left of it. It lay in the dust tattered and torn. "Great." She spun around to the boy. "Do you happen to have a woman's shirt at expense?" She was afraid if this man, but didn't dare show it. She remembered the bra she wore and thanked God she remembered to put it on. Don't ask, it was a busy morning. She let her shirt slide, it hung loosely exposing part of the bra. "Sorry for the, um, trouble." Her eyes widened wondering what he might want. "A-are y-you wanting t-the amulet?"
Leith grabbed both of the animals, smashing their heads together then dropping them to the ground. He dusted off his hands with a large grin plastered on his face,"Easy. I was hoping for a bit more of a fight."he mumbled to himself before his eyes turned to the women who was quickly gathering her things. His kept his eyes steadily on her face to show he wasn't a creep to who stared at women with half torn clothes. He yanked off his shirt then held it out to her,"I have a pretty mall torso so it should fit. It's all that I have currently. Where did they hurt you?"he took a small step closer to her. He raised an eyebrow as he mentioned the amulet before he laughed,"No, no...I just can't stand people who beat up women for trinkets."he smiled crookedly.

Jane stared blankly at the shirt the boy was holding out to her. She carefully stretched her hand out then snatched it away. Should she trust him? No matter, if he jumped her she would be prepared. "Can you look away for privacies sakes?" She fingered her knife which rest loosely on her belt. She wasn't intending to use it, but to have it out and ready was always a precaution she would take. As she turned away from him, she grabbed the hem of her shirt and pulled upward. She gritted her teeth in pain when her fingernail grazed the wound on her collarbone and neck. "My neck," she moaned having to reveal the rest. "And, downward." She tools step further then grabbed the hem of her shirt again and gently took it off. She felt very bare in front of this stranger. Her skin was cold from the few gusts of wind, yet is was Farley warm out. She looked back at the man then immediately forward. Why did she find herself attracted to him? She took the shirt the man had given her then carefully put it on.

After she put the shirt on her fingers lingered around the area of the amulet. Her hand touched it, the cool metal on her finger tips. She had a sudden surge of energy she had never felt before, but that energy soon became pain. She cried out clutching the amulet then falling to her knees the jagged rocks scraping her. The free hand stretched out to balance her. Another sharp pain hit. She starting sobbing. Her eyes flashing pure and red, from her regular green. The amulet started glowing. The Sapphire was like a torch and burnt Jane's hand. With the hand in the gravel she quickly took it off and threw it on the dusty ground. She started panting. "W-what w-was that?" She asked in between pants.
Leith quickly turned as he noticed her grabbed the bottom of her torn shirt. He kept his eyes down to the ground, rocking back and forth on his heel. He whispered softly as he brought a hair through his messy deep blue hair,"When your dressed, if you don't mind I'd like to look at them. Did the snake scratch or bite you? He might have a n-"he spun around as he heard her cry out, in what sounded to be pain. He quickly went to her side, blinking as he noticed the amulet glowing around her neck,"What the..."his attention quickly turned back to her, leaning her gently on his shoulder,"Hey...hey don't die."he began to slowly rub her back, hoping to ease some of the pain. His eyes went back to the amulet, plucking it gingerly from the ground. His grey eyes bore in the Sapphire,"How odd..."he grabbed her tattered shirt and wrapped the amulet in it,"We need to move."he glanced around.

Jane's ears twitched at the sentence of the man wanting to see the wound. She slowly raised tears still stained her face, she gently plucked the shirt from her body. As she drew it upward it revealed a clean slice from her bellybutton to her collarbone. She closed her eyes and stood standing toward him. "I-it happened when..." She didn't feel the need to say the rest, he saw with his own two eyes anyway. There was multiple scrapes and bruises around body. The was a large round black and blue bruise under her ribs. Two large scrapes on her arms and shoulders from Beast. Shivered again. It is not that Jane didn't think she had a nice body, Brahe was ultimately terrified when a stranger her saw her like that, not really like any other girls. Her eyes opened and leveled with his. "How o-old are you?" She didn't mention her attraction to him until she knew his age. "H-hey can we go into town, I need to buy a skirt or pants or something to get out of the battle skirt. She didn't mind showing her legs for not many people looks down there, hopefully.
The Rogue looked to the wound with wide eyes,"Those..."he cursed and reached a hand down to fumble with a small pouch that was on the side of his belt,"Good thing I happen to have at least these."he pulled out a roll of bandages and began to gently wrapped them tightly around her torso. Once he had wrapped the cut he used his teeth to tear of the bandage then slipped the roll back into the pouch. He nodded at her question and gently helped her stand,"I'm 21."he chuckled,"I can carry you if it hurts too much. I don't mind."he told her softly.
