He could never decide which was better,being in limbo,or being alive,he just couldn't tell.

"But I think it's gotten better" She sat up again "Now I have feet." She chuckled wiggling her toes.

"Feet,such convinient,things" he said.They were convenient,if you thought above,otherwise,they'd be like a Ish on land trying to get back to water.

"On land yeah. I feel bad for humans though, they can't swim to horribly fast." She laughed softly

"That's true." He said.Which it was true,unless they used something to make them go faster.

She nodded "I know." She walked down to edge of the water and placed her feet in. She watched them transform into the tail she had gotten so use to using in her childhood. Willow sighed involuntarily swishing it around.

He watched as her legs turned from human legs,to a tail at the waters touch.Who knew water was that powerful.

She swished her tail around creating small ripples in the moonlight. She smiled slightly.

He watched her tail,with slight awe.It wasent every day you saw something like that,even if he knew her secret already,it was still not an everyday occurrence.

This felt uncomfortable "You want a picture, it'll last longer." She laughed flicking water at him with her tail.

Vexis got water on him.That snapped him out of awe.He shook his head no to the offer,.

"Alright" She turned back to the water pulling her feet out "Well that was interesting" She mumbled softly

The few drops of water he had that had sprayed on his face,quickly ran off."It would be cool if almost everybody could do that" he said.

"I wouldn't feel so weird." She sighed sitting back down next to him "Theres a group of us left. They live way up north by Iceland if I remember correctly." She shrugged." Most of them have never been on land though." she added in as an afterthought

"They just swim in the water all day instead of exploring land,?" He asked.Curious of course.

"Well part of it is embarrasment. You see when we submerge ourselves in water and come out, were super naked." She laughed softly "And I guess part of it is that they're just scared." She shrugged. "Not like I blame them. Land is terrifying."

"Fear that somebody might be around to see,at a wrong time..huh" he said.Terrifying..he thought land was equal to water.In the water you got things that could tear you apart,you got ways to die,and probably other similar things.

"Well land is so much more.. intense, than water." She sighed "In the ocean you eat, sleep and survive. Land you have to have friends and a job and a house and a social life." She rolled her eyes. "Humans are so complicated."

He had 1/4 land things.A house.His parents always dealt with stuff involving money,and the rest she already knew.No friends,no social life.
Humans were complicated.. so he used to be complicated,and now he wasent?

"I mean the water has it's own set of obstacles, but being born into it I guess you get use to it." She looked out across the water "Theyll come through here in the winter. The selkies."
