<It's not your fault,> Anubis shook his head, <Not yours alone, anyways. We're all at fault here.>

<I still feel bad. I haven't even known him a day and I was talking about it like I've known him as long as you guys...> He sighed, putting his head down on the bed.

<Don't worry about it too much... He's not going to blame you alone. He's not allowed to be mad at only you,> Anubis said again, <And besides, I'm sure he let you into his life as if he'd known you for years. He's usually pretty open,> said the Lucario, who glanced at Venice.
The little fox was cuddled up into Melody's chest, crying quietly.

<I know that, I think... I still feel bad about it.>

<So do we,> Anubis sighed and and reached out towards Melody, who passed Venice to him. He cuddled her against his chest, <Hey, don't cry,> he whispered softly, <Don't cry. Just... Take your time and think about it, okay?>
She nodded subtly.

He gets up and hesitantly nuzzles her shoulder.

<I'm sorry I made you cry.>

She looks over at Ignis and nuzzles his cheek before hiding away in Anubis's arms.
<I unfortunately think that her affections are directed at you...> he said worriedly, which brought another stifled sob out of Venice.

<I.. see. I can't win then. I'll hurt one of them no matter what...> He hops down to the floor and curls up in the far corner, sighing.

Melody followed right behind him and say down at Ignis' side and rested a hand on his back.
<Don't worry, everything is gunna be alright," he said reassuringly.

<I should have ran when I saw Archur and Nicholai, Melody, then no one would be sad right now! If I stay, I hurt someone, if I go, I hurt someone. This sucks.>

<Anubis sometimes over thinks things. I'm sure there's a way to fix this... We just need to get Venice and Rome alone together. They need to talk about this, finally...>

<I'm not sure I should stick around anymore.>

<Venice wouldn't be the only one who would be disappointed if you left,> Melody warned, <I know I'd miss you and Rome would too. He doesn't like what's happening but he likes you.>

<If you say so.> He sighs again and closes his eyes, trying to decide what to do. <Stuff like this is a reason I wander...>

<But then there's not a lot of excitement. Granted, this isn't a good situation, but the drama is a little but exciting,> she shrugged, <And we never get lonely together. I'm sure you do at least sometimes.>

<Yeah. There's good and bad to wandering alone...>

<You should stay with us,> she pleaded, <Please?> the zangoose gave him her cutest, puppy-dog face she possibly could.

He laughs once.

<That face won't work on me, you know. Us canines invented it.>

She stopped and let out an indignant huff, <Doesn't mean it won't work,> she said and then lay down with her head resting on his side.
<Im sure that this will all blow over soon.>
