He looked at her,then looked away,"People are too judgemental.Almost Everybody at that school gets judged,or outcasted from the rest,for stupid reasons.." he said,but he said it calmly,like he was in thought,not protesting.

"But it's worse for me... Not even other anthros like me," she kept her gaze down and tried her best to just follow Arc.

"I said people are too judgemental.Anthros count in that category too..." he said.

She whimpered, "I... I don't think I should come anymore..." she said quietly but some human heard.
"That's right, get gone and stay gone freakashark!" he taunted and Natalia's heart pounded faster as she found tears welling up in her eyes again.
"I can't take it anymore..." she whispered.

Arc glarred at the human,he said two words,not bad words,but two words Natalia never heard him say,"Shut up" he directed in the humans direction.

"What? You gonna stick up for the dirty little animal?" the not smirked and walked towards Arc. He wasn't much talker than Arc but he was muscular. "You got a thing for animals? That your kink?" he have Arc a light shove.
"A-Arc, come on... Let's go..." Natalia pulled on his arm.

Arc said nothing,not even when the boy shoved him.Arc looked at Natalia,then at the human,"childs games,played by stupid idiots like you" Arc said then took Natalias hand,and ran,before he possibly got hit by that guy for saying that.

The boy swing his fist at Arc but missed. He didn't give chase.
"You'd better run. I'll beat you both senseless when I get the chance!" he called angrily after them.

Arc ran like his life depended on it,he looked back at Natalia,"sorry,I made things worse...I just didn't like him saying that."

Natalia was silently crying and once they were out of sight of anyone she stopped him and hugged him tightly.
"Y-you shouldn't have," she said through her tears and put her head under his forehead.

When she stopped,it yanked him back,and he got caught in a hug."You don't deserve to be teased by people.Or said mean things to" he said,then hugged her back,"I'll always be there to back you up,if people are mean to you"

"But you shouldn't, not publicaly... I don't want you to get taunted and hurt just because of me..." she whimpered, "I'm not going there anymore... I don't want to make you feel like this..."

"They don't scare me.They don't bother me.They hurt people for amusement,like a child playing with toys.If they taunt me,so be it.It will come back to bite them in the butt someday" he said.

"But they're going to bother you now... They didn't because I stayed away from you but now because you did that, they're going to try really hard to get to you..." she whimpered, "please don't go back? Just stay at home with me?"

"If I ignore them,their bound to give up eventually anyway" he said,a slight bit of uncertainty in his tone.He looked down,"I have to go to school...there's isn't a option.."

"But why not?" she pouted, "Who's making you?"

He thought for a moment..he shrugged as an answer."Its just,something I have to do,I don't know all the details"

She looked down, "But... I don't want you to get hurt..."

He didn't have a response for that.That boy did say he'd beat them senceless after all.

Natalia whimpered and hugged him even tighter. "I-I love you..." she whimpered. It was probably only the third or fourth time she said it.
