He nodded.Seeing as though his hands, never the less his arms, weren't tired, he decided he might as well keep doing it, and kept doing it he did.
She wound up falling asleep again and she slumped over in the couch. Her toes continued to flex and curl involuntarily as he massaged them.
Once noticing she had fallen asleep, again, he stopped. He moved his hands away, not waking her up.His job was done for now.
She remained asleep on the couch for about half the night, but at one point she finally woke and went upstairs then crawled into Arc's bed where she curled up comfortably under the blankets.
By the time she went to the actual bed, Arc was already sound asleep, not even Natalia woke him up.Not a peep came from him.
She moved so that she was under his arm and pushed her head comfortably against his chest.
When Arc woke up the next morning, she would be gone from the house. There was a letter on the table that read "Gone to play. I'll be back by 5 tonight. Love you! - Natalia" and there was a little heart over the "i" in her name as well as a small one at the bottom of the note.

Not even the movement of her moving his arm slightly woke him up.Yup ladies and gentlemen, he was out.
The next morning when he woke up, the house was silent, more silent then usual. He got up and went to the kitchen, noticing the note. "Gone to play. I'll be back by 5 tonight. Love you! - Natalia" he read the note to himself. He noticed the two hearts and smiled Good luck today he thought, even if she couldn't hear his thought. He went over to the fireplace and took a sheet of paper he had sat on the top of the fireplace off.The paper had lists of jobs he could do today. He found one that started at 12:00pm, and ended at 4:30pm, 4 dollars an hour.True that was bellow the minimum wage of 7.25, but technically this wasent a true job.

Natalia returned at about 4:45 that night and yawned widely, "Arc?" she called out. She had seen the list and knew the times that most of the jobs ended. She wondered if he was home by now or on his way. On her back was the guitar and she had a jar that had a couple coins in the bottom, a 5 dollar bill and a one dollar bill but nothing else.
Arc walked through the door minutes later. He noticed Natalia was home early."How much today?" He asked.
"At least some people give for guitar playing" he said with an exhausted sigh. This was day two or three of the week that they had to earn money.
She hugged him, "I doubt we'll be able to get enough money..." she whimpered, "It'd be really nice to go on a trip, but if we can't, we can't..."
"How about the lottery?" He said obviously kidding on that. But who's to say one card, wouldn't be the winner?
"Don't you have to be 18 for one of those?" she asked with a thoughtful frown.
"..yeah" he said in a retreating voice. He was 4 years to young. But after all, he knew that you had to be 18.Wait.Couldn't the two get his friends dad to buy it for them? With their money of course.
She wasn't thinking much about other ways that they could get a ticket. She was just disappointed in herself for having not gotten as much money as she could have.
"What if..my friends dad bought it for us...we'd pay for it, but he could get it for us..there's always the chance of winning.." he suggested his idea.
"I guess it couldn't hurt, but you do know that you're probably more likely to die on your way to give him the money than you are to actually win."
"I know chances are slim but its still worth a shot.." he said.Over a billion people on earth. One winning lottery ticket.Chances were below slim.
"Well, no harm in trying, you're right. It's only a dollar for a ticket, right?"
