Arc felt her hug tighten around him."I know" he said.He had to go to school though,it was kinda a requirement for him.Even if it meant him getting beat senceless tomorrow, he had to go to school, unless, they were homeschooled, but he knew Natalia would never go through with that.
She looked at him with big, green puppy eyes and whimpered softly, "Will you still bring my homework and stuff in to the teachers?" she asked him, "And tell me what homework there is for me to do?"
He nodded an okay.He could do that.
She squeezed him adoringly, "Thank you... Also, please don't get yourself hurt?" she asked.
He hugged her back, this time."I can run fast,I can flee if something bad might happen" hopefully
"Alright..." she sighed and reluctantly pulled away, "Let's keep going home" she held his hand and started walking.
He followed her,as the two kept going towards home.He didn't mind her holding his hand.
She was glad he didn't mind. If he rejected her, that would have crushed her worse than any actual physical abuse.
He didn't move his hand out of reach of hers,he just let her hold it.Other people would stick with the crowd, and slap her hand away, but he stood out of the crowd,if that's the best reputation they would get.
Moshe smiled weakly up at him as they came to the trail leading into the forest, "I'm sorry... I don't want you to walk alone every day..."
(?)
(Gotta hate autocorrect,?)
He smiled slightly back at her.He tilted his head to the side some as they walked,"why's that?" He asked. After the words crossed his lips,it occurred to him that that was the dumbest question ever.Hopefully,it wouldn't be taken the wrong way, honestly,he liked the company.

"Because I don't want you to be alone... I know you were alone before we met... I don't want you to be alone anymore if I can help it but... I just can't go back there anymore..." she whispered and relaxed as the ground beneath her paws shifted from hard top to soft earth and grass. The feel of asphalt reminded her too much of her past on the streets and the hard linoleum of the school floors was always cold on her pads. Dirt and grass felt much nicer.
"Most people thing I'm dangerous, cause for some reason,I happen to be around, just about every time a fire starts..coinsidence that I might have been alone....I think not.." he said looking down he let that slip,he went silent,as he followed her onto the grass. Some kids linked the fire thing to his eyes, but how would that make any since,hm?
She looked up at him with a frown, "That's just bad luck," she told him with a reassuring grin. "I still don't want you to be alone... Can you... Can you try to make some friends?" she asked him.
"I was around when my parents burned to death,i was aeound when a church burned down,i was around when a hotel caught on fire for petes sake." He said still looking down.Bad luck,at the least. He looked up at her,"after today, its easier said, then done."
"But it can't be your fault. You can't just start fires with your eyes," she protested, "Just because they happen around you doesn't make it your fault..."
He looked down thinking it over for a second. Then looked at her,and nodded,"maybe your right" he said.
"Please just try not to be lonely?" she asked him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
