The bar had a slightly broken atmosphere to it, slightly dark and hostile, it looked like fights occurred regularly, or it was something else entirely, it didn't change my approach to the situation at all. Quickly following Alex with every step I pass through the crowd, keeping my eye to myself. I didn't know if they knew if I were armed or not, but if they did they probably wouldn't mind, since they would 'see' that I was an ordinary human, and they probably believed they could take care of me armed or not. My aura should be suppressed by my eye-patch reducing it to that of an above-average human, so I don't think I'll have any issues, unless someone decides to randomly perform a dispelling ritual. I take a seat next to Alex and give a small smile when I hear what she orders, I don't mention what she is, seeing that it might offend others somehow, I thought it best to keep my mouth shut. When the barkeep looked at me, I smiled and said, "Whiskey, nothin' special, cheapest you got....make it a double, please", I said as nicely and casually as possible, trying to let the crowd settle in with me. My composure was completely solid, and I wasn't really bothered by anything, but I was aware of everything, and being careful. I didn't want the hassle of being discovered and getting my hands dirtied, and having the organization shut this bar down. I was many things but I wasn't a jerk, if anyone started something with me, I would be the bigger man in the situation, and step down, to a point. I was currently staring down at the table deep in thought while I waited for my drink.
The bartender brought them both their drinks and set them on the bar a little too hard, some of the contents spilling out. Alex looked up and glared at the bartender until he sighed and brought her another bloody mary on the house. "Thanks" she mumbled, drinking the first drink in a couple sips and grabbing the second off the counter. "I have some...... business to do..." She mumbled to Azreal as she made her way through the crowd once again, headed to the opposite side of the club/bar.
I don't say anything when the bartender set the glasses down roughly on the table, I just thought it to be how they treated new guys, this was particularly a normal bar. "Thank you...", I say to the bartender, before grabbing my drink, I take small sips, enjoying my drink dearly. Alex seemed like she was drinking water rather than alcohol due to how quickly she drank it. My nose was filled with the scent of Iron, I paused for a second, turning my eyes towards the drink, wondering where they got the blood supply. I almost didn't catch what she said when she mumbled, I watched as she went through the crowd. I was generally curious about everything that was happening in this bar. Hopefully no one will try messing with me, seeing that I was a lone human now. If someone does pester me I'll just play it cool and not say anything, finish my drink, and walk off. There won't have to be any blood shed, unless he follows me out. Right now I was curious as to what 'Business' that my dear friend Alex was referring to...
Alex walked over to a man on the other side of the room, drinking her drink as she went. She sat down next to him, setting her drink carefully on the edge of the table. "You owe me some money, Laci." She sait, her voice barely over a whisper. Something glinted in her hand as she bright her arm around his neck, her hand now over where his heart should be. "You know what happens to people who don't pay up." She continued, the object in her hand clearly visible. The Man nervously took out a box from unde the table and gave it to her. Sniffing the box, Alex causiously openeded the top a fraction of an inch and shut it closed just as quickly. "You think I am an idiot?" She asked waving her hand over the box, her voice rising. She quickly stabbed a couple spots on the box and then ripper the top off to reveal a bomb inside. "I may only be 3, but I am not a freaking idiot." She added, stabbingthesmqllykife jn Ed had into the mans chest. Alex looked up and waved over another man, waving at the first and he took he dead man away.
Looking under the table, Alex found the box she was looking for and smiled, heading back over to the bar, unaware that Azreal had probably watched her kill a man.

Well, it looks like avoiding bloodshed didn't work, even if unwilling it usually follows me around, at least I didn't have to cause any. From what I've heard, she is only 3, so she probably works for someone, or was lucky enough to actually start a 'business' on her own. I take a large swig of my drink before she comes back, but I sit idly, trying to approach the situation casually. I couldn't say that the man she killed was innocent or guilty, judging from where he is, he was probably guilty and participating in something illegal. Then again, I couldn't say that I cared much either, I wasn't very 'Honor Bound' or brainwashed by the system like the other hunters were, A freelancer of sorts. This does not mean that this didn't peak my interest, and I would definitely ask her a few questions, just not in a way that she seems like she is being judged or interrogated. When Alex takes a seat, I turn my head to her, keeping a straight face, and say, "So...What was that all about? What's in the box?". She seemed like she had some power in this place, seeing that she had someone carry the body away for her. If I screwed anything up, I'm sure I'd have most of the bar on top of me, but I was confident that I had been friendly enough to her that she wouldn't do such a thing.
"Oh, the guy cheated me out last time." She said, finishing yet slot her glass of her drink. Alex nodded at the bar tender, who have her a disapproving look, and pushed her glass towards him for a re-fil. She didn't say anything about what was in the box, where it was sitting on the bar next to her.
I couldn't care less that the scum was dead, but she isn't the one to judge who should live or die. Then again, If I said that then I would be a hypocrite, plus some of these things are forged by the always changing 'Destiny'. I peered down at the box, almost like I could stare through its walls and see the contents inside. My aura was being suppressed, and if I tried to increase it to identify what it was, I would most likely break the suppression spell. I would have to make physical contact with the box to actually see what was inside. I take one last swig before turning to face Alex, the object might actually turn out to be something mundane, but then again it could be something disastrous. "Well...That is unfortunate...", I say trying to have a since of pity for the main, but it was clearly false. I ask with a curiosity that is off to the side, "So...What did you say was in the box again?". I liked Alex, she was unlike the other vampires that I have seen, she definitely seems a bit more cheerful than the rest, I didn't want this to turn out badly. If I needed answers though I would push, just not inside this bar. The Organization would be on both my throat and this bars, and I didn't really like them that much, they seemed more corrupt than anything. They approach situations for the benefit of the mass, and will do dirty business underneath that to make their influence stronger...They disgusted me. Unfortunately most hunters don't know that there is another way to hunt, but by the time they find out they have already become corrupted.
Alex took the box off the bar and set it in her lap, carefull not to jostle it around too much. She grabbed a broken peice of galss from the floor and cut the tape holding it together again. She opened the flaps and set it back on the counter. "Take a look for yourself." She said, the smell of fresh fruit penetrating the smell of sweaty people and beer. What wasn't immediately noticable was that there was a capsul of blood in each fruit, each one almost the size of the friut.
I looked at the fruit and back to Alex, I pick up one of the fruits and hold it in my hand. The smell was pleasant, and it reminded me how much I needed to shower and wash these clothes. Even with such little aura to my disposal, I could tell what the hidden content was. I gently place the fruit back down, and look at Alex, giving a small smile, "Uh huh...so...", I try to seem as friendly as possible about the situation. It wasn't really something for her to be hunted for, as long as she was within protocol, and the secretive international supernatural co-existence act. Then again she could have a blood farm at her disposal, or the dealer could. I simply say, "Where did it come from?...", I obviously knew that she obtained it from the man she killed, but I wanted to know the details, and maybe why she was gathering it, for her own sake or maybe someone else...
Alex looked at Azreal thoughtfully. "I thought I was mistaken earlier when I met you, but I guess I was right all along." She sighed, putting the box under her arm protectively. "Your a hunter, am I correct? Because only a hunter would ask me how I gained my monthly supply of food so bluntly." She asked, gaining the attention of several downworlders nearby.
I gently press my finger against my lips and making a low *shh*. "Nobody needs to know that....and you know what will happen if I start a fight in here", I said looking in the corner of my eyes to see if anyone was approaching. I wasn't very good hiding what I was, I looked odd at first sight so some of the folk in here might already know that I am a hunter, but then again they could think I'm something else entirely. "I don't want to start anything...And I'm not one of the Organizations lapdogs I'm from a church that generation of raising hunters goes back to the first ever...You know we like Co-Existence rather than tyranny...", Hopefully that would take some attention off of me, although many monsters saw a 'Hunter' as a 'By the book, law-abiding monster killer'. Many of the set rules in policies for the Organization looked as if they want peace, but in all honesty they are prejudice, and wish all 'monsters' to be cleansed from the realm. I didn't like to call them 'Monsters', species or races is more preferable in my eyes, I even have a few friends that aren't humans. "All I want to know is if you hurt anyone to gain that blood that wasn't within the given standards....", I knew that I was talking to a vampire, which means that she had more honor than most species. Then again she might be scum that has been shunned by the Kindred bloodline, or she could be a fledgling. She probably thinks me as an above average hunter right now, I only hope she doesn't use anything to dispell my suppression.
