“The seals mean something to you im guessing,and you love them alot,like their your friends,its not weird.” he said..He looked up,he still didnt want a ride,honestly,he didnt trust himself close to girls,and alone,which was one reason he didnt want to.

"Thats all true." She sighed "These guys are my whole life. I don't have time for a social life so they make up for it." She looked at him once more. "Okay if you say so, Im working till 11 tonight. So if you want to see the park at night, go to the gate. I can let you in" She smiled opening the door for him. She smiled "Nice meeting you.. Uh I guess I never caught your name. I'm Willowbrook, Willow for short." She smiled again.

He stood up.He nodded an okay,“I might come” he said.And walked over to do door.He hesitated to say his name,but alas he said it anyway.“I'm Vexis Knight” he said.“Nice to meet you Willow” he said and went through the door.

She spoke softly "Thats a nice name." She looked at him to make sure he found his way out. She slowly turned back to the seals sitting down with them "So my babies, what'd you think of him?" In response she got a wet nose pressed into her face. "Well maybe he'll show up again sometime" She laughed quietly, throwing them a few fish as a treat.

Before he left he said,“Thanks..” he walked towards the zoo gates and he left the zoo.
-That Night-
Vexis returned that night,like he said he might would.He stood at the gates.The moon was full,so he could be seen standing there.He could just go through the gate as a ghost,but he would just wait patiently.

As Willow walked about she was fighting her urge to swim with the seals. Stopping at the front gate she saw Vexis her mind easily relaxed "Another person to save me from myself. Thank God." She walked to the gate a small smile on her face "Hey there" She released the gate letting it swing open "Come on in."

He stood at the gate.Seeing her out of the tip sight of his eye he looked up at her,Willow.“Hello” he responded to her.He watched as the gate swung open before him,he then walked into the zoo,time 2 of the day.

"You find your way home alright?" She asked cautiously. Changing the subject quickly to avoid any akwardness she said "What animal do you want to see first?" She smiled and walked over to him.

Before he could even nod a simple yes,the subject had been changed,that didnt take long.“Surprise me” he said.Honestly,he wasent sure what he would have wanted to see first.

"Monkeys it is! It's right up to the left over here. They're super cute when they sleep." She unlocked the door letting them both in. "Im honestly not sure what monkeys are in here, you wouldn't happen to know, would you?"

He followed her to the monkeys exibit.He looked around for a minute then looked at her and shook his head no,“i forgot..” he said honestly.He remembered hearing what kind of monkeys were in this exibit from some strangers visiting,but he couldnt remember...

She laughed "Well the one with the red ass is the baboon" She pointed to it. "Ive always thought monkeys would be a super cool pet. But they've gotta be a lot of work." She smiled pointing to another sleeping monkey "I think that's a gibbon." She shrugged.

He looked at the baboon once she pointed it out. Good way of defining it he thought.
“I bet they would be.I've heard what monkeys do when you piss them off..” he said.He looked at the,possible gibbon,examining.

"The lady that got her face bitten off? Yeah that's exactly why Id never get one. That and they're expensive" She laughed. "Hey look at that monkey with the mustache. Those ones are my favorite" She smiled as she watched the creatures sleep.

He nodded,he agreed on both the lady that got her face bit off,and the expensive part.The expensive part was the reason it was such a rare occasion to see somebody who owned a monkey outside of a zoo.He looked at the monkey,that in a way looked like it had a mustache.He watched the sleeping animals.

She caught a glimpse of his face, he seemed unimpressed "Would you like to see the big cat exhibit now? They're cool"

Vexis looked at her,a slight tad of interest in his eyes.He nodded.“Sure” he said looking at her.

"Sweet. It's down by the seals, right there." She said pointing to a building to the left of the enclosure. "I believe we have tigers, lions, bobcats, and leopards. But don't quote me on that because Im not 100% certain"

He looked towards the exibit beside the seals,the one that held the large cats,okay,how did i not notice that earlier.. he thought.“Guess we'll just have to see for ourselves then” he said,still just every so slightly interested,but only his eyes showed it.

"I guess we will." She gently shut the door behind them locking it. She began walking down the path past her seals. "Ive always thought this exhibit was very nice. The lions have this little pool they lay in sometimes." She trailed off messing with a piece of hair between her fingers. She unlocked the door and held it for him.
