"to the castle once we get there" she said sighing " dont think we will make it till tomarow though"

I brush myself off and look back towards her again, and say, "Yeah...I've been traveling for 18 hours straight...I need some rest."

" maybe we should rest for the night" she said

I look to her and nod, "I agree....But...I'm not very good at setting up camp." I say, embarrassed to admit it, I rub the back of my head.

" its fine i can do it my self"enya said

"Okay...If you need any help just ask me.", I say, sulking a bit and feeling useless.

" its ok im use to it" she said stepping off the path to a clearing off to the side.

I step off to the side with her and look around. For being a dangerous road to travel on, this place didn't look half bad at night. I take in a deep breath of the fresh cool night air, and exhale in content. It felt right being out with nature, especially when it was a beautiful night like this one. I look up at the sky and admire the stars that twinkle across its canvas. The light from the stars reflect in my visible eye, and it makes an almost mirror image in my deep blue iris.

Enya quickly got a camp set up " you can use the tent.. i'l just sleep in my wolf form" she said

I watch as she quickly pitches a tent and gets everything laid out, it was quite impressive. I felt useless the entire time, but I was very grateful. "Thank you...Your ability to cope with the outdoors is astounding...", I say with a gentle smile. When she says that she would sleep in her wolf form, I look at her quizzically. "I thought I was going to be the one sleeping in the grass....Since I didn't help...", I look at her, then to the soft grass beneath my boots. I wouldn't refuse, especially since she went through all the effort to set up the tent. I just enjoyed looking up at the stars at night, it was almost like a lullaby and it would eventually put me to sleep.

" Well before i became a Knight i was homeless so i learn to survive " she said

I walk over to my tent and slip into it, but turn around poking my head out of the entrance and resting my head on my arms. I was slightly curious as to what her past life was like, but I didn't want to intrude if it meant bringing up any bad memories. "I'm sorry..." I frown and stare at the grass, plucking some of the blades and inspecting them. "I grew up in an orphanage...It was run by a small church...Life there wasn't easy either.......", thinking back on it, I had food, shelter, and clothing, but that wasn't the hard part about growing up. "I had to learn many things...", I look over to Enya and stare into her sapphire blue eyes. After a few seconds I smile closing my eyes, and tilting my head to the side slightly. "But that doesn't matter...Hearing about my childhood would probably bore you...", I say with a breathy laugh, before frowning only slightly and staring back at the soft grass.

" cant be as bad as haveing a demon who wants you dead as a father" Enya said yawning and turn into a wolf before laying down.

When she says her father is a demon, my fist immediately clenches in the soft grass, and my gaze becomes hard and unkind as I look over at Enya. "A what?...." I say, in a somewhat aggressive and deep tone. A new side of me had been revealed, I looked absolutely infuriated. "Are you telling me.....That you are a demon?", I didn't raise my voice, but my words sounded very cold.

" only half and i curse the fact that i am everyday.. I hate it" she said sighing and shook her head " but really the only way you can tell is if i'm really angry.. but that's rare" she said

I slowly grasp a hold of myself. ~She seems like a nice person....but why?~, I let out a deep sigh and rest my head on my arms. "I'm sorry...", I didn't want to hurt her feelings, but at the same time I might have had to. It was my duty to destroy the demons, I've never seen a half demon before.

" its alright.. I to hate demons.. If there was some way i could rid myself of that half of me i would.. but i cant so i have vowed to dstory the demon king and his followers" she said

"You and I have a similar goal then...", I say looking up at her. "I've met a demon before who was equally...or even more powerful than the demon king...", I look down at the grass once more. "But....I couldn't really say if 'It' was a demon or not...", I finally smile and say, "Well enough of that....I'm going to rest....Goodnight". I quickly and fluidly flip myself around and close my eyes.

Good night" Enya said before curling up and lay her tail over her nose and soon fell asleep

It was a long dreamless night, but I slept soundly. Morning came and the sounds of birds chirping happily with it. It didn't faze my slumber though, and I was still fast asleep.
