The ugly man took his dice and put them between his fingers, ready to roll after the halfling.
What wasn't fair was her roll! She shook the dice in her hand, releasing them, and watching as they spilled out before her. Her face fell into a look of disappointment and concern when she saw what lay before her. If she remembered correctly about what was explained to her, specifically about scoring, she didn't do too well at all. Not the absolute worst but not too far from it.
"Aw, damn..."

"Alright lad, ya won. Now I'll let ya in a lil' secret I got." He said as he reached for his belt and drew his gun, which he pointed at Dirk."I didn' get rich gamblin' me most treasured map ta every low life scum askin' 'bout it!" He yelled loudly as he pulled the trigger from what could be considered a point blank range.
Norin hopped up, grabbing his pistols as well. Whether the captain hit Dirk or missed, there were still the flamboyant goons to deal with! Without taking much care to aim for a lethal shot he fired both his guns at two of them. No time for snarky comments about his captain's sudden descision!

"Arrgh! Get me outta here, kill 'em! Kill 'em all!" Dirk shouted hysterically. Two of his goons moved forward and grabbed for his arms to pull him out while the goons on the other side pulled their cutlasses and charged the dwarf, who's shot missed, some of the other goons closed in on Steve and Bender, not yet attacking but very much about to.
The barell was far too high for her to easily climb over without potentially pulling it over on top of her, so she'd swallow a bit and run forward, taking a dive toward their legs in hopes to slide through. Whether or not that was to happen was to be determined.
Should it happen, the Halfling would turn and take a shot toward the man whose legs she slid through. Unfortunately, her shot veered off to the side and missed the guy completely.
Well, crap.
((I AM SO DAMN LATE SO SORRY OH GOD 8C))
rolled 1d10 and got 5
1-5 Slide through without problems, 6-10 Couldn't get through
rolled 1d10 and got 2
IF she slides through, then 1-4 miss, 5-8 hit, 9-10 dead lol.
Bender could feel a strange rage brewing inside of him. For months he had been comfortable. No one dared attack him over his map or treasures, and besides a few drunken brawls he hadn't been in a true life or death fight. It felt strange. The old man missed packing a decent punch once in a while. But it was a shame Stevie was here. Bender felt responsible for whatever could happen to her due to his insane outburst.
"Cap'n, we gotta run! We can't fight 'em off!" The Dwarf spoke in a worried tone as he was reloading his pistols at a rapid speed. Bender instead took his fancy sword."If ye two want ta run off ta warn the crew, I welcome ya to it! I'll hold 'em off!" The old man shouted. Norin couldn't agree more. "Stevie, don't get surrounded! Make a run for it!" What the Dwarf didn't know though was Bender simply wanted to finish the job with Dirk and make sure he fits his nickname better.
The old man reeled his mechanical fist back and smashed it with full force into the pirate in front of him. The force Bender used for this hit could very easily be lethal.
rolled 1d10 and got 3
1-2= blow shrugged off 3-6= knocked out, 7-10= new wallpaper of red called DEATH AND BRAINS
Bender caught the man in front of him square in the jaw, breaking his nose and easily knocking him out, meanwhile behind the captain Stevie managed to get to the other side of his or her assailant, her shot missed but the smoke coming from it made him cough, distracting him for now while the one next to him had no idea where the halfling had suddenly gone to yet.
Meanwhile the pirate left ran around the table in the direction of his boss, he wanted to block Bender's path so his boss could be dragged off. The pirate trusted his sword forward towards the captain. Meanwhile the one in front of Norin slashed wildly at the dwarf.

1-6 miss - 7-10 hit. Slash Bender
rolled 1d10 and got 3
1-6 miss - 7-10 hit. Slash Norin
Something big.
And then she saw it! A hunk of brick about the size of her head (which was smaller than theirs, but still significant) that had crumbled off one of the wall's surrounding them. It had been there a while. Hearing Norin's ushering for her to run off, she decided to have one last attempt at hurting one of them before she did as she was told and sought the crew. Maybe she'd go grab Hooke? Yeah, that sounded good.
To her surprise, her aim was wonderfully spot on and the brick collided with the man's head who stood in front of her. The force was enough, coupled with just where it hit, to send him into unconsciousness.
Eyes wide, she gave a sheepish grin and turned tail to run. Slow, but small. She could hide somewhere if she was caught up to, thankfully. If she timed it right anyway.
rolled 1d10 and got 10
BRICK THROW! 1-4 miss, 5-8 hit, 9-10 unconscious.
Norin too managed to dodge his assailant's blade. He hopped backwards and landed right against a box. The Dwarf was pinned, but he had had enough time to reload at least one pistol, and he aimed it right at the goon in front of him. His aim was quick and uncalculated, but he was at point blank range! Before this pirate could shorten the Dwarf even more by taking off his head, Norin fired his gun. If he could, he'd have congratulated Stevie on her amazing throwing arm, but right now he was in quite the pickle.
rolled 1d10 and got 6
1 = gun explodes 2 - 6 = non lethal shot 7 - 10 lethal shot
Norin's shot hit its mark, although not as well as he might have hoped, the shock from the pain made the pirate step back and recollect himself. The pirate who had previously been unaware of Stevie most certainly noticed when his buddy got hit by a brick, he turned around and with a wicked sneer tried to stomp down on the halfman. "Die mouse!" He snarled

Kick on bender 5-10

7-10 kick on Stevie
She got a little frustrated and moved to smack him in the groin with the butt of her gun. She didn't hit the target, but did manage to thwack his upper thigh. It more than likely wouldn't do much other than sting, so without a second thought, she'd turn to run away. "Hooke!" she cried. Doubted he would hear her, but maybe if she barged inside and heard her calling for him, he'd come?
She still had to get to the doors first, though.
rolled 1d10 and got 6
1-3 miss, 4-6 hit the thigh, 7-10 BALLS LOL
"Cap'n, you doin' alright?!" Norin cried out."Oh just dandy, Norin! Can't be bloody better!" Bender snapped back. Norin grumbled something incoherently as he was busy reloading his pistols. This time wanting both to be combat ready. He did not notice the pirate in front of him had survived the bullet wound.
Surprsingly, Stevie had found the right place where Hooke was. A damp looking tavern called 'The Black Clam'. Hooke kicked the doors open, and was seemingly just about to leave the place when he saw Stevie in front of him."I thought I heard a rodent screech" He said in a disgusted manner."What do you want, street rat?"
The shot had come from him as evidenced by his smoking barrel although it wasn't clear who the gnoll had shot. Without a word but with a nervous giggle that Bender might be all to familiar with the gnoll slid his gun so he was holding the barrel and then swung it at one of the guys carrying Dirk, who were quite startled by this sudden change in numbers.
Norin was having less luck in the meantime as the man in front of him bit through the pain and lunged forward with his cutlass, intent on stabbing the dwarf.
rolled 1d10 and got 7
Flavio 1-3 = miss, 4-7= hit, 8-10 deadly hit
rolled 1d10 and got 1
Stabbing Norin 5-10
insulting her as usual. Sigh.
Stevie offered him a glare. "Stop bein' such a baby n' grow up, Hooke! There're bigger problems then makin' me mad. C'mon, follow me, I think Bender n' Norin need help!"
She was supposed to warn the crew, but she figured telling one and getting them to come and help would be enough. Hell, she'd even grab his hand and start to walk. ...Whether she got anywhere was debatable. He was so much bigger than her after all.
...and saw a lot of taken out pirates. Without hesitation he drew his rifle."By the Gods, I recognize these guys..." Hooke mumbled as he aimed his rifle, using the hook for a hand to squeeze the trigger. It was odd that a one handed man would use a rifle, but Hooke proved to be a natural. Norin was still busy reloading, he had no idea about the goon that still survived, luckily Hooke had a good aim.
Bender seemed relieved to see Galgahar Hooke in this fight. With him around, this fight was practically won, although these three were doing a great job at taking out their foes. Luck was on their side, especially with Flavio taking out one of the goons."There ya're lad! I thought ye'd be 'ere sooner! Didn' ya hear the gunfire ya deaf bugger!?" Bender laughed at Flavio as he reloaded his pistol and walked for the remaining goon pulling Dirk away."If ya drop 'im I'll let ya live, lad."
rolled 1d10 and got 7
Because of the botched roll, Hooke gets bonus points. 1 = miss, 2 - 6= hit, 7-10= headshot
Flavio didn’t seem to have heard it however, with savage rage the gnoll bent down towards Dirk with his maw stretched wide open. It was a strange juxtaposition to see such a sharply dressed creature act like the monster he really was. If Bender wasn’t on time to stop Flavio the gnoll would tear the Dirk’s throat out.
When there, she decided to shoot at one of the guys surrounding Norin. She quickly (or as quickly as her tiny hands could manage) reloaded her own gun and took aim before pulling the trigger. She'd help from afar. No way she was gonna jump right back in when it looked like things were going to turn up for 'im! Hooke was there, and even though she wasn't fond of the guy (only because he wasn't fond of her really), she knew what he was capable of.
Yanno.
When he's not sulking about things that happened forever ago.
Unfortunately, when she took that shot, it whizzed past him and punctured the wall several feet away. Sigh. Too much movement, she guessed. (Or maybe she just sucked.)
rolled 1d10 and got 3
1-4 miss, 5-8 hit, 9-10 nini forever lawl
Though Stevie had missed, the distraction was enough for Norin to unload his dual pistols on the goon. Two bullets through the chest was enough for him to go down. The Dwarf had worked up a sweat. They managed to stand their ground very well against such an overpowering number of pirates."Gah... ah.... thanks, lass..." The Dwarf then noticed Hooke to be here as well."Ah, fer once it's a bloody damn pleasure ta see yer face, Hooke." He laughed, but Hooke wasn't so keen on joining in the festivities.
"Save it, Norin. How did you wastes of space get in a fight with Hubungu's crew?" Norin's eye seemed to widen."That was The Claw's people? Oh, crud. We've got a problem, cap'n!"
