<Bird Pokémon don't have noses!> He protests. <They have beaks!>

<Pfft, they have nose holes don't they?> she giggled, <Besides, they're the same thing, right?"

<Nuh-uh! Beaks aren't soft, and noses aren't good for cracking berries open. I tried. I was smelling Oran Berries for a week!>

<You don't need to crack open oran berries, silly," she stuck her tongue out, "Those are soft."

<Well I wasn't going to try a hard berry! That would be silly!>

<Why would you try that anyways, you silly dog?>

<An older pup dared me.>

She just giggled, <You're silly, ya know that?> she smiled brightly down at him.

<Not as silly as thinking a beak is a nose!> He laughs back. <I spy something... Red!>

<Um... Is it... My paws?> she guessed and waved her little red feet paws at him over Archur's shoulder.

<Aww, you figured it out really fast!>

She smiled proudly and then looked around.
About half an hour of "I spy" and other games, they arrived at the edge of a small town that consisted of a Pokemon center, a few homes and a grocery store.
"Alright, we'll stay here for the night," Archur smiled at the three Pokemon accompanying him and looks up when thunder started to rumble in the distance, "Perfect timing too."

Ignis looks unsure if staying in the rain or going inside would be a better choice, but he follows Archur and the others into the Pokemon Center.

He rented out a room for himself that was large enough for all of the Pokemon to be out of their balls.
"Well, we'll just wait the storm out here," he said and sat down on the bed. Rome and Venice and even Melody joined him. He pet the zangoose's ears while Rome and Venice cuddled onto his lap and Archur smiled down at Ignis, "You can hop up here too, if you want, bud?"

He hopped on to the bed and laid down a few inches away. Archur's lap looked too crowded.

He reached over with his other hand and pet Ignis behind his stubby ears as affectionately is if the houndour were his own.

He pushed his head against the scratching, feeling relaxed already. Who knew fingers were so useful?

He smiled at the fire dog and then lay back, still letting him, while Venice moved over and flopped onto his chest and Rome settled on his belly.

He opened his eyes a bit and looked at the others one at a time. They were all so different, but they seemed happy together. Sort of like a pack he was tagging along with.

Over in one corner, Nicholai and Forli were cuddled closely together and Anubis had taken up a spot in an arm chair and was reading the book that was in Archur's bag.
Melody smiled at Ignis and sat up next to Archur. The shiny zangoose was indeed an attractive creature and her sweet smile was somewhat intoxicating.
<So, how long do you plan to stay with us?>
