"I can always use the planes internet if I get bored.." he said.His headpones weren't exactly the kind two people could use.

"Does it cost money?" she asked curiously.

(I actually didn't know)
He shook his head no.

(It does actually x3)

"Oh. Okay," she cuddled into him and returned her attention to the TV.

(Oh well..)

He looked at the TV, he couldn't hear it, but he could watch it.

It didn't take too long for the TV to put her tosleep and she rested peacefully against Arc's shoulder.

It didn't take long for him to notice Natalia had fallen asleep, feeling her slacken on is shoulder.He looked down at her, he smiled slightly, she looked so peaceful.

Her lips were curled up in a faint smile and her arms were wrapped loosely around his chest. Her tail was sliding with the movement of the plane. The TV was still playing.

He supposed she was having good dreams.He hoped her sweet dreams wouldn't turn upside down and turn into a nightmare.

Fortunately, she slept in complete peace the whole flight. After a while they touched down in another airport and the jostling of the plane as it landed startled Natalia awake.She yawned and stretched widely then smiled at Arc.

As the plane landed it made Arcs bangs fall into his face, he blew them out of his face, realizing afterword Natalia was awake.He looked at her, "sleep well?" He asked.

She nodded and stretched a bit in her seat, "Yep..."

"That's good to hear" he said with a smile.

It wasn't long before they were allowe of of the plain and Natalia followed Arc in her usual manner: ears flat against her head, head down and tail dragging on the floor. She was silent and avoided everyone to the very best of her ability.
Natalia suddenly let out a startled cry as a little kid stomped aggressively on her tail. She looked back for only a moment, enough to see the brat sticking his tongue out at her and she quickly piled up her tail and moved closer to Arc, so that she was shoulder to shoulder with him. Even the little kids hated her...
"Hey! You get away from him!" a man called out and shoved the shark/fox girl violently to the floor, enough that she slid a few feet. "Hey, you okay son?" the man asked Arc, "Did that... Animal-" he spat the word, "-hurt you?"
A small crowd had formed around them and the man was glaring at Natalia, who hadn't gotten up. She was actually just curled up in a tight ball with her hands over her head, all the bad memories from before she met Arc rushing back into her mind like a hurricane.
"I-I'm sorry!" she stuttered quietly, "I'm sorry for whatever I did! P-please don't hurt me!"

Arc walked with Natalia out of the plane.In his thoughts, one thought replayed like a broken record player.Please nothing bad happen.His chain of thought was broken when he heard Natalia cry out, and he looked at her, then back at the little kid.Man, even the children didn't like her, now that, was stupid.He watched Natalia get pushed to the ground, watching her fall like a domino.Arc glarred at the man with cold greyish eyes."Whose to say you aren't the 'animal'?" He questioned the man.Unlike the rest of society he saw Natalia as a person, a living breathing person who felt emotions, just like he, and all the other men and women out there do.He knelt down , "hey.." he said to Natalia he shook Natalia lightly as a 'let's get out of here, now'.He was causing a lot of jaws to drop.He didn't care.

A couple people had started recording on their phones in case anything bad happened.
"What? You saying you know this beast?" the man smirked, "Woukd you look at this, we've got an animal lover here! Ain't 'dat sweet?" he laughed cruelly the frowned, "The only place an animal like her belongs is behind bars, and whether that's bars of a prison or bars of a kennel, I don't care."

Natalia looked up at Arc with a terrified expression and slowly stood up. She desperately wanted to give Arc a hug, to feel his reassuring arms around her back, but she dared not for Arc's own sake.
As she tried standing up though, another kid came up and gave her a powerful kick in the ribs, knocking the wind out of her and causing her to collapse again. She panted and wheezed for air. A couple of seconds later more children came and began kicking and punching Natalua, who was sobbing now and was curled in the fetal position with her hands above her head and her knees up to her breasts.

Arcs cheeks turned pink a little in embarrassment, but besides that, he didn't show much.He didn't hit anybody, he didn't curse anybody.Learn your place.. Arc thought.
Arc looked back at Natalia.
Arc stared in disbelief as the kids kicked and punched her.Eventually, he couldnt stand it, to watch her suffer.He covered her.Nobody could kick her, or hit her but the brave, but sad part was, he was willing to take a blow for her if needed.That, probably would top the nice list.

Natalia sobbed loudly as they beat her up.
"I-I'm sorry! I'm sorry for whatever I did!" she cried out, "P-please stop! Please!" she begged, and like magic, they did. As soon as Arc began protecting her, they immediately stopped.
Only a few second later, several security guards showed up, "Everyone, hands up!" one called, "On your knees!"
One of them moved over to Arc and helped him and then Natalia to their feet. The hybrid's left eye was swollen shut and she had a little bit of blood coming out of her mouth. She was struggling to even stand at the moment and it didn't seem like walking was an option since she could only take a few steps before nearly collapsing.
About a minute later, the entire terminal was cleared and one of the little golf carts came to pick them up and bring them to the airport's medical bay.
"What happened, kid?" asked a security guard who was sitting next to Arc and was holding the limp Natalia.

He protected Natalia from getting hurt anymore, watching her suffer was killing him on the inside.He looked in the direction he saw security guards.He looked around, watching as people were lead away, and or walked away.Soon only he and Natalia remained.He backed away from Natalia, once they were safe.
Arc looked down as he answered the guards question" Judgemental people who don't like her for what she is..beat her up.." he said in a quiet, but hearable voice."Mean people..."

"This is probably the worst place to come. Highest anthro murder rates in the country," the guard Sao sadly, "Where are your parents?"
