Nero looked at Azumi,so obidient,plus,he now knew her name.He looked at Ragi,and nodded a yes. “Yes,i can read,and write,.” he answered.

"Good go sit. I will have you do a few things for me and I will see if you are of use to me." Ragi went back over to the table and picked out a book sat it down with a pad of paper and pen. "It is simple. Read and take notes." He sat down at his desk again and continued what he was doing.
Azumi looked at Nero and smiled.

He went over and sat about 3 feet from Azumi,and waited for his test,or better word assignment.He looked the book,notepad,and pen,it sounded easy enough,he would fly right through this.He looked at the book,unaware of Azumi smiling at him,well,time to get to work.

Azumi got through about 4 books before morning came about. "Alright" Ragi interrupted. "Azumi show our guest to a bed room and get some sleep. When you two wake up take a bath and don't make a lot of noise. I am sleeping."
"Yes, master." She got up, "come on Nero."

Nero had got through 3 and 1/2 books.When hearing Ragis voice interupt the silence,he looked up from his book at him.He simply nodded an okay ,technically,this guy was not his master,for Nero had no brand on him marking him,like Azumi,,then he looked at the page he was on,then closed the book and put it with the others Azumi,and him had been reading through.He stood up waiting for Azumi to lead the way.

Azumi climbed the long stair case up to the second story and to the bed room. "Now personly this is my favorite room, besides mine. It has much space and you get an amazing view of the mountains. But that is just my personal option. There are three other rooms you can go in right now." She smiled and fiddled with her hair.

He followed her up the long staircase to the second floor,this house looked better inside than outside,and thats as good as it gets.“Three other rooms?” he asked.

"One is small with a nice closet, the other two are right next to masters room. You will need to be very very quiet if you want to stay in one of those." She warned.

“I'd rather not take my chances on accidently disturbing your master” he said,thinking of how mad her master would be if Nero woke him up or something.

"Okay so this one or the small one?" She rocked back and forth on her heels.
"You better be in bed." Ragi called up from below.
"You pick. I have to get to bed." She quickly ran like a scared child to a room and closed the door.

Neararo heard Ragi and looked down at the floor,what was his rush,he looked up seeing her run away,ah forget it,this room was close,he opened the door and went inside,closing the door behind him.He took off his coat so he could take off the sheath that held his sword,his friend,his beloved sword.He set the sword in the corner of the room,and he went and layed on the bed.

The door opened as Ragi walked in. "I reviewed your notes. I will accept you as a servent but I rules. One do as I say. Two don't you even think about having sex with Azumi. I know how your little human urges are but forget about it. Three stay out of my room. Four stay out of the basement. Now come here." He said in the door way.

Hearing his door open,he sat up.He glarred at Ragi on rule two,“i didnt plan on it buddy.” he said,the other rules were child rules,easy enough.So early and hes got to do rule one,he got up and walked over to Ragi.

He pushed away some of Nero's shirt and touched the skin with two bare cold fingers. Nero would feel a sting sensation then a burning on as a brand craved it self into him. This one, like Azumi's, had two large snakes ready to strike at each other. "Oh yes rule four, if you find a snake in the house, leave it be. They are instructed only to bit who I want. They will not harm you."

He had a feeling he knew what was to come when he felt his shirt move aside some,and the feeling of Ragis cold as ice fingers touch his skin.Where the man had touched began to sting,which didnt bother him,the feeling of burning,hurt alittle but he would never show that,that hurt,never.He had a mark,but there permanently went his freedom,he now belonged to somebody,instead of nobody.He looked at Ragi,“Got it.” he answered,it would take some adjusting before he would call Ragi master like Azumi did.

"For now on you will call me Master or Sir. Understood?" Ragi put back on his gloves and fixed hi Los shirt, "now get some rest." He left the room closing the door.

Nero nodded,“Yes sir...understood..” he said,he'd rather say sir,then master.He watched his 'master' leave,then went back to the bed and layed on his stomach,he sighed,freedom was forever lost,he layed the side of his head against the bed,his face facing away from the door, he closed his eyes,and eventually drifted to sleep.Unlike most people,he didnt snore..so atleast when he was asleep,he wouldnt disturb anyone in the house.:

Early in the morning Azumi came into the room, "ppsstt! Ppsstt! Are you awake?" She whispered peeking in through the door. "Master wants you to take a bath when you are awake okay?" She smiled and closed the door again. If Nero did wake up he would hear her run down the hall and yell, "I told him."

When she began psting and all,his eyes slowly opened,his face was still facing away from the door,she couldnt tell he was awake,he heard what she said,,what their master had told him..He rolled over onto his back,sat up,and yawned.He looked at the door hearing Azumi yell 'i told him' as she ran down the hall.

Azumi started her normal daily chores assisting master with anything he needed. Breakfast, then sweeping, then organizing the books and then master's tea. She hummed a bit while doing it.
