The click of heels on the bright white floors echoed as a young woman walked down the bright white hallway to the isolated chamber below. She had long black hair and a doctors uniform on, a gun holster visible on her waist and a dagger at her shin. "Why do I have to give number 1 its medicine?" she mumbled to herself as she put her thumb on the print system mounted to the wall beside the steel doors. "Mary Rose." a robotic voice filtered through the speakers located above the door as it opened and a light layer of fog filtered out of the room beyond. Mary put her thumb up to the people at the bulletproof glass to signal that they could be on alert now, Number 1 was the most unpredictable.
Bright light awoke Karma, Mary was bringing her medicine again. Karma smiled as she lifted her head, her snow white hair falling into place beside her head, revealing her face. "Hey Mary." She said giggling as Mary stuck Karma with a needle that was supposed to tranquilize her. Karma slumped a little in her shackles "Ok Number 1, you won't feel a thing." Mary said as she unshackled Karma's right wrist and stuck the needle into a vein. Karma coughed from the drugs and looked back up into Mary's eyes. "Why does it hurt so much?" She asked, tears glistening in her multi-colored eyes. "You have to be ready for inspection today Number 1." Mary replied, taking the needle out and throwing it into the waste container. Most people here didn't believe that Karma was a person just like them, they thought she was a monster sent from hell to reek havoc onto the world, but Karma was destined to do exactly the opposite of that.
Men came through the thick steel doors with a large steel crate for moving Karma in. "I don't like the box." Karma complained as the men undid her other shackles and turned the collar attached to her neck on. They threw her into the box, the sound of her body hitting the cold hard steel making a reverberating sound as she whimpered, and slammed the door shut. They dragged her into the hallway and towards the secure interrogation room located at the other end of the building.
