"Im sure they think Im dead." she said quietly

"What if they saw that you were alive?"

"I think they wouldn't like that.. The way it works is you're just suppose to die after they leave you." She sighed. It was a sick system.

He looked down.That was one awful system of things.

"But I couldn't. I couldn't die Vexis. I was only 17.. That doesn't happen." she said letting a few tear slip down her cheeks.

Vexis watched the tear roll down her cheek."Your alive now, and that's all that matters, right?"

"I guess so..." she said quietly, sniffling.

"Life seems better then death.Live long, die old"

"Do you really think that..?"

"Well, I haven't moved on.They say the afterlife 'perfect' but still..."

"If you were given a second chance though, would you have killed yourself?" She said looking for any sort of answer in his eyes.

He looked down, he thought that question over.After a moments thought, he shook his head no."I would have lived longer, accomplished much more, and moved away from my past"

"Oh." she said quietly. "Good."

"And if I could take it back now.I wouldn't have struck that match"

"Sometimes that just feels like the only answer.. It isn't to end your life, it's to end the pain." she paused "I wish I couldve helped you.."

The parts that caused him to suicide came back like a flashback to him, the sin, the match, the kerosene, the fire, the death.He looked down a little more, it was always haunting him.

She sat there, she knew she shouldn't have said that.

He let out a quiet, raspy sigh.Then looked up some, then looked at Willow.

She looked back at him not saying anything, no need to make the situation more akward.

There was awkward silence, well, this was still awkward.
